Megon And the Staff are Great at what they do Always call me…read morethe day before my appointments I am getting older, so I need a reminder call Thank You Merry X-Mas Paul M. Longfield

To preface, this is my first time writing a review, let alone a negative one! After being a patient…read morehere for over three years, I'm done. Suburban Dental sells faulty products and is an unaccommodating cash grab. The office manager will not get on the phone to speak with me, despite making unreasonable financial decisions. Additionally, they provided incorrect information regarding my insurance coverage, argued with me and then dismissed me when I tried to explain that my insurance provided partial coverage--then required that I pay in full. As a sanity check, I called my insurance provider for a second time to confirm coverage, and then called Suburban Dental the following day to explain that I was creating a claim. The office manager then offered to create a claim for me. Their procedures do not make any sense; why did I have to go through all of this trouble to begin with?   To explain why I say 'faulty products': I've purchased three different retainers--not because I just adore retail therapy--but because they kept partially cracking upon removing them. Their retainers are a very delicate, thin piece of plastic that I am very careful with removing. I even asked their hygienists to show me how to properly take them out to prevent breakage. However, within approximately 3 years of owning them, the bottom retainer broke after having it for ~1.5 years, and the top retainer broke after ~2.5 years. As a comparison, I had a previous retainer from a different dentist that lasted over 10+ years and never had any issues.   To explain why I say 'cash grab' and 'unaccommodating': The first time my retainer cracked, I was charged full price ($225) and was 'conveniently' informed afterwards that I could have brought in the molds from when they first created them and only been charged a 'discount' of $125. Considering the fact that they created my retainer, had my molds on file and knew I was unaware of this perk, it seems this was a way to take advantage of a patient. Recently, my top retainer broke and I relayed this information to a receptionist who tried to plea my issue to the office manager, who refused to speak with me on the phone. Despite initially overcharging me and distributing a faulty product, I was told I'd have to pay another $125 for a top retainer. I feel that because both retainers cracked the same way within such a short period of time from simply removing them, they should've been accommodated for. For the $450 price point (I am now investing $800 into retainers), the quality of the products combined with the lack of professionalism and accountability from this management is unacceptable and arguably exploitative.     This practice clearly refuses to provide ethical, quality care to their patients. I'll be finding a different dentist, and I hope this message prevents others from wasting their time and money!

Perio cleaning can be painful, best case scenario is to get it done quick. Fast forward and Loraine is gone. Replaced by a much, much less experienced hygienist. I only needed the bottoms cleaned. The top had a temporary, as I was in the process of getting implants. I told her, but she evidently didn't understand and she started scrapping at the temporary and disrupted an implant. There are other perio offices, some really close. I go there now. Guess what? I even found Loraine!

I will just call him Satan from hell. I am still shaky, ashamed, humiliated and traumatized; I thought I got hit by a truck after I left his office. My story with his office began on 11/22/22. I called his office and they got my insurance information. I got a call back from them that my co-pay would be $37 for my first consultation with him. After my consultation with him, he recommended braces for me because I had a receding gum on one front tooth and it started to slide down. I also have an implant on tooth number eight. I asked him if the braces was the best treatment for me although I have an implant, have Osteoporosis and I am 56 years old. He said he's 100% sure that the braces would be the best option for me to fix the problem. I went ahead with his recommendations and I got braces. I went for my second visit with the ortho, and I was told my four front teeth started to get loose, especially the implanted tooth. The ortho removed the braces from the implant and gave me a referral to go back to see the periodontist who had recommended the braces to check the implant out. I called the periodontist office and automatically my name was flagged because I have osteoporosis, therefore they won't be able to see me as per the periodontist. He recommended braces yet he did not want to deal with any issues. After conversing back-and-forth, I managed to get an appointment for April 21, 2023. A week after I made this appointment I got a bill from them that I already settled with them and paid my co-pay when I was there last visit. I went ahead and called my insurance to find out why I received this bill. The insurance representative told me that probably they put the wrong code. She said next time you go there make sure to tell them to change the code from last visit and put the right code. On April 21, I got to the office and I met with his assistant who looked miserable. I told her what the insurance told me she looked at me and said "your insurance is asking us to commit fraud, you need to settle this issue with the front office" and I said no problem. I also told her that the periodontist already knows I have osteoporosis, a receding gum and a tooth implant from the previous visit but still recommended the braces for me and now my four front teeth are all loose so I need to know what to do next. I don't know what the assistant told him, but he came to the room very angry. He started interrogating me for 20 minutes about the insurance, and kept saying with a clenched fist how angry he is with insurance in general.I waited for this appointment for almost 4 weeks I apologized to him many times; I said "please forgive me" and "I'm very sorry". I said "please have mercy and just see what's going on with my teeth". When his assistant told me that I should solve the insurance problem with the front desk, I thought the subject was closed with the insurance.I was stunned because I have never seen a doctor so angry about discussing insurance issues during the consultation with a patient. "Satan from hell " not only did he deny my right of treatment, but he was beyond rude. The money and greed made him unable to distinguish between right and wrong on one hand; on the other hand he knows he messed up by recommending braces for me which can cause me to lose my four front teeth. He doesn't want to take responsibility for his mistake therefore he treated me with the worst possible way that no human being deserves. His assistant came and said here is your paper work go to another periodontist. At this point, I felt hopeless and I started crying because this periodontist gave me an incorrect diagnosis and delayed my treatment plus his misconduct forced me to call the police. I will see him in court.

He did some general care but never told me I needed to see a specialist so I took matters into my own hands. Dr. Endy was very surprised that I had waited so long. I was very upset and she talked me down. She explained what was going on and told me I did the right thing by coming to see her. She was professional and extremely knowledgeable. Surgery was explained, she worked with my insurance and scheduled me right away. it's now two weeks past surgery and it's all good Believe me, I was not the best patient. I kept asking questions and changing my mind. She told me everything she was doing during the surgery - no pain. Called me to follow-up, Scheduled two post-op visits. The pain was minimal - just one day of soreness. Sure I was uncomfortable a few days, but that was mostly so my husband would wait on me. In conclusion, I would highly recommend her. Her office staff, Rebekah was so helpful. if she did general dentistry I would switch to her in a minute. I have to have more surgery but it's all good cause she's the best.
