Boy were we not disappointed. You will absolutely taste the skill and quality of the food !!! I would highly recommend the scallops, some of the best I've ever had. My husband had the blackened trout and raved all night about it. We started with an appetizer of fresh tomatoes and one of fried tomatoes. Both were so yummy I couldn't grab a pic in time before they were all eaten! Drinks were also great as well as the service. This is a restaurant you could dress up for or dress down. It's casual but worthy, relaxed but memorable. Parking is easy and a great place to just chill with some exceptional food. It is definitely our new go to for sure and if you're wondering...Thompson's Station is correctly spelled with an apostrophe s.

It has such a cool atmosphere and the staff are extremely friendly. Our server was Rae, and she was fantastic! She was attentive, kind, and knew the menu inside and out. I noticed how often she came by to refill our waters, check on us, and make sure we were having a great time all while rushing off to take care of her other guests just as well. I haven't had such a great server in a long time. If you visit Circa, definitely ask for Rae you won't be disappointed!! Our meal was extremely good and such a great value for the price. The brie is always one of our favorites. We also tried the shrimp fritters and wow, I'm so glad we did! The Ahi tuna was incredibly fresh and refreshing. The steak burrata flatbread was good, though it tasted a little bland to me. The mushroom burger was solid too, but not the most flavorful. Overall, we love this place! It's one of our favorite date night spots. Make sure to snag a reservation because they book up fast!

First was a food temp problem which went back to the kitchen and returned satisfactory. The second was another small issue with char grilled oysters. My wife asked to speak to manager for feedback. In the end our meal was comped , completely unnecessary but appreciated. They threw another beer my way too so above and beyond on the outcome. We had no complaints per se but have a big compliment to share. 55 South has high expectations and are going to take great care of you.

I would first suggest the gumbo, great flavors and not too spicy. If you aren't overly hungry, the gumbo bowl could certainly be a meal. I wanted to sample more of the menu, so I ordered the smoked turkey with their popular "comeback sauce". The sandwich was very good, but I'd suggest the sauce on the side as I wasn't a fan! If you're in the mood for spice, try the hot chicken sandwich. The burgers were also well liked by our table. I have never liked oysters, but they appear to be famous for them - they have a count of how many oysters they've sold up on the wall! If you enjoy oysters, I'd say give them a go. 55 South is in a great area, there is so much to see and do. I'd highly recommend checking it out. We will be back!

We arrived at around 6:45pm and knew exactly what we wanted and ordered right away. everyone's drink came out at the Same time but mine came out with a literal bug in it. Complained and they said they would fix it. Then the oysters came out and we gobbled them all because they were so good and it's not hard to eat oysters. My drink? Didn't come out till 7:05pm when happy hour was over after getting other people involved asking about it multiple times, not just to the server. Then all of a sudden another one came out and they said here they accidentally made another one because I guess someone had put another one in while we were waiting so we just had to chug that one too. Didn't seem super responsible to be honest but at least I had other people to share it with. Would have rather just had it taken off the bill completely rather than then trying to just give us free drinks when we were already trying to leave. Overall seemed to be a bit disorganized and couldn't even leave until around 7:30pm because no one would come by and give us our check. We were late for our next commitment which sucked. No other way to say it. Expected way more from a classy hotel

What a pleasant surprise this turned out to be. Nashville Jam sits inside an older converted home. It's not much to look at from the outside, very quaint inside, and a real surprise from a culinary perspective. There wasn't an item served to our table that I wouldn't have been happy with, since I took a bit of a sampling from each of the kids pancakes and my daughter's fried green tomatoes wrap, but my Three Fungi Benedict, that was to die for, and yes, you could pick up the various flavors. Our server, while new to the Jam Cafe, was terrific. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and this spot, is an absolute gem!

The restaurant itself is a little tight, but it goes with being an authentic Nashville spot. There is also outdoor seating. Parking options include street parking and a lot in the back.
