I genuinely question how this individual received a law degree or continues to hold a license to practice law. People told me a long time ago to drop him as my attorney, and I should have listened. I tried giving him multiple chances, hoping things would improve, but they only got worse. In terms of professionalism, communication, and handling a retainer, this was an absolute disaster. This attorney would yell at clients, curse during conversations, and constantly pressure clients to agree with the opposition instead of actually fighting for them. Rather than advocating for his clients, it felt like he was working against them. He even arrived late to my court appearance, which says everything about how seriously he takes his clients and their cases. What made the experience even worse was his behavior and language. He would use slang and stereotypical terminology depending on a client's ethnicity -- saying things like "papi" to Latino clients or referring to someone's child's mother as their "baby mama." It was disrespectful, inappropriate, and completely unprofessional. At one point, he even told me that neither I nor the mother of my children could be trusted. He also told me to bring him $500 in cash and "slip it to him" on the day of court, which completely crossed the line and made the entire situation feel shady and unethical. The overall experience was shocking, uncomfortable, and unacceptable. An attorney should make clients feel represented, respected, and professionally guided. This was the complete opposite. I would never recommend this attorney to anyone.
