My bed frames, TV, and electric fireplace were all DESTROYED. I was already under an incredible amount of stress, and now we're sleeping with our mattresses on the floor and we had to replace our TV. The TV was discovered when we were moving my property out of the storage unit, to my new home. It had been leaned against the wall, but the screen had OBVIOUSLY taken an impact- So the employee who did it was obviously trying to hide it. I'll never be working with them again.

When there was a pop up shower, they did nothing to protect the furniture. When wrapping the white silk sofa, they dropped the cushions on the muddy floor. They chipped the marble on the coffee table and a concrete outdoor pedestal. They even broke a concrete urn. The movers toward the end were rude and dismissive. When I called the owner to ask how I would be compensated for the items that were damaged or destroyed he agreed to repair 3 items and gave me $50.00 for the urn. He did not repair the 3 items. WARNING: Unless you want your furniture destroyed, DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!!

The most frustrating part was when I requested to cancel. Ashley talked over me, ignored my request, and became increasingly aggressive during the conversation. I was told that because they had my request form, they would determine how the move would proceed, which made me very uncomfortable as a potential customer. Thankfully, I had not provided any credit card information directly to this company. I contacted HireAHelper.com, and they ultimately helped me avoid doing business with Friends Moving and Delivery. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this company proceed with caution. The estimated flat rate was my biggest deciding factor because I've felt that previous moving companies tend to draw out the time since they charge on an hourly basis. In addition, Simlog also gave me a 20% discount as a first time customer. The movers were great about taking care of my furniture & being respectful of the walls & flooring in both my new house & my old house. I had most of my boxes packed, but the movers did a great job with packing the "odds & ends" items that were not packed. The movers also did a great job with cleaning up after themselves & putting the boxes & furniture in the rooms that I requested.
