My first project was my bathroom vanity, just in case I or it did not perform well. It turned out great! My sister, the critic, was very impressed. My second project was the main/guest bathroom. I chose a different color, cashmere. Another success! It did require and extra coat versus the sand color I used the first time. It was well worth it. Turned out great again! My sister is now ready to try it at her home and I am ready to tackle my kitchen cabinets! In addition, I have waited about 4 months to post and make sure the paint was holding up well and it has. My only problem that it took a few weeks to receive the paint. Thus the 4 stars rather than 5. I really don't think it was all their fault though. I ordered during their holiday sales special. I imagine they were overwhelmed with all the orders. Plus, all the shipping companies were swamped with holiday deliveries. A toast to the company! I had already jumped at the chance for their BOGO and purchased 2 more qts which are arriving soon, maybe today, and they are telling me they will not take the return even if I refuse the shipment from the carrier to save shipping fees. Unfortunately I am out $60 in my budget for this now. By the way, I followed their technique with the dry roller after brushing the paint on and it left thousands of tiny bubbles in the paints surface. I had to quickly go over it again with the brush but the brush left a rough surface. I use to be a woodworker and for over 20 years had painted, stained and varnished many types of wood. This paint goes on very thick and it says on the can not to thin it out. My kitchen cabinets are real wood. Dealing with this company and their awful paint has taken the joy out of my project of painting my kitchen cabinets. Their customer service is the worst I have ever come across. Stay away from this company.

Most of the year it's open by appointment only (exceptions exist in that they have periodic open houses), and if you do go, the best signage you can expect en route are a couple very understated "plant sale" yard signs. They do maintain a good website. But clearly most of their effort goes into cultivating native Kentucky plants. In fact, I'm not sure any other nursery in the area can claim the same reputation among the biggest gardening nerds in Louisville. The selection of native plants isn't overwhelming, but it's varied enough to give anyone plenty of options. Lots of sun-loving plants as well as shade-loving, and everything from trees to ground cover. And the grounds are lovely.

This is a small nursery located on a beautiful twisty wooded road in Goshen, KY. It was easy to find and the folks who own and run this nursery are extremely personable and know what they are talking about. Their two big dogs will greet you as you drive onto the property. With the owners help I chose several plants (wish I bought more) for my plot of land. I was told how to plant and how far apart (use a ruler) each plant should be. It was nice to be in such a peaceful atmosphere. If you are looking for "real" Kentucky Native plants you won't go wrong by shopping at Dropseed. This is not your huge BB store, but a small nursery established by people who care about keeping Kentucky's native plants alive.
