I have been a customer of Bradway Plumbing for 5 years. They installed a hot water heater for us,…read moreand have completed multiple plumbing jobs such as toilet installations, sink faucets, UV light systems, and more. This morning I called requesting help with our aging mini-split a/c system and was told they would no longer provide service to us as a result of an incident that occurred last Fall when driving past the owner's house. The workers they hired were installing electrical conduit and a box truck in front of us stopped before starting again. My wife and I, with our two dogs in the car, began to proceed. I assumed it was safe to proceed. The truck suddenly stopped and the reverse lights came on, so I blew my horn, knowing they could not see us behind them. Suddenly, the two workers startied screaming at me, cursing and calling me names and verbally abusing me for proceeding. My wife and I were very shaken up by this and called the local police to report this violent behavior. I am extremely upset as well as disappointed that this company would turn their back on me as a customer. The only reason I am giving them two stars is that we have always been satisfied with their work. Knowing that this is how they operate, I would never even want to use them again. They actually should get 0 stars for treating a customer in such a way. EDIT: to be clear, I never said the workers who verbally abused us were employees of Bradway Plumbing. But it is Bradway Plumbing who we just discovered will no longer do work for us. There is no misplaced blame, other than Robert now trying to blame me. I guess he thinks we should just accept being verbally assaulted and cursed at by the people he hired to work on his house? Maybe he should have spoken to the people he hired about the incident. Anyway, I am now fully aware of the type of business owner Robert Bradway is and will happily move on.

Their response was almost immediate with technicians to address both a plumbing and heating emergency; a furnace failure which had resulted in a frozen pipe to burst causing catastrophic damage to our entire home. Within hours Mike had found and repaired the broken pipes and faucet and Josh had the Peerless furnace up and running allowing the Servpro team to start their remediation work. Thank you all on the Robert Bradway team for your excellent service!

I posted another review about Josh's fantastic service for my boiler several months ago. When my…read moremini-splits stopped blowing cold air, I knew Josh would be the one to call. He fit me into his packed schedule (of course the units picked the first hot spell of the season to act up), diagnosed a refrigerant leak, and set about fixing it. If you're not familiar with mini-split systems, the difference between them and central air is that where central air cools air at the condenser unit then circulates it through your house, mini-splits circulate refrigerant, cooling the air at various "head units" throughout the house. The advantage is that mini-splits are easier and faster to retrofit into old buildings. The disadvantage is that there are many more places for a refrigerant leak to hide. Josh filled the system with UV dye and came back late in the evening to check for leaks. He found a couple of egregiously loose fittings---a sure sign of shoddy installation by the other company that had installed the system. At this point, he suspected there were probably loose fittings elsewhere. He's keenly aware of how expensive refrigerant is, and how bad it is for the environment when it leaks. With that in mind, along with the fact that the heat spell had broken, he suggested we hold off on refilling the system until he could come back and do a full system walkthrough. When he came back, he pressurized the system to its max with Nitrogen, so he could check for leaks without wasting refrigerant. It just so happened to be the hottest day of the year (so far), but that just made him more determined to get the system running for us. He worked thoroughly but quickly and got our system running better than I think it ever has. I'm profoundly grateful for his hard work and dedication. I cannot recommend him highly enough for any HVAC work you need done.

I can't get any other contractors to finish his work because it was done with obsolete equipment. Get in touch with us, we really need this system finished before we move!

I didnt try it until the first hot day in May and it did not work. The same worker came back and said that I had a leak and he was sorry he didnt notice it at his visit. He put an order in and I got an appointment for May 24. First of all, there were some hot days and I did not have air conditioning. Now there is a weather report that it may hit 90 this coming weekend. I am 78 years old and have to contend with this upcoming weekend without air conditioning because they are not coming until May 24. I called this morning to ask for a manager to call back. I got a call back but it wasnt a manager and she said it wasnt an emergency and they were too busy to come sooner. I think it may be time for me to look for another heating and cooling company. Also, if I'm charged a fortune for the repair which should have been done back in April, I will really take my business elsewhere. Susan Zuckerman

So, our updated review. This has been a difficult relationship from the beginning. However, it…read moreseems to be improving. I manage rental properties. I don't live in them, and it's quite a drive to get there. I also operate other businesses, and I will explain why this matters. We initially paid another company to make a repair when a tenant had no heat or hot water. That company charged us over $600 to bleed air from heating lines. On Thanksgiving weekend, the same problem reoccurred. The first company would not answer the phone. I then called Four Seasons. They agreed to come out after hours, but only if we would meet the tech there to 1) Pay immediately and 2) Sign a service contract with them. Ok. I get that. So, we drove out, met the tech, waited around for the repair, which we were told was a maintenance issue. We paid just under $500 for this call. A week or so later, I had to return to the site. I noticed hot water pouring into the basement. I called Four Seasons. There was a problem with the unit they had just repaired. I was told that they were very busy, but would come out later that evening. The catch.....I had to wait there to pay them C.O.D. Wait. What? I thought that's why I signed a contract with you??? I was told that NOBODY gets billed. Everything is done C.O.D! A heated argument was had. The service manager at one point, told me that he would just refund $170 back to me, and to call someone else. I told him my situation, and how I couldn't just wait around all day at a House I don't live in. It's winter! I also told him to keep his damn $170 and just fix my heat. After some argument, he agreed to come out and to bill me. The bill was paid as promised within a day. Fast forward 2 weeks. Another call for no heat or hot water. Same unit. I called Four Seasons and was told that I needed to be there to pay C.O.D! After I invented about 20 new cuss words, I was able to convince them to bill me. They went to the house, and advised me that I needed a new heat exchanger. They made a temporary fix, and ordered the part. When the part came in, they replaced it. 6 hours later, I get a call from tenant. No heat. No hot water. This time, Four Seasons went out to repair it. I recall it took 3 Trips, and I was told it was a maintenance issue. A dirty filter to be exact. Four Seasons then returned to do the maintenance. So far so good. However, today I got the bill. I was charged for the heat exchanger, which should be covered by warranty. Summary: Four Seasons is capable of being a 5 Star company. They NEED to work on their customer service. Not every call is a deadbeat. Some of us are respectable business owners, who appreciate lasting business relationships. They seem to be working on their issues, and I will continue to use them when needed, as long as they commit to improvement. Update: Just got another bill for $334 for overtime to address the maintenance issue (dirty filter).
