The minute I walked into the Hamilton Design Dental office I was greeted and treated well. I was taken in in a timely manner and met Mellisa who did my check up and cleaning. It's good to be in the chair of someone with so much experience! I thought I'd be nervous but seeing all of the up to date equipment and cleanliness of the office space made me feel at ease. She was very pleasant and answered all the questions I had. I especially liked how they take pictures of all of your teeth! Incredible technology. They say you don't know what you got til it's gone and that's true, when I decided to try another dentistry, Gentle Family Dentistry on Cedar Crest. My first visit there I was told I had 19 cavities and it was going to cost me more than $3,500 to fix it all - and of course they were very quick to offer me a finance plan through a "3rd party" company. Needless to say I ran back to Dorneyville as fast as I can. Dorneyville has a great staff and they do a good job, fair, and they don't try to add on more stuff for you than you actually need. In fact they told me I only have two areas that they'll keep a watch over and fillings aren't even needed. I had them retake xrays and examine my teeth, as well as re-clean my teeth since they didn't feel clean at all after having it done at the other place.

After having the lower dentures for about a month they still hurt every time I chewed food. After a couple of adjustments which they charged me for, which I didn't feel was right since they didn't fit properly from the beginning. After all, they were the ones who did the impressions. The last time I was in for a cleaning the dentist was very condescending When I told him my gums were very sore, he said that he didn't see anything without even looking in my mouth. When I tried to show him the problem he said "I don't have time for this today". They certainly had time to process my payments. Two days later one of the top teeth came out of my top plate and they could not see me for three days. Before the appointment they called me and said Delta Dental longer would cover their practice. My dentist was Dr. Stephen Charnitski. I am a 75 year old veteran and don't deserve this type of disrespectful and aggravating treatment.
