I was never notified of this and should have received a phone call advising me of new date! On 8/10 I called Dr McGuire's office to discuss and was told by his office I could come in now an and have procedure on 8/10. I told the office how is this possible since I wasn't prepped What office would say that the doctor could do a colonoscopy without being prepped. Sounds like malpractice case in the making ! Totally a horrible experience that demonstrates a severe lack of interests in patients. And not one person at practice had the decency to tell me how and why the procedure date changed without a phone call to me- the patient. Caveat emptor. Beware.

I asked if I needed to make appt in 5-10 years as Dr Silverstein had told me during our initial visit or 2 years as it stated on the discharge paperwork. The woman on the phone stated since I was asking a question that she didn't know the answer to I had to make an appointment. so I know I have at least 2 years why would I make an appt sooner.
