I texted and left several messages over the past few weeks ago. Today Michelle called me to say Sam would no longer be working on our equipment. No reason, just an abrupt end. I do not consider this professional. He was always paid in full and usually with a partial payment before he started a project. The least he could do would be to explain why he no longer wants us as customers.

I have been a customer of Bradway Plumbing for 5 years. This morning I called requesting help with our aging mini-split a/c system and was told they would no longer provide service to us as a result of an incident that occurred last Fall when driving past the owner's house. The workers they hired were installing electrical conduit and a box truck in front of us stopped before starting again. My wife and I, with our two dogs in the car, began to proceed. I assumed it was safe to proceed. The truck suddenly stopped and the reverse lights came on, so I blew my horn, knowing they could not see us behind them. Suddenly, the two workers startied screaming at me, cursing and calling me names and verbally abusing me for proceeding. My wife and I were very shaken up by this and called the local police to report this violent behavior. I am extremely upset as well as disappointed that this company would turn their back on me as a customer. The only reason I am giving them two stars is that we have always been satisfied with their work. Knowing that this is how they operate, I would never even want to use them again. They actually should get 0 stars for treating a customer in such a way. EDIT: to be clear, I never said the workers who verbally abused us were employees of Bradway Plumbing. But it is Bradway Plumbing who we just discovered will no longer do work for us. There is no misplaced blame, other than Robert now trying to blame me. I guess he thinks we should just accept being verbally assaulted and cursed at by the people he hired to work on his house? Maybe he should have spoken to the people he hired about the incident. Anyway, I am now fully aware of the type of business owner Robert Bradway is and will happily move on.

Andy arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem: Carpenters had done the plumbing…read more It was a lesson that Andy continued to drill into me during the course of his visit: People whose primary skill is assembling wood into domiciles should not, under any circumstance, be allowed to also put in the plumbing. I'd never thought of it before. Plumbing is a skill set. Plumbers plumb. Carpenters do carpentry. This makes sense. You wouldn't want to look into a cockpit and see that a pastry chef was going to give piloting a go. Having once plied his trade at the World Trade Center, Andy has gained a wealth of knowledge that allowed him to very pleasantly point out everything wrong with my carpenter-installed plumbing. He showed me how the wrong connector had been used, and how the pitch of the pipe was incorrect. Once he was finished shaking his head, he got to fixing it. In addition, and totally free of charge, he pointed out that the wizard who installed my water pump had built a wall around it, meaning that someday I will have to remove a toilet and tear my wall open in order to access it. He also noted that some plumbing-adjacent electrical outlets were not up to code, and he couldn't help but point out that the PVC heating pipe that was installed in lieu of copper will one day burst and send water throughout my basement. In order to fuel my nightmares, he showed me pictures of a recent such disaster. Overall, there were lots of teachable plumbing moments. He's funny and very personable, so it really took the pain out of hearing my carpenter-plumbing was shambolic. Andy's prices were very reasonable. Once he was off the clock, we talked cooking. Andy is a phenomenal chef, and he has the pictures to prove it. I called my wife over so that she too could look at numerous glamor shots of Andy's mouthwatering dishes, while Andy Jr. patiently waited for his dad to get back in the truck.

Kitchen Sink became completely clogged early Saturday Morning (11/29/2025) Tried the usual cures…read morebut to no avail. Called Byron Parker Sunday Evening and left a message telling my problem and requesting assistance. Monday morning (12/1/2025) I received a call from Rebecca who told me a man was available that morning. The man was at my door in under 20 minutes. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name but he immediately went to work on the drain system. Opening the clean out plug and using a snake he had the drain operating properly in no time. He performed some checks on the remainder of the system and noticed that the sink basket was very loose. He took it apart and using new putty reassembled it so that it no longer leaked. I was very impressed with the service provided by Byron Parker and its employees. Having worked in the plumbing department for many years in one of the Big Box stores, I recognized the skill of the man and the thoroughness of his actions.
