Love love love this place! Literally just walked out after having my brows and lip threaded and yes it does hurt but honestly the pain is worth the end result! I have thick eyebrows and the hairs are very thick and long so threading them proves to be the most precise way to shape them. And for $18 for both lip and brows, it's a steal! There used to be an older lady (I think owner) that worked here and she was super sweet and did a great job. The last few times I've come some other lady has been working here and I find her to be pretty rude. She's made faces when I ask for threading, today when I came in and asked to be threaded, she said her arms hurt so she couldn't take me. Since she's the only one working, I had to leave. She did the first eyebrow very well, but messed up the second one so badly that it's noticeably thinner than the other one. I wish I had not gone. My eyebrows are uneven now and I will have to let them grow back fully before I can fix them which will take over a month. read more

The place itself is bright, clean and spacious, 2-3X the size of most threading places in Cambridge and Somerville. The owner, Shanti, is very kind and skilled. Me and my friend went here to get our eyebrows threaded. We usually have our salons that we typically go to but this one came up on yelp and there were so many great reviews and the $8 dollar deal. We decided to give it and try and he lady was very friendly. She asked how I wanted the brows done, and I told her specifically just to clean and touch up . I finished and saw but didn't look too long, and said okay thanks, paid and left. My friend was complaining about how uneven and weirdly shaped they were but I was over here thinking like no mine are good while disregarding her complaints. I get back into the car and thoroughly check what they look like, AND THEY WERE TOTALLY BAD! They were thick and she completely changed the shape of my brows when really all I asked for was for it to be cleaned. They looked like a mans eyebrow with the arch being totally off. Even people at work and others pointed out how uneven they looked. It took me a month to regrow my brows and go back to my usual salon. read more

Went to Threading Studio today to get my brows done and I was so impressed! I was very nervous since it was my first time getting my brows done at a new place and I will definitely be returning. Walked-in midday on a Monday and was taken right away, I'm sure it is busier later in the day and on weekends though. Santi was so welcoming and did my eyebrows gentler than what I am used to which was a nice surprise, even offering me breaks if I wanted. $10 is less than what I am used to paying and definitely worth it.
