Since F was in Phoenixville on business, I figured I could dash in and check to see if it was still there. When we got to the door there was a sign up saying the store was closed for inventory....oh no I was so disappointed BUT the lovely lady inside saw me peeking in and opened the door. I told her my story and she was so kind and gracious to let me in as long as "I didn't mind the mess". Alas, the dress was nowhere to be found (my fault for not snatching it up when I had the chance). The co-owner even called her partner while I was there to see if she knew the location of the dress. I love when someone goes above and beyond what is expected in order to help a customer. Kudos to you Lulu...I will be back.

Also with a name like Diving Cat Studio what the store is is a bit oblique...is it a pet store? A gallery? OK, go with it. Yeah, they were spot-on. Diving Cat is a seriously eclectic, funky, new-age-y, hippie store with lots of cool jewelry, home items, art, candles, soaps, perfumes, statues, even mobiles and prisms. The store does a very good job grouping items by category - Namaste and Yoga in one area, Judacia in another, items related to cats, items related to dogs, mystical items, etc. Yeah, just my kind of place. The store has a good deal of inventory and it's not very large, but it's not uncomfortable unless it's very crowded. They even have "Honey" seats outside for partners who are waiting for the other to finish oohing and aahing. Staff were nice, unobtrusive but helpful when needed. I got some very delicious smelling perfume in a steampunk - cool flask and a badass name (OK badass for a mid-life Main Line Mom). It's in 'downtown' Phoenixville, on the same block as the Colonial Theater. Parking is street and tight, better to find a lot just off the 'main drag' and walk. I loved how they decorated as well. The two women working were great. They were helpful to another customer and at times myself. They did engage in conversation at times as well.

The clothing is pretty eclectic and they have a diverse range of things from accessories to shoes to tops and jeans. An awesome burnt orange jacket caught my eye and I just had to try it on! In the fitting room, there was actually a sign "Selfies Welcome!" and a list of their facebook and twitter you can post to which I thought was pretty cool. Long story short, I ended up loving the jacket and can't wait to wear it as part of my new fall wardrobe!

The store is always well organized, easy to browse, and full of great finds at amazing prices. Whether you're looking for clothing, home goods, or a last-minute gift, there's always something worth picking up. The team is consistently helpful and hardworking, keeping everything running smoothly even during busy times. It's clear that strong management plays a huge role in creating such a positive, efficient environment. I also have a unique appreciation for this store because I had the opportunity to work here, and I can say the management and team are some of the best. I was in between moving states and, as a therapist, it wouldn't have been ethical to take on new clients during that transition, so working in retail helped hold me over--and I'm so grateful it was at Ross. This is an average size for a Ross store. They all seem to be the same dimensions, or at least set up in a way it appears the same. The difference is they had multiple of the same items available in each size unlike other stores they are generally a one off. Although I was unable to get a raincoat, which was my mission, I purchased several items that I'm quite pleased with. Would I return? YES.

I see nothing wrong with what I witnessed. Parents don't do their jobs, then store owners must step in. I would love to visit Ellie's shop more. If you go during the week you might luck out with free two hour parking in the afternoon. She mentioned there is parking lot close to the store for 25 cents an hour. Unfortunately due to the parking issues I avoid Phoenixville the majority of the time. Too bad because there are some stores and restaurants I enjoy.
