I wish we lived closer to Engine House because their iced mocha and donuts were sooo good. The coffee shop was really cozy and the staff were really friendly. We also got some of the coffee beans to take home and definitely need to go back to get some more.

Excellent and friendly service, delicious coffee, and cool ambiance. A comfortable place to be and do some writing. I love the decor. A local told me that this is the best coffee shop in town and I believe it. Perfect location on Main Street in downtown Frankfort. I really enjoyed my cafe au lait, and my boyfriend loved his iced hibiscus berry tea. I tried a few sips of his drink and it was so refreshing. I wish I had more time in Frankfort. I would have definitely returned to this sweet spot.

A little Halloween decorations to celebrate the season.

This is an old firehouse converted into a cute coffee shop. Piping hot coffee and a bright and airy interior makes this a popular spot. Let's not forget the courteous service which is a major plus. It's street parking only but we were able to find a close spot nearby(free of course).

Happy birthday to me! Today's birthday plan is a family reunion on the bourbon trail, but my brother had me start off my day with a latte from EHC near our hotel. Delicious!

New locally owned coffee shop in town. It's open and airy in here. The decor includes a history of the fire station engine house originally housed in here. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The open garage type door is providing a nice breeze. The iced chai is tasty.

Cutest little coffee shop in Frankfort. Stopped by when we were visiting for the bourbon trail. Wouldn't have thought to pair blueberry and lavender together but it made a great combo in my iced latte.

Friendly barista at 6 am! Coffee was delicious. Got a large and didn't need to add xtra shots because it came with four! Nice and strong.

Niki's…read moreHungarian heritage and her world history studies really enhanced the tour because of her vast knowledge of the long history of the distillery. She was genuinely a kind person. That kindness, along with her vast knowledge of the history of Buffalo Trace, made it a wonderful and worthwhile afternoon.

Their tours are free, which is very nice and unexpected! Especially given how nice the facility is and how well they do the tour and the tastings. All top-notch! Our tour guide was named Jay. He was kind of a low-key , laid back dude but he tried hard to entertain everyone. We were not able to get into one of the barrel rooms, but that was not his fault. Apparently they were in the middle of trying to fix something. But he was able to pivot and keep our tour going and keep it fun. The tasting was done very well. Everyone chose their favorite. We went to the on-site gift and liquor store before our tour and after and everyone working there have been trained well and were very friendly and helpful and accommodating. They have several items there that we cannot get around the area we live in and you may not have in your area either- so take advantage of buying it while you are there at the distillery. Highly recommend this tour!
