They stated that they will switch over the whole account including the money once we found an orthodontist in Florida. So I dropped it until this month when I found an ortho here in Florida. My daughter has had to have two phases with her ortho and she has completed phase one which was April 30, 2019 through November 2019 from what I can see in the paperwork. So that is seven months out of the 36 months her plan has called for. I paid $7172! $2787 is all I have received And they've stated that 60% of the treatment has been done. I've contacted this company three times by email and asked for communication to be done through writing which they have ignored all emails for over a week. They refuse to email me me back as to why 60% of the treatment is stated when only seven months of the 36 months has been completed , and where is the rest of the money because from my understanding this does not calculate. They will not further communicate with me to help me understand if someone would like to get in touch with me. At this point that would be great. You have my email. Joanna, their amazing assistant gave me a tour before bringing me back for X-rays. She kept me comfortable with their heated massage dental chair. WHAT?!?!? They have those??? Oh I'll be back for that alone!!!! When it came time for Dr. Bonyadi to do my initial exam, Joanna provided him with my dental history, expectations and most importantly, my concerns. My recommended treatment was prioritized at a pace I was comfortable with, being that I do not have dental insurance. Dentistry is not expensive, negligence is. The building is really nice. Tvs under the exam seats and in the lobby. Toys and books for kids to read while they wait. Everything looked well kept and clean. The dental assistant that handled my child was beyond perfect with her. My daughter did very well in the environment and it was because of the calm and caring demeanor of the person who took her X-rays and did her cleaning. It came time to meet Dr. Tam. He was very direct, monotone, and didn't have the the child friendly demeanor I had expected and hoped for. He tried to connect with my child but it like he was going through the motions (or at least that was my perception which could be wrong). It could have been that they were busy and he just didn't feel like he had time to try but I left the interaction feeling indifferent. He was informative and got a plan in place for us to move forward with. Overall this place is worth checking out at the very least. I'm glad I checked it out and I loved how they give the kid a toy out of a dispenser when you leave. It's a very nice touch and now my kid will be excited to go back

It wasn't until he started complaining of gum pain on and off for a few days that I pulled the trigger and contacted this place based on our neighbor's recommendation. Normally I like to look up the providers in our network first, then their rating before calling to make an appointment, but desparate time requires desperate measure. I'm so glad everything worked out and our toddler now loves it here. For his very first dental appointment and I was blown away at how calm and how well he did. He followed all the instruction, complied with all the checkup and cleaning. I couldn't be prouder of him. It does help that they have TV mounted on the ceiling to keep the kids' looking up and be distracted, but I think I was more into the TV that day than our kiddo lol. Our dentist was Dr. Tam. It was a quick appointment for him since our toddler's teeth didn't have any issue, but he did take his time afterward to answer my questions and talking about our pediatrician who shares the same last name as him. At the end, our kid got to pick a toy from one of the vending machines or a bigger toy that they have. He went for the vending machine one, but they were very nice and gave him one of the bigger toy too. Which definitely was a huge bonus for him to want to come back. I can't recommend this place enough and just glad they are here in SM!

Now my insurance has changed (for the better) and I have local options. I called Western Dental a few days ago and canceled my appt. Today I get an email reminder that my appt's coming up. I called them again and had to cancel a 2nd time. Considering all of the horrible reviews, I feel like I dodged a bullet but I'm also suspicious that this is SOP procedure: 1) fail to delete canceled appts; 2) bill for the missed appt; 3) send to collections. They weren't AT ALL surprised to hear that they had failed to cancel my appt. I could be wrong about this but I doubt it.

Also had a deep rooted cleaning and the hygienest was excellent. This dental office does it all. A one stop dental shop. No need to go to other practitioners for root canals, implants, braces, etc. Also, they take Aflac dental which makes it super convenient.
