The Photo Spot - Champagne sparkle backdrop at the Flamingo Banquet Hall

    The Photo Spot

Kunaal was amazing from the very beginning! I reached out to several Photo Booth rental companies,…read moreand while the other responses felt generic, Kunaal's reply was genuinely tailored to me and our event. I really appreciated that personal touch. She worked with me to create the prints exactly how we envisioned, and they turned out so cute and perfect. On the day of the event, the setup and cleanup were incredibly efficient and easy. Kunaal and her husband ran the Photo Booth seamlessly and engaged wonderfully with our guests! I was especially delighted when they gave me a stack of prints they had saved for me... I wasn't expecting that at all! Of course, I also received the digital copies, and they came out amazing. I would 100% recommend The Photo Spot and will absolutely use them again for any event I have in California. Mahalo!

Booked the Photo Spot. Prices and options were on their website and it was easy. Paid a portion…read morewith signing a contract online and then the rest of payment on the day of the event. We had an open air booth with an attendant, unlimited photos. Set up was on time and the attendant was helpful and courteous. We had an idea of what template we wanted on prints and Kunaal delivered in creating what we asked for. We chose the backdrop. Communication was great. Service was great. Days after the event, we received a link to all the photobooth photos taken. Everything went well and our guests enjoyed it very much.

However...it's worth it. Great staff, very helpful, attentive, kind. Pick up/drop off and all communication with ordering was fantastic. The funbooth system was awesome! Simple to put together, clear pictures/gifs. (2) notes: the traveling container is thiccc, meaning, it's a passenger in your car, make sure you have space. All of the photos taken from your event are PUBLIC for 12 months. Like, everyone that has used their product will be able to see all the things that took place. Do with that information what you will TLDR; Worth it, at least once.

This place is so much fun! They have 14+ photo backgrounds. If you love posting on Instagram and…read moreTikTok this place is a MUST! Hurry though and book your reservation online because they are only here through mid February. It is in an 11,000 square foot warehouse they are taking safety precautions like taking temperatures, face masks must be on until you get to your photo station, they have hand sanitizer and all the staff are informative. They are also giving back to the Sacramento community in a big way, some proceeds go to Weave, Joshua House and Front Street Pet Shelter. This would make a great date night! It is a little chilly so be sure to wear layers. I would love to go back. Your ticket will get you 60 minutes and up to 6 people can be in your group.

What A Snap Photo Booths - August 4, 2016 Yelp's Top Secret Night #3 @ Sactown Union Brewery Sacramento CA

    What A Snap Photo Booths

We had a great experience with What a Snap! I just hired them for my sisters wedding (one week…read morebeforehand) and they were on top of it! They sent great options for photo strips and were very prompt at responding to my questions via text and email (I mainly spoke to Crystal, who was lovely). The day of went off without a hitch, the Photo Booth attendant (Habib) arrived on time, set up quickly and was ready for fun with us! Everyone at the wedding loved the booth and the fun props they provided. Habib was very professional and polite and the whole experience was lovely. I would definitely recommend them for any event!

I was really disappointed with the customer service. We hired What a Snap for my wedding and paid…read morefor their service from 5:30-10pm. The attendant was late and the box was broken so the attendant had to leave the wedding and come back with a new box. He returned around 6:15pm. He realized he still needed to upload the photo template to the new box but it was not connecting to the venue wifi. He was about to pack up and leave until my wedding guest offered to connect his phone hot-spot and helped him to troubleshoot and somehow got it to work. My guest should not have spent his time troubleshooting their equipment, but because of him, it prevented this from becoming a complete disaster. It was operational starting at 8:15pm but the print out was cut off on the bottom and cut off my hashtag. The pictures were also overexposed so everything was white. The setup should not rely on the venue's wifi as there are many venues that are in remote areas and/or do not have internet service nor should a guest come to rescue the attendant and help him troubleshoot the system. I was very upset and requested a full refund because I got a little over 1.5 hours of service from them. This was supposed to be a souvenir for my guests and most of the guests didn't get to use the booth. I was offered 3 free hours for a future event as a consolation because they were trying to justify their actions. What am I going to do with that? It's not like I'm getting married again. Nor would I want to use their service. Needless to say, they agreed to refund a partial amount. So disappointing.

Pink Shutter Photo Booths - Posting inside the photo booth

Pink Shutter deserves 10 starts out of 5!! I'm sure you've seen the cheap-o groupons for random…read morephootbooths for 50% off, but I would definitely take Pink Shutter into consideration. Customer Service: There were three photobooths at the Yelp 'Too Hot to Handle' event (a smart idea to avoid long lines in the hot, hot heat). I was pretty annoyed at the loud scream-o music and the sun beating down on me, but as soon as I got to the front of the line, the guy working the photobooth instantly diffused my irritability. You best believe we took advantage of the free photos at the event, and went to every single photobooth - and the customer service was up to par at each one! If you're looking to work with professionals who treat you and your customers (or party atendees right), I would definitely come here. Photobooth: SoOo. MATCH. FAHN. Think modern photobooth - digital, touch screen, and easy interface. Three pictures, 10 seconds in between, and that's it! There were a lot of fun props to play with such as boas, mickey mouse gloves, lollipops and more - (my personal favorite, the indian headband...... despite the leftover sweat from other Yelper's blech). Once finished, you wait no more than 60 seconds for the developed product! Picture quality: Crisp, and clean! We were told if they're hired, the event holder is able to work with the designer to design a border made to your liking. We were very interested, because we'll be holding an EDM event in Townhouse Lounge (Happy Hour on September 7 - cough shameless plug cough.) Anyways, YES YES YES and YES. Pink Shutter.

We hired PinkShutter for our wedding in March. After many unresponded emails and back much and…read moreforth with the CEO / co-founder Lance, we did not arrive at an acceptable resolution after the terrible service they provided. Here's pretty much a copy of the email we sent him recounting what happened: From start to finish there were some major issues. James (the photo booth operator) was at the root of the issue but frankly, the issues went beyond James and were with the technology itself. Photo booth did not start until 8:15. We had agreed (and paid for it) to have it up and running at 7:30. When he arrived, he disrupted the speeches/toasts because he was so late. We paid $50 extra for parking so parking troubles is no excuse. He was eating the whole time. We had 3- 4 guests that independently came up to me askin if I wanted them to correct his behavior. Initially he was eating noodles in a way that he literally had them hanging down his face as he cut them with his teeth, holding the bowl up to his chin to have it catch them. It was gross and unacceptable. If he was hungry, he should have eaten before he arrived at my party. He was drinking our alcohol the entire night - and didn't ask. He helped himself to our gourmet ice cream bar and ate that the remainder of the time. Again, didn't ask. He was essentially eating the entire time he was at our venue. It was gross, disruptive and unacceptable. The camera kept freezing - which we were able to confirm based on pictures. It also kept switching to flipbook mode - James didn't know why or how to fix it. Plus he was always multitasking with a bowl in his hands. Resetting it seemed to have taken another 10 minutes. James was either stoned or drunk the entire night. I had other guests comment on that. Multiple times. He was uncommunicative, sweating and flush. It was not hot in there and there were no other guests that were similar. He was under the influence of something and it was noticeable. James did not tend to the photobooth the entire time. even my wife said that he was no where to be found and she experienced it herself. She had to wander through the venue to find him and get him to reset the camera. Completely unacceptable that even my wife, the one who paid for it, could not find James and get his assistance. I understand that these are some of the perils of having staff that works events. I also understand that technology doesn't always work as it should. But from start to finish, this was unacceptable and disappointing. Truly - there are a ton of better photo booth options out there - don't try this.
