He is incredibly thoughtful (meaning, he really *thinks* about his patients' issues) and thorough, and does genuinely seem to care about his patients. The hygienist seems to really love her work -- she's always prepared, very professional, and always tells me about some new technique or technology she's interested in.. The dentist (her husband) is also a professional: he always comes in to look over the x-rays and compare the history, and genuinely seems concerned. I had just been to another dental clinic in Leominster, where I was seen by a young dentist who spent more time looking at x-rays of my teeth than actually looking in my mouth, then told me I needed 4 teeth extracted immediately, or I might risk the chance of sepsis from an infection in one of the teeth. I went to Dr. Cronin for a second opinion. He listened to my story of what had happened, looked at the same set of x-rays and examined my mouth, telling me that, "Yes, some of these teeth may need to come out, but not now." We proceeded on that basis. Some of those teeth have had to come out, but both the process and the cost were far more agreeable. And speaking of agreeable, Dr. Cronin is simply a very nice guy. Dr. Cronin now is semi-retired and I am seen by Dr. Dani, who is probably the most relaxed dentist I've ever seen. At the end of my first session with him, we fist-bumped--it came out of nowhere, feeling completely natural. Both Dr. Dani and Dr. Cronin actually listen to a patient and try to do what a patient wants; and the cost is reasonable. I do not have dental insurance and they lower the cost accordingly. If you can get the amount you will pay after your dental insurance pays and do this before the procedure. It will make your life easier. Make sure the Office has the correct amount of deductible for your dental insurance. Basically you have to be your own book keeper and stay on top of EVERYTHING. As kind as I can say this. The girls are nice in the office but the billing and treatment plans with the insurance is AWFUl. To me they don't do their job or they are bad at their job. We are looking for a new dentist and its to bad. We absolutely Like all the Dr's and Hygienist. Reason for leaving,I do not want to be doing their office work. I'm glad I don't work full-time because if I did, none of this would have been taken care of because of not having the time. If you go here make sure you know what you are paying for.
