This is hands down the best Ulta I've been to! I just came in as a rather clueless makeup user and got such amazing help from Ashley! She helped color match me and then gave me a list of recommendations for the various products I was looking for. She gave me options that ranged in price too which was super considerate! I also got tons of help from the Cashier named Victoria. At one point I looked around and there were at least five different workers helping various customers all throughout the store. The store, products, and staff at this location are excellent. However, I only give one star for the salon service. My sister and I each had a keratin treatment worth $202, but after just one wash, our hair became frizzy, wavy, and looked like we hadn't undergone any treatment at all. We received a call after two weeks asking about how we felt about the treatment, and I mentioned that it felt like we never had the treatment. She did them in Feb then because of lockdown, I FINALLY was able to get them done. But they didn't need much work. They always are in masks & cleaning so lovely. Always a fave. Lots of items in store but beware during holiday season bc those shelves go fast! I only get my brows done here by Kristy and LOVE them every time! They fill in your brows, cover the redness, and walk you through how they shape them so you know exactly how much they are taking off. I enjoy this because I like to keep my brows thick. Stopped in to Ulta Beauty at the Jefferson Valley Mall this evening. Walked in and was immediately greeted by 2 lovely ladies. I needed assistance with some new makeup brushes & eyeshadows, Marissa helped me, she was so knowledgeable in both areas she guided me to make my own palette so I could get just the shades I wanted....brilliant!!!! At the register they offered to sign me up for a free event coming next month on skin care & even gave me some samples of that line. I have shopped at other Ulta's before, but tonight's experience certainly surpassed any of those. I will definitely make many return visits to this location. A+ experience. read more

Went to JV mall Ulta beauty to purchase Bare mineral powder , online says 20 percent off for online and store purchases. Inside the store there is a sign that says 20 percent off , but the manager refused to give the percent off . The sales person on the floor told the manager there is a sign displayed , after a lengthy conversation the manager agreed to give me the percentage off , and replied , " The sale was over yesterday ". Beware of any percentage off and if displayed on line , pull it it up on your phone before you get to the register . read more

The store, Ulta, is great but my salon experience wasn't so great. I have thin curly hair and the hairdresser looked at me like I had 10 heads when I walked in. It was $30 for a blowout. The blowout took over an hour. She told me she had just graduated from school and was still learning. My hair was not flat at all. I had to go home and finish doing it myself. It would have been an extra $10 to use a flat iron. When I go to other dry bars, they don't even use a flat iron. I wouldn't recommend a blow out here. read more

Went with my sister to help find her some concealer. Asked one of the employees if there was someone to help match her skin tone and we were told that everyone was gone for the day. The next minute we looked someone was helping another customer that walked in after us, which we felt was a bit odd when we came in before her. When I approached her she was snotty and seemed annoyed with my question saying that she was busy so I told her ok that's fine can I just step out for five minutes I'll be right back and she said that's fine. I was a bit weary heading into Ulta yesterday seeming it had no Yelp reviews-but I'm a risk taker and live on the edge so I gave it a shot-ha! Much to my delight I was greeted by Jelitza, whose hair and make-up made me confident already that she'd do a good job. I hadn't had a haircut in like 8 months, it was pretty uncute-I went in there looking to take a few inches off my hair and incorporate long layers and a feminine side swept bang. Jelitza did a good job making me feel comfortable and worked with my hair with much patience. I usually run across hairdressers that lose it quick with my hair as long as it is (almost down to my tush) and text their bf's on their cellphone or whatever but this girl took her time and did it right-I walked out of there totally transformed with voluminous gorgeous silky hair-awesomeeee! Not to mention, people around here charge by length-they look at my hair and start at $50 bucks-screw that! You're cutting the same amount of hair long or short-HELLO!! The shampoo, condition, cut and voluminous curl blowdry cost me all of $31 w/o tip. Yea, I think i'll be going back for one kickass blowout. read more

I was here on Saturday to get my makeup done. The staff was extremely friendly- but unfortunately the individual that did my make up make my completed makeup look like a 10 year old did it. I had to go home and take it all off and do it my self. My eye liner was uneven- it was thicker in one eye compared to the other. The winged part of the eye liner looked like it was done by a beginner, and the lipstick was not put on the corner of my lips so it looked silly. It was definitely a waste of $60. read more

I was so excited to see when ULTA was coming to my area!! I went as soon as they opened a couple months ago and to my dismay, I was quickly disappointed. Obviously all the wonderful beauty products are always top notch, but the staff, I wish I could the same for! They are grumpy, rude, dismissive and unprofessional! It's very upsetting to deal with such terrible customer service at a store that has such awesome things. I even overheard two other customers talking to each other in the aisle next to me saying how rude the staff is here. This is very sad and I wish things could be different considering it's a fairly new store in a popular mall and many people shop here. I got my brows done by Kristy about two and a half weeks ago. Normally I have to go to the nail salon every two weeks to get them done because my hair grows like crazy. Since getting my brows done at the brow bar, I can push my appointment! It's crazy what going to someone who knows what their doing does! It's expensive, yeah but totally worth it.
