This business is a scam. I set up an appointment for them to clean my gutters. I was not home, but…read moreI received a call that they were complete and found a tag on my front door that somebody had been by. They pushed the fact that I needed new gutters and wanted to give me a quote. I asked them for pictures of the clean gutters, and they assured me that they would send them along with the bill to pay for the cleaning. I had contractors at my house that advised that they never saw anybody come clean the gutters during the time that the Ned Stevens rep said they were there. I would not advise using this company.

They showed up unannounced, the young man who rang the door bell tracked mud on the rug by the front door. I asked if they were going to hand clean the gutters, he said Yes. Then I watched him grab a large blower out of the truck and I stepped out and asked again if they hand cleaned the gutters first, before blowing the gutters and he assured me that was how they worked. Two minutes later the blower was going and leaves were flying everywhere, all over my back porch, patio, sidewalk and somehow onto my front porch, which is in an alcove 20' away. I went out and asked them to stop work and again said I did not want the gutters blown out, that I wanted them hand cleaned. Again, they both just shook their heads and said this was how they did their work. So I then asked them to stop work, clean up and leave my property. I spoke to the office and was told there must have been a misunderstanding that they never hand clean gutters, they just blow the debris out. He said if I was not happy the consumer I just needed to call the office and they would send another crew out to clean up. He offered to have a crew back out tomorrow, but after this experience I would never have any of his workers here again. How about doing the job correctly the first time. I just spent hours cleaning up the mess they left. Be very cautious of Brian Propos who I had spoken to. I was very specific I did not want the mess that would be created if they blew the gutters and he assured me they would hand clean the gutters, and sweep up any leaves that might miss the bucket. I was going to have them come back to clean my windows, but I would not have anyone from this business on my property ever again.

I used this business and was so impressed with this company I applied for a job. Honest reliable…read moreand great at what they do.

This group sent an "Certified Foundation Consultant", (read salesman) to our home upon our request…read moreto have an evaluation done on a tilt in our master bedroom floor going into our bathroom. It was caused by a support jack being put under a beam apparently in the wrong place, prior to our contacting them. When we left for a one week vacation our chest of drawers was standing straight, when we arrived home it we leaning against the wall, so this was no minor tilt. This man (the first of two) also drew a sketch of the support beams exact placement and marked HVAC in the exact spot which was almost butted up against the unit. We still have the sketch in our files. After measuring under the house as well as in our bedroom directly above, he sat down with us and proceeded to tell us all of the ways that RamJack could correct, or at least improve our situation. Never ONCE did he mention the FIVE TON HVAC UNIT which if he was a "foundation consultant" he surely must have seen would be a problem. He then proceeded to inform us that if we chose to move ahead with them, we would need to write them a $640.00 check for them to pull a permit. We did not understand at the time that it was non refundable. This was on July 6, 2023. On July 31st they finally got someone back out here to begin the work. He came inside, with an assistant, and looked at the floor, took some measurements, then went under the house. He was back up in ten minutes or less with "some bad news". It seemed that the exact spot where they would need to dig to install the two eight foot deep pillar supports was DIRECTLY BESIDE the HVAC. Not enough room for them to get in there and do what was proposed. PROPOSED by the first consultant who came and had obviously seen the problem and chose not to call our attention to it. So now we were told that the HVAC, AGAIN, FIVE TONS would have to be MOVED temporarily for them to do the job and then moved back. We were promptly informed that they don't do HVAC work so we had to call in the company who installed it. They gave us an estimate for moving and replacing the HVAC of $5,000.00. We decided to try and find another solution, so put RamJack on pause. We went back to the original installers of the first smaller jacks to see if they could do anything without moving it. We let RAMJACK know that we would not be moving forward with them. However, we were not refunded our $640.00, we did see later, in the fine print that it was non refundable, HOWEVER we feel that was definite neglect on the part of the first man, the consultant. We entered into that contract for pulling the permit WITHOUT PRIOR KNOWLEDGE of the very expensive impediment that we would face. They still have our $640.00 and have refused to work with us on this, even though, the consultant's neglecting to mention the HVAC situation was the reason that we felt confident moving forward. We would NEVER have written that check if we had know this. We feel that we were taken advantage of, because of our lack of knowledge of these things, which is supposed to be their business. They are supposed to inform you before you sign up of any potential issues, though they would say this does not apply I think it does. This review is written, as a cautionary tale for future customers. We are 70 years old and retired. This company had no problem keeping our money which we gave in good faith that they would inform us of any and all potential issues BEFORE we wrote the check to pull the permit. I know they are a widely known brand, and that is why we called them, however, if I had it to do over we would not call them again. Do not write these people a check to pull a permit until AFTER you have had at least their own repair people look at it, or better yet a second opinion from another source. I hope that taking the time to write this will save at least one person from getting into this situation with them. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company.
