I didn't have a problem with the practitioner I saw; she was competent, as far as I could tell…read more The first red flag was their communication. While there, I was given an iPad, filled out all my information and it seemed handy. They did a biopsy on a small mark - whether it was necessary or not, I do not know, but I defer to the judgement of the medical professional. I went in to have some spots on my arm looked at. I got a full waist above exam and that was OK. At the end of the exam I was told, not asked, that I would be coming back a month later for waist down. A few days later, I received an email saying the lab results were in. I went to their log in page, entered email (the one through which they contacted me), name and date of birth and got: "Does not match our records". So, I thought they would follow up with paper mail. It's been quite a while and I have heard nothing. I get the feeling that it's business, first. I made a copay at the time of treatment I got a second email from them saying I had a payment and to go to their portal to pay. Same result: "Does not match our records". My wife was head of Quality Assurance at one of the ten largest hospitals in the US. At that hospital and another she also worked in, it was a constant battle with doctors who "do no harm", but order superfluous tests. Many tests are easily shown to be unnecessary, but dermatology is different and it is best to err on the side of caution. Most dermatologists do a lot of biopsies and well they should. The ones who do 100 percent of first time patients are suspect. I do not know what the rate is here, but the cheap way they handle the website and "portal" is a red flag. I didn't go back.

I should have know when I got an appointment so quickly that something was fishy. I know the doctor…read moreis newer to the practice but he's also older and I think it's his time to retire. He just didn't seem to put any effort into what he does. I got the impression he just doesn't have it in him anymore. My apt was a waste of time and money. He pretty much told he "you have sensitive skin" and sent me on my way with a prescription for a cream. He also wanted me to come back for a follow up. No thank you! Why, so you can take more of my money. I did a lot of research on the rash on my face, but he didn't seem to believe the research. Really? There were many studies done - I think he needs to do his homework. I would not see this dr at this practice again. Total waste of time - like 1.5 hours - and even more money.
