John and his crew did an excellent job on repairing and repainting of our house. After moving into our first home it became apparent that the outside definitely needed to be repainted. John arrived promptly for the estimate. He a really nice guy, easy to talk to, and only took about 10 minutes to look at the house for his notes to create an estimate. We got an estimate by the end of the same day. His prices are very competitive and reasonable. He was not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive of the estimates we received. I had a nice rapport with John, so we decided to hire him and his team. They started 2 weeks from the day of the estimate. The entire job took 5 1/2 days. They were supposed to finish on Saturday morning but due to rain, they had to push it off until Monday. His crew was very detail oriented and did a great job. The stucco needed to be repaired in several areas, our side gate needed to be reinstalled into the stucco, and we had a few light fixtures we wanted to be removed and filled in. They did an excellent job with all the repairs and the outside of our house now looks brand new. As they were priming and painting the house, we just had a few issues we wanted to be fixed or redone. After bringing the issues to John, he was happy to have his team address and fix the issues quickly. Ipe wood siding covers the majority of the front of my home and required detailed hand cleaning and oil application.The finished wood siding looks beautiful. Additionally, our house has a smooth stucco finish that required a specific 100% acrylic flexible wall coating. The application of the product was perfect. This review is a little late but I wanted to make sure everyone knows how great John Thomas painting is!!! If I could give 10 stars I would! As John is very busy at this time it may take some weeks for him and his crew to get started on your project but the wait is well worth it!! His pricing is extremely fair and reasonable. John's crew of Moses, Juan, and Jose are the absolute best!!! They were always at my house right before 7AM every day ready to go!! John finished my house in 7 working days including many repairs, prep, touchups, etc. This review was for the painting of the exterior of my house. His team was able to install a new garage entry side door and had to customize the facial boards to match my existing design since Ganahl Lumber was extremely expensive and had a 7 day lead time for the materials on the facial board repairs. We love the way our house looks and thank John and his team for all their hard work! John is very easy to work with and a really nice guy who listens to all your concerns!! I am so impressed with the job Thomas Painting has done so far. The preparation is outstanding. We are about three quarters finished with my five bedroom home. The house hasn't been painted in quite some time and required a lot of scraping and patching. It seems like I have perfectionists doing the work.
