Since F was in Phoenixville on business, I figured I could dash in and check to see if it was still there. When we got to the door there was a sign up saying the store was closed for inventory....oh no I was so disappointed BUT the lovely lady inside saw me peeking in and opened the door. I told her my story and she was so kind and gracious to let me in as long as "I didn't mind the mess". Alas, the dress was nowhere to be found (my fault for not snatching it up when I had the chance). The co-owner even called her partner while I was there to see if she knew the location of the dress. I love when someone goes above and beyond what is expected in order to help a customer. Kudos to you Lulu...I will be back.

Diving Cat is a seriously eclectic, funky, new-age-y, hippie store with lots of cool jewelry, home items, art, candles, soaps, perfumes, statues, even mobiles and prisms. The store does a very good job grouping items by category - Namaste and Yoga in one area, Judacia in another, items related to cats, items related to dogs, mystical items, etc. Yeah, just my kind of place. The store has a good deal of inventory and it's not very large, but it's not uncomfortable unless it's very crowded. They even have "Honey" seats outside for partners who are waiting for the other to finish oohing and aahing. Staff were nice, unobtrusive but helpful when needed. I got some very delicious smelling perfume in a steampunk - cool flask and a badass name (OK badass for a mid-life Main Line Mom). It's in 'downtown' Phoenixville, on the same block as the Colonial Theater. Parking is street and tight, better to find a lot just off the 'main drag' and walk. That is the problem. it was so open I couldn't find anyone to help service it. I walked around. looked at things. A couple came around, looked at things. Not only did no one ask if I needed help, I didn't see anyone there. The couple noticed it too, I called out 'hello?' but there was no response. We all shrugged and ambled off.
