I have been a customer of Bradway Plumbing for 5 years. This morning I called requesting help with our aging mini-split a/c system and was told they would no longer provide service to us as a result of an incident that occurred last Fall when driving past the owner's house. The workers they hired were installing electrical conduit and a box truck in front of us stopped before starting again. My wife and I, with our two dogs in the car, began to proceed. I assumed it was safe to proceed. The truck suddenly stopped and the reverse lights came on, so I blew my horn, knowing they could not see us behind them. Suddenly, the two workers startied screaming at me, cursing and calling me names and verbally abusing me for proceeding. My wife and I were very shaken up by this and called the local police to report this violent behavior. I am extremely upset as well as disappointed that this company would turn their back on me as a customer. The only reason I am giving them two stars is that we have always been satisfied with their work. Knowing that this is how they operate, I would never even want to use them again. They actually should get 0 stars for treating a customer in such a way. EDIT: to be clear, I never said the workers who verbally abused us were employees of Bradway Plumbing. But it is Bradway Plumbing who we just discovered will no longer do work for us. There is no misplaced blame, other than Robert now trying to blame me. I guess he thinks we should just accept being verbally assaulted and cursed at by the people he hired to work on his house? Maybe he should have spoken to the people he hired about the incident. Anyway, I am now fully aware of the type of business owner Robert Bradway is and will happily move on.

Five-Star Experience & Outcome: From Initial Contact to System Commissioning…read more Northeast Ductless recently completed a whole-house installation for me of Mitsubishi ductless hyper heat units (2 external, 5 internal heads). This represented a major capital project more than a year in the planning as I sought quotes from different suppliers/installers. From the first contact, Larry Cubeta and his team were: expert, responsive, communicative, professional and reliable. I felt that we were partners in my project. Northeast Ductless, as the name implies, ONLY does ductless/split heating/cooling systems and Larry knows his stuff. You won't find someone who is more experienced, has a better sense of system design, can make modifications on-the-fly as needed to accommodate house attributes and cares about quality. Northeast Ductless is not just trying to sell you a system - they realize it's a major expense, it involves modifications to your home and it needs to perform properly and look good. My installation (which was not simple, given my house configuration) went smoothly and when Larry and Matt left, the system worked perfectly. Northeast Ductless were "turnkey" in that I did not have to involve any other contractors - maintaining single point responsibility. Northeast Ductless were not the cheapest quote I received, but I knew I would be getting what I paid for in terms of quality and service. In our post-Covid world, Northeast Ductless implemented strict health and safety protocols (masks, distancing etc.) on my job in collaboration with me. With communication and coordination it was easy and effective to get the system installed and commissioned while maintaining practices that protected all our health, with minimum time inside the house.
