Don't be intimidated by the line - the team has a great system in place and because you're ordering then being seated, food comes out quick and the line moves fast. Biscuits are delicious and flavorful. The lavender lemonade was a refreshing beverage. Our favorite dish was the b-roll. Having breakfast here is an awesome way to start your day in Nashville.
A lot of people disagree with me based on the reviews but our experience wasn't great. Waited in line, it wasn't too long. A sign said 30 minutes from where we stood to order, but it wasn't quite that long in reality. The setup is awkward. the line going in blocks anyone trying to exit. There are signs telling you not to enter and block the exit but nobody paid that any heed. The line to the register is filled with shelves of things to purchase. When we got to the register I decided on a t-shirt in a great mustard color. It was pricy and I wished I would have waited as I wouldn't have purchased after. The ordering experience was fine, and we were seated after a moment. We were seated right next to a water dispensing station that was very active. I was anxious to get my first cup of coffee of the day but that wasn't in the cards. After flagging someone down (maybe a manager) and asking for our drinks, they still didn't show up. Our food arrived after about 10 minutes from the ask and still no beverages. After eating a little the coffee and tea finally showed up. I was over it, and asked for a go cup. Food was ok, I didn't care for the gravy but that is my thing, I usually am not a fan anywhere but thought that being a southern spot I thought it might be different. The potatoes under the egg were good, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I interacted with someone on the square site and added my comments , they were pleasant and refunded the drinks. I was so excited to go here based on my pre-trip research. Definitely a letdown.
I stopped by while attending a conference, and although they were busy, everything was running smoothly. From the moment we walked in, the service was friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The staff stayed attentive and made sure everyone was taken care of. I absolutely love the Bonut -- it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. Their fruit tea is refreshing and just the right amount of sweet. And the Princess is delicious as well! Everything tastes as good as it looks. Great experience overall. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!

Biscuit Love was another breakfast recommendation. A solid option if in the area. Got the Egg Plate with Two Eggs Over Easy, Bacon, Biscuit, and Cheese Grits. The eggs were cooked perfectly, bacon crispy, and the cheese grits had excellent flavor and weren't soupy or runny. I got it to go and it was missing that pat of butter on top. I feel that would have made it next level. I don't know if that's normal, but when I was stationed in the South I was taught this and it really was comfort food. They have their own style of biscuit and it's really good. Like a 9.5. I loved the jelly's. My gorgeous wife got the SEC and she loved it! The service was excellent and I would return if in the area.

I loved the large light-up Nashville sign, the Dolly sign by the bathroom, and their "resting brunch face" t-shirts. The bonuts were delicious! They had a cream on top that was amazing and they were lying in warm blueberries. The biscuit had flaky layers that you could peel apart. My husband had a burrito that was HUGE & two meals! Overall everyone enjoyed their food.
We went around 1 PM on a weekday and it wasn't too busy, so it was a nice laid-back brunch vibe. The ambience was casual, chill, and really comfortable. We ordered the Fruit Tea, East Nasty and the B-Roll. I liked their Fruit Tea, nice and refreshing. The East Nasty was pretty good overall, the fried chicken and gravy were flavorful and comforting, but the biscuit underneath was a little underwhelming. BUT oh boy the B-Roll... omg WOW. I've genuinely never had anything like them before. My husband called them "cinnabon on steroids" The pastry was light, warm, airy, and perfectly soft. Then the gooey pecan topping was sooo good, and the cream cheese icing on the side tied everything together perfectly. Absolute chef's kiss. Honestly, order this when you come here.
If you want biscuits and gravy, this is the place to go. Food is delicious and plentiful and you won't walk away hungry. The atmosphere is very pleasant, albeit can be a little loud. Our orders were taken fairly quickly and turnaround was fast. It was mid-morning and I was already coffee'd out from traveling so we started with sweet tea, lemonade and an order of bonuts. I was ordered the Southern Benny (I am kind of an eggs benedict fiend). Don't be fooled, there is no Hollandaise sauce but the most delicious sausage gravy on my biscuits and country ham, topped with eggs over medium. Hubs got the East Nasty sans eggs and it had the crispiest looking chicken thigh. Ever. A glass of lemonade and sweet tea and we were set for the day. This is a breakfast that's going to stick with you for the day.Lines can be a bit long but worth the wait. People watching is pretty fun, too. We wandered around a bit to try and settle our full bellies, and stayed out of the sun until we could check into our hotel and change into weather appropriate clothing.

This place is really popular. You have to lineup outside to get in, which is annoying, especially in the heat. The food was very tasty and you get in and out quickly once you actually eat. I just can't justify having to lineup outside a business in this day and age when there is so much technology to make experiences positive for consumers. The tables were a bit cramped. Worth trying once. I would not do this on repeat.
If you're looking for something quick, this is NOT the spot. When our Uber driver dropped us off, he even mentioned the line was shorter than usual -- and still, there were about 12 parties ahead of us. What should've been maybe a 30-minute wait turned into an hour. I'll never understand why restaurants choose systems where you have to order before being seated. There were at least 20 open tables while people stood waiting in a line out the door. They'd honestly make things run smoother (and probably make more money) if they just had servers take orders at the tables. There's something to be said about real service -- having someone check in, bring refills, and make sure things are right. With this setup, they lose that connection and any real feedback on how to improve. Even having one team lead walking around to check on tables would make a huge difference. The gal working the register on Friday around noon was painfully slow and had zero sense of urgency, which made the wait even worse. The food itself was great -- awesome flavor and quality -- but the system completely ruins the experience.

As one the most popular restaurants in all of Nashville, Biscuit Love epitomizes many things that make Nashville, well, Nashville. For starters, the city's natural party scene requires two things: fatty food and hangover remedies. Biscuit love serves both in one package, from buttery dishes to gravies that sooth that hangover better than any detox juice ever could. The second thing that firmly embeds Biscuit Love into its location is the biscuit. Coming to the south and not trying this phenomenal delicacy should be borderline illegal. And, Biscuit Love, perhaps, just perhaps, makes the best biscuits to be had out there. That is a dangerous thing to admit, but their unique texture of borderline croissant-ish layering of dough makes these biscuits dangerously delicate. They aren't those classic crumbly dry ones one many southerners are used to, but rather a revolution into what a biscuit should be. Lastly, Nashville's love for fried chicken and hot chicken is the other reason to come here. Well brined, perfectly crispy chicken at Biscuit Love is spectacular in every way that it should be and will wipe off that hangover from the face of the earth in minutes. read more
Stopped by Biscuit Love for breakfast on a recent trip to Nashville. When you arrive parking can be found on the street via paying the meter or in a parking garage. When you walk into the restaurant it has a laid back, urban, and southern comfort vibe. You'll place your order at the counter and then handed a number. Someone sat us once we were handed the number but it may just be open seating. We ordered the Bonuts (fried biscuit dough, tossed in sugar and topped with lemon mascarpone and served over blueberry compote). The bonuts were by far my favorite part of the meal, perfectly balanced and a must order. For our entree we split the East Nasty (buttermilk biscuit, topped with chicken tenders, buttermilk white cheddar cheese, bear creek sausage gravy and we added an egg). The biscuit was good but needed a little more gravy. I also used hot sauce as I wanted a bit more of a kick with my biscuit. If you are in the Nashville id definitely recommend stopping the for brunch. read more

Biscuit Love, located on 11th Avenue South, is a fast-casual brunch restaurant known for its Southern breakfast. It's open every day from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. When I arrived, there was a line out the door. While I waited, I looked over the menu so I'd be ready to order by the time I got to the counter. I was pretty hungry, so I went with the Egg Plate as well as the East Nasty biscuit sandwich. The Egg Plate includes two eggs, creamy cheese grits, a warm biscuit with jam, and your choice of bacon or sausage. Simple yet satisfying. The East Nasty biscuit sandwich comes stacked with crispy fried chicken, melted American cheese, and rich, flavorful sausage gravy. You can add an egg for an additional $3.50. This sandwich was absolutely incredible, a must-try if you're planning a visit! read more
Was looking for a breakfast spot for my visit in Nashville and ChatGPT suggested this location based on a focus in southern style biscuits, coffee and a trendy atmosphere. Visited Biscuit Love Gulch location. When you walk in, you wait in line to place your order at the counter. Then you are seated in the dining area and given a number for your food order. We all ordered the SEC biscuit sandwich with a buttermilk biscuit topped with sausage, scrambled egg, new school American cheese. I added Bear Creek Farm sausage gravy for an upcharge. The sandwich was very tasty, I deconstructed it and added gravy and chives on top. The sausage patty was very flavorful. It was a large portion size and I was only able to eat about half so I think it could be split between 2 people. The restaurant had a very modern and trendy vibe and l enjoyed the bright lights and Nashville sign in the dining area. They had several other menu items that I was interested in trying including the shrimp and grits. Was an enjoyable pick for a breakfast spot for my visit to Nashville. read more
Biscuit Love is a great brunch spot with excellent food and service. I always say Nashville has the best food, and this place did not disappoint, with great customer service from Khari (great guy), shrimp and grits, and the nastiest chicken and gravy. This place is worth all the hype and the 30 minutes we waited in line for. The only issue I had was with the prices being too high, like 6 biscuits for $24 is a little outrageous. But when your food is that good, I guess you can do that. read more

Just landed in Nashville visiting from Florida and this was my first stop! I was alittle nervous because the massive lines on TikTok BUT there was no line today! Maybe because it's 8am on a Thursday but I came because the great reviews and let me tell you they are all true. the food was a 10/10 I got the east nasty which is 2 fried tenders on a biscuit with gravy and you can have the option of adding a egg! I didn't but I wish I did haha. I also got a side of potato's and the brown sugar latte which was amazing ! It's made with oat milk too! I def recommend this spot for a quick little amazing breakfast! read more

My experience took a turn when I requested to sit indoors. Initially Initially, we were seated on the patio and the area was surrounded by flies and an unpleasant odor from the back alley trash. We politely asked to be moved inside, but I could sense the staff's annoyance. They almost seemed unwilling to bring our order to the dining room and keep in mind we just sat down. When we received our food. I was very disappointed with the portion. My plate was half empty and it was the smallest omelette that I've ever had at a restaurant. I was in Nashville looking for a quick lunch around 11:30am on a weekday. Biscuit love seems to have a ton of reviews so I decided to for it a try. When you enter, you go through the cashier to place your order. The process is pretty efficient given how busy this place can get. Once you place your order, they give you a table number and you can find a place. The service was fast, but the services were not too friendly. I chose to sit at the bar. I got the bonuts, the princess biscuit sandwich and the iced oat coffee latte. I definitely over ordered because there was no way I was going to finish all those bonuts, they come in order of 5s but you can take them to go. The bonuts were absolutely delicious. They were hot, not too oversweet and I have no regrets getting them to have more for later. The biscuit sandwich was OK. The chicken tenders with the spicy and honey sauce was a great combo but I wasn't a fan of their biscuits. The oil also had soaked into the biscuits which wasn't too appetizing. The pickles that it came with were absolutely delicious, they weren't your regular pickles, they tasted amazing. The coffee was $6 and wasn't worth the hype, I should have ordered a regular iced or hot coffee. Overall, cute place, chicken was good but the bonuts were the star of the show. Will definitely be back for hot bonuts with some hot coffee. read more

Came here for brunch since Biscuit Love was on my list to try and it wasn't that far from our hotel. The line does get long and can feel a lot longer in the sun. We waited probably 30-45 minutes. Once we got into the restaurant, there is a line inside to order our food. The staff gave us our order number and seated us to our table after we ordered. So make sure you know what you want to order beforehand. Once we were seated, the staff brought out our food once it was ready. I ordered a bloody mary and asked them to make it spicy. The bloody mary was good and the garnish was very delicious. It had a good spicy kick to it. I wish they would sell their garnish in a bottle. I would definitely buy a few. We also ordered soda and it was a bottle and not from a soda fountain. It makes sense since it reduces the staff from needing to stop by the table. My youngest son ordered orange juice and it's very fresh. My son isn't use to the fresh squeezed flavor where it's not very sweet and has a lot of pulp. Water is served in a water jug on each side of the restaurant with cups. So it is self serve. I don't eat this early so I opted for their donuts. It was not sweet at all. The cream cheese topping and the berries gave it a really good balance. My wife ordered the omelette and enjoyed it. She put a little bit of the gravy from my son's plate and really liked the mix. My older son ordered the princess chicken sandwich. He liked the chicken but wasn't use to the biscuit. He then dipped it in the gravy and it gave it more flavor. My youngest son ordered the east nasty with egg. The gravy was really good but my son preferred his meal to be smothered with the gravy. Next time we will order extra gravy on the side. The gravy is really good. The gravy has minced sausage in it which gave it more flavor. We added black pepper to add a little kick. Overall, the place is good. But the wait in the sun did kill the experience a little. The seating arrangement was decent where we did have some space to walk without really bumping into those that are seated to get to our table or when we leave or getting our water. The staff rarely comes which makes sense since we order and pay up front before we get seated. The food is good if you don't mind the wait. Give this place a try if you are nearby but I don't think it's worth driving out of the way if you are not close to their restaurant. read more
Two of us and our pup came here on a Thursday morning. It was relatively busy, but not super busy. We shared the southern Benedict and a large orange juice. I think this is the best biscuit we've ever had! It was moist and flaky, which I prefer over the crumbly kind. It was smothered in gravy, with two eggs and topped with ham. The dish was big enough for both of us to be stuffed! We ended on a sweet note with the complimentary biscuit donuts. It was on a bed of blueberry compote and whipped mascarpone. This whole dish was delish and was the perfect ending. The compote was sweet with a slight tang from the blueberries. The mascarpone had lemon zest which ties in everything very well. Glad I got to try this! We sat outside since we had our pup, but they are dog friendly! The patio is more of a pop-up canopy than a permanent covered patio. We didn't mind, but just FYI. read more

Overall: Good breakfast spot, I could see why this is a go-to spot in the Gulch. One of those "you have to go to say you've been there" places. - Got the egg plate; highlight was definitely the biscuit with jam/grits. Also got a dirty chai, super yummy ($8 though). As a popular/tourist-y spot, you can expect the prices to match.. Service: Staff is very kind, food came out promptly (coffee took a little longer). I came on a weekday morning, so service was really quick. From what I know, Fridays / weekends can get pretty busy. Ambiance: Super cute, and lots of Nashville themed decor! read more
This place proved to be a pleasant experience for brunch! I had some friends who had tried Biscuit Love in a different town, and glad they recommended this spot. It had a fast casual vibe with paying and ordering up front, then picking your seat. They have restrooms for patrons and a little shop for folks to buy things. Service was outstanding from the guy who took our order he was friendly and welcoming and good service too from to the girl who was running the food out. I enjoyed my Iced Chai, Spicy Tenders, and the Biscuits were fluffy crisp goodness smothered in gravy. I'd definitely return back here next time I'm in town! read more

Y'all! Let's get started! Where to begin Biscuits Love is a staple. If you come to Nashville you must try their famous East Nasty! Buttery Warm Fresh Flakey Biscuits with outstanding flavor of sausage gravy and cheddar cheese. I also had the Hungry Hash Bowl! If you are hungry come here. You will leave very satisfied. So many options to choose from. If you are undeceive no problem their menus say which plates are Most liked! Easy to choose don't stress close your eyes and enjoy! I also had a fresh orange juice but my hubby drank it! I ordered my lavender latte! Let's talk about the service excellent. Kind staff, very attentive and helpful! Ambiance time OMG! Walk up ordering process with cute mockup shop apparel & goods to buy They seat you with a number We ordered two varieties of biscuit dishes and both came with sausage gravy. Not a big fan of gravy but this was delicious! I ordered a latte with a spritz of caramel and that was also delicious & my hubby ordered the bloody Mary with olives and celery & okra! If you don't come when they open be prepared to wait in line (outside); however, it's well worth the wait. Extremely very delicious. Long lines but it moves fast and ordering at the counter makes it easy for big groups to coordinate. Biscuits are crazy flaky, and you can't go wrong with a fried chicken sandwich - both of the ones here are delicious. Only disappointment was the Bonuts - these are a tender biscuit, not the same flaky ones used for sandwiches, and they just were not great. read more
I heard biscuits are a thing in Nashville and some locals confirmed that Biscuit Love at the Gulch was the spot to check out and we were not disappointed! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and introduced to the menu with recommendations including some off menu special items. The biscuits are so buttery and crispy, and everything came out hot and tasty. The BRoll was the best cinnamon bun I've ever had. And the brown sugar iced tea was also super good. The whole spot is so welcoming, bright and cute! And the staff is so friendly and helpful. Parking in the lot across the street was free for the first hour. read more
Date of visit: March 14, 2025 This was our first meal in Nashville after an early flight and it was a great way to start our trip to Music City out right. The space is bright and open, which some very cool wall art and decorations that give it a nice, local feel. It's counter service and our cashier was friendly though we did find out later that the menu is not 100% accurate in terms of what comes on and with the food, which is surprising and disappointing in 2025 given food allergies and sensitivities... The food itself was very good; my eggs benedict was excellent, and the coffee was strong but tasty. Getting a refill on my coffee was a bit of a chore, given the counter service setup here, but once I flagged someone down and scored some more cream, I was back in business! read more

Is there lard in the biscuits?
I am pretty sure it has lard or at least a proportion of lard and any other fat because not only can you taste it but the biscuits flakier and crusty, something that a lard can very well achieve over other fats

Is it busy on Friday mornings? I've tried to go on weekend days and it's impossible to get in. My friend and I are going to try this Friday!
It's busy everyday because it's a popular stopping place in the gulch. Get there super early to still wait in line. You can also order ahead and pick up to go order to eat the food.
Can you get a brunch cocktail (bloody mary, mimosa) while waiting in line?
We can't serve you alcohol while you wait in line. Liquor laws prohibit us from doing so.

We are typically open on Labor Day. The only days we aren't open are Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and Easter.
Is this restaurant dog friendly?

Do they serve bottomless mimosas or is it that much for one?
They don't do bottomless mimosas unfortunately
Is there any kind of substitute for the sausage gravy like a plain country gravy that could be subbed in?
Hi Farah, we don’t have a plain gravy and the only other gravy we have is a tomato gravy.
Do they have sweet options like butter and honey with biscuit? Or apple butter with biscuit?
We have butter, honey (both regular and hot), usually two or three jams and we also have an apple butter we serve with our pork chops you're welcome to ask for!
Are there any substitutes for the meat?
Hi Ashley! While we don't have any meat substitutes, there are lots of menu options either are meatless or can be made without meat. Just ask the person at the register when you are ordering what the best options are and they will be happy to help!
Are dogs allowed? I have a registered Emotional Therapy Dog.
Service animals are allowed everywhere under the ADA. Emotional support/therapy/companion animals are not covered under ADA, so I would call Biscuit Love directly to ask.
