I made the appointment at 3:30, was arrived at 4:15 and was seen and on my way out the door by 4:45. That being said -- I wasn't rushed. I just didn't have to wait, he came in, talked with me at length, both about what was going on and some things that proved how well he knows his stuff and how long he has been doing this (30+ years). My husband has been a patient of Dr Chiara's for years. After several moves (further and further away from his main office in Milford) he/we are still coming to his practice for any skin concerns we may have. We love the Novi office because it is a lot closer to us than Milford, but we just as gladly drive the additional half hour. Heck, we'd drive to Grand Rapids if we had to. Setting up an appointment is easy, and they do their best to get you in as soon as possible. Talk to Oxana (the Dr's wife) or Lisa (she's awesome) and you will receive stellar service, because both are super friendly and professional. Dr Chiara himself is patient, sweet and wonderful. He will do anything to get you better, and genuinely cares about your progress and well-being in the process.

He said mom your doing it all wrong, those are not pimples on his nose, you caused it by using dove soap. He told my son listen to me if you don't want those use only zest soap in 1 month they'll be gone. I felt horrible when he told me you never pop bumps like that you'll scare him for life. I felt like the worst mom ever! Fast forward to 5 months zest used twice a day for a month no change. Finally made another appointment yesterday with a different dermatologist who said yes they are white heads want me to get rid of them. She explained he's only and the white heads never came to a head. She got them all and now with just a few little spots will heal up in a week. She recommended rentina to stop future problems.
