We have used Thompson Drilling for a lot of years and never had any problems with them. We did have to have a new well about 16 yrs ago because the old was shot.We have not had any issues with the new one. We also have rental property and had them out to do some work on the well. My renters had no water. Within the next day they were out there and got the well working again. I 100%, trust them and as long as they are in business I will call them for any repair or replacement that we might need. read more

Would be no stars, but there are two pros of using this company... pros: 1. Accurate and fair billing. 2. Had a free estimate for a new well to be drilled. The cons were much worse and wanted to write a review as a warning to other potential customers, as there were no other honest reviews with our experience. Cons: 1. Took 2 1/2 weeks to complete(not including sanitizing). 2. NO COMMUNICATION about when they were coming- we had to call them about everything. 3. Lack of hard work/workers. Never stayed more than 5-6 hours in a day and always had excuses as to why there weren't more employees. 4. Subpar equipment that kept being broken or broken down. 5. Bad electrical work- not professionally installed and just hanging down. 6. Huge mess left. They only tried to clean it up after I said something, otherwise a hug pile of sand would have been left in front of my front door. DO NOT RECOMMEND read more

Thompson's came out after another company treated me awful on the phone, yelling at me and telling me they didn't have time to explain everything to myself and my husband. I called Thompson's and they came out and explained everything to me, worked so hard to try and fix the well instead of just telling me I needed a new one like the other company did. I couldn't be more happy with their customer service and willingness to solve the problem and work with me. I would highly recommend Thompson's. I made an appointment with them to do a trench and connect water from my well to my barn and the appointment was canceled because of weather issues, that's not the problem tho What bothered me was when I called to remake the postponed appointment they wouldn't answer, it would always take me to voicemail. I called them like 7-9 times before they finally answered and I was able to remake the appointment. The day off the appointment they never called to confirm so I called the company to see if they were coming or not, and once again I started having the same problem, every time i called it went to voicemail. I'm sure they do a good job but it bothers me that I can't even get in contact with them. read more
