Had never been b4 so we had to get an understanding of how things work. We took a seat, and grabbed a menu, as there were no hosts. We picked out our choices and headed to the register. The cashier was pleasant and helpful. We ordered: 1. The Frenchie add Sausage 2. Briskey Business no pickle with home fries 3. Bonuts with cream cheese and berry jam, fried green tomatoes with ranch and cheesy grits. We wanted mimosas but were informed they didn't have a liquor license yet so we couldn't get anything with alcohol. Bummer. Instead we settled for 2 brown sugar Shakens. Our order came out fairly quickly. The presentation was better than the taste. We realized it was near closing time (3p) but the food quality still should've been as tho they just opened. The grits were dry, the fried green tomatoes were extra crispy and the bonuts were hard. The cream cheese icing was delicious as were the brown sugar shakens. The French toast was underwhelming and the brisket came with the pickles even tho we didn't asked for them. The customer service far outweighed the food. The staff was really accommodating. The bathrooms were clean and very cutely decorated. All in all a good visit, it's just we left still hungry. Would return, after they obtain their license to serve alcohol and earlier in the shift. Didn't get any names to personalize this review, as no one had on a name tag. We learned they have only been open for 3 weeks so we give them grace and time to get it together. I had a Texas melt with a side of pancakes and my wife had a breakfast burrito. My Texas melt was good. I appreciate that they let you build your own, but could be helpful if they have some recommended combos. The "not so short" short stack was huge for a side! Two massive pancakes. Can easily be shared with a table of 4 if everyone wants to try the pancakes. They're really good. My wife's burrito was awesome. The avocado went really well with whatever else she put in there.
