I say expected because everything is automated. You have many things to watch and read. When you go through the process they read it to you anyway to make sure you know what's going on. Everyone was nice and informative. You have to have nice and plump veins in order to donate. I was in and out. On your first couple of times being there they tell you to just cut the line. It's a courtesy. I spoke with someone was "in front of me" and they knew. However, everyone there is trying to make some money. Interesting experience. No trouble. Obviously no pictures because of their policy.

If they do let people know, It's on a piece of paper at the office but if you get out of work at 5 and you plan to get there at 6 because they close at 7, you won't know that until you arrive. The gas is already wasted, the time is already wasted. they close early on Saturdays around 2pm, but lately they have been closed in general on Saturdays. There are a lot of people who donate because they enjoy donating, but they also need the money. They are able to put out a notification on the CSL plasma app. They do that occasionally but nowhere near enough. The service is fast when Kevin is working, and Ten was really cool, but she left. There are definitely a few people here that are incredibly nice and take care of you fast and efficiently. The phlebotomist in the back are nice and fast. I never really have a problem. They just need to fix their hours and hire more employees.

However, the first time I went a year ago I expected it to take a long time for all the examinations and that was 4+ hours, at the time new comers did NOT get to skip to the beginning of the line but got a fast pass express card for the their SECOND visit only. I had to go back to school then got a piercing then a tattoo etc so ended up being about a year before I could safely go back since I wanted to start going frequently. Upon arrival these cards are no longer used there I am told and it's tossed so I shrugged and moved on it's not the lady at the fronts fault if that's policy and I think it makes sense to be discontinued but someone who had it should definitely be used since (I had to re do some medical stuff from not being there in a while so it was going to be a longer trip again I found out but didn't think it would be that bad) in the line for the vitals which is what the express pass for second visits would've allowed you to skip. It should've been 30 ish mins because I timed it and I was at the front but 4-5 people got to cut to the front since they were FIRST timers so instead I was in this line over an hour never gotten to have skipped any lines on my first OR second visit lol. So thinking I had the pass going in was rough since I had someone in the car with me that had to wait outside but they came because we thought it'd be quicker but instead I was inside for over 4+ hours again. So disappointing they don't do anything to help when the policy changes before I can use a pass having to not make use of the policy the first time I was there since it didn't exist lol! Now that I'm medically caught up in their system i will return, now, I live 40 mins away I should say so when it's 4+ hours each visit it's actually close to 6 so I will go once more now that I shouldn't have to do any extra stuff to donate besides the VS etc, but if it takes close to 3 hours or 4 AGAIN as I suspect when it should be 2 ish I will probably not be able to go back . Anyways 80% of the staff are great except a few people who definitely are rude for no reason lol but the way it's run and the policy may be to blame so we will see and I will update if it changes.
