Sorry can't give a glowing review. Appreciated their lower-than-most gas price, but any pump that says "see clerk inside for receipt" deserves a ZERO in my book. As a disabled person, I can barely pump independently, would need to repark, get out the wheelchair and go in and get it. Assistance for the disabled is a farce--they're too busy. Gas poured very slowly as well. Noisy station and have to be very careful around the pumps and exiting for fast cars who aren't. read more

Never been to this Thornton's gas station before when I was out and about last night so I decided to stop in for gasoline for my mother's Ford Edge. Some of the gasoline machines wasn't working last night when I arrived but there was no sign stating this machine is out of order so I went inside and spoke to the night attendant then thats where he told me some are offline/closed and some are open I did say please put a sign on the gasoline machine that states Out Of Order the attendant said he will have done after he finishes the other customers. This Thorton's has all gasoline's from 87, 89, 93 and E85 Flex Fuel. They offer coffee, flavor hot coco, water, sodas, beer, chips and other classic snacks for your snack time hunger for your drive home or out on the road. Trust me I've been to most of these gas stations around here in the Brandon/Valrico area some are very nice and some are very poor looking sorry to say but they look very old and out dated. I go to this gas station/convenient store every time I leave town to the east coast. Their premium fuel prices are usually better than anywhere else. They have a lot of bays/pumps so I never have to wait to fuel up and their store is large with a lot of variety. They have a reward program, I ought to consider joining. The employees are always nice, the place appears to be pretty clean. Haven't checked out the restrooms (yet) but one day, I'm sure I will. I hope they are maintained as well as the rest of the place. The one thing I have to say is that their food options are not fantastic...if I leave on a Friday after work, I am eating dinner on the road....I don't want to eat something disgusting, but something somewhat nutritional would be appreciated. read more

It's not a Wawa but I liked it better than Racetrac and the price on gas was the same and they had a better food selection and with a loyalty card a lot of BOGO deals!!!!!! Right now the sodas are free. That meant a lot of cheap skates came in and made long lines getting...you guessed it....FREE SODA!!!! At least I got gas and a bite to eat!! I hope they come to Hernando County. Be nice to see Racetrac and Circle K and Wawa and Thorntons duke it out!!!!! We will all save money!!!! read more

I love Thornton gas station. I always receive excellent and prompt customer service. I've visited many of their locations and they always have a clean interior and exterior. I've joined their reward program and also downloaded their app. With the app you receive freebies all year round and occasionally snag a .06 discount on gas per gallon the usual discount for reward members is .03 off per gallon of gas. There are other perks like any size coffee for members of .99 (price may vary by location). I've never thought to use Thornton because it's a name I was not familiar with but they have been opening up a lot more locations in the Tampa Bay Area. read more

Being a relatively new location, the pumps are in good working order and the store itself is clean. They have a good selection of drinks and snacks. The staff is courteous. On the negative side, the prepared foods aren't kept as fresh as I would like, the doughnuts have had a stale taste on the occasions I've had them, and the lines can get quite long at the checkout counter. read more

Why am I required to ask the cashier for a bag, Kyle!? You are the reason for 1 star. Everyone else there is pleasant & friendly. And, did they teach you to say "thank you" because, all I received was your back AFTER I had to ask for a bag & you took like 50 effin seconds to opening the bag & put 3 items in. Really? Well to review this Gas Station 1 week after it opened is pretty premature, but heres how it is so far. So far it is a packed station, people in and out..its like a Wal-Mart..for now. They have Free drink for 4 weeks and gas started at 3.29 the first day while RaceTrac and Walmart are at 3.38. Lasted and week and went down 1 cent today. The interior is clean and all new, yogurt machine, lots frozen icee machine and coffee a plenty. There is a variety of hot dogs and roller grilled food available. They also accept AMEX and have E85 gas! My only complaint is the lot is kind of small and becomes a hassle entering and leaving, other wise so far so good. read more
