It's the neighborhood meeting place for miles around, and there "the liar's club" gathers for breakfast. That's a group of elderly war veterans (WWII, Korea, Vietnam) who sit around and talk. The conversation is friendly, animated and covers everything from taxes to television. Listening is like being in a time machine, and it's an amazing, wonderful experience.
