    Lemon icebox

This is a super cute restaurant next to a feed shop. The decor is creative and homey, and the waitress was very friendly. The back of the restaurant is colorful and decorated with metal large lawn ornaments. There is a fenced off area with sheep, goats and chicken. The buffalo chicken sandwich was fresh and well seasoned. The portion size was fair. The frito pie and the chili cheese taters tots were yummy. The lemon icebox pie was quite sweet, but it was a nice ending to an overall satisfying meal. My diagnosis: whimsical restaurant and feed shop worth checking out!

If you ever find yourself in Texarkana (like on a roadtrip from Houston to Hot Springs, AR) you need to make a stop here. It's not only a great restaurant, but a store with feed, seed, and cool gifts. They have live animals in the back and fun decor for random photos with family and friends. This review is mainly about the restaurant experience. The service was great - a perfect example of Southern hospitality. The ambiance was super unique with the decor and options to chill outside with the animals. The food was quite delicious. I ordered a Jim's salad because I was in the mood for Buffalo chicken but also something healthy. The lettuce was fresh and crispy. The croutons were also mouth-watering. Portion size was huge. The chicken bacon ranch sandwich also hit the spot. Portion size was impressive and flavors overall were spot on. Lastly, the lemon icebox was the perfect way to finish the meal. For the price, it was a high value meal! I highly recommend you to check this place out. It's called Three Chicks because of the 3 owners who left their jobs at a country club to start this business. (It's not a chicken place which is what I originally thought). Also you may want to call ahead and check the hours. I went on a Wednesday for lunch and saw that they close at 2:30 pm and then reopen for dinner. The actual hours are not what this Yelp page shows.

Cowboy burger, with onion rings & a Cheeseburger with maybe the best French fries I've ever eaten. Btw, the burgers were delicious as well!

Quirky, country cool cafe. Excellent burger, friendly staff. We got there within 15 minutes of closing the cafe and they took care of us.

Really neat country atmosphere. We ate outside near the farm animals. Like being back on the farm. Burgers were delicious. I had sweet onion burger and my husband had the cowboy burger. Off the interstate a ways but worth the detour

I was looking for a restaurant that would be able to accommodate a party of 18 for lunch (Dillard University Volleyball from New Orleans, LA). I found Three Chicks, called and they were more than happy to host us. When we arrived everything was already set up for us. Everyone was so friendly. My players were able to get close to all the animals and allowed to be big kids and play in the bounce houses as well. No complaints about any of the food and dessert that was ordered. Great experience and a place that all ages will feel like a kid again!

Lovely cafe serving up Sandwiches with Smiles. The menu has a wide variety of eclectic sandos to pick from, and I doubt you'd go wrong with any of them. The food tastes thoughtfully prepared, Buns are toasted, Sauces are homemade, vegetables aren't precut supermarket stuffs. Really was a treat. The ladies working there were so attentive and cheery. Made us feel special, even as we showed up 35mins before they closed up for the day. After a long day of driving they made it easy for us with a baby to enjoy a meal. Seating outside was dog friendly as well, convenient as we were road-tripping with the doggo. Plenty to look at with the chickens and goats for the kids. A friendly cat or 2 also may come up for some scratches. They also have some doggies in the feed store. So happy we made the small detour to visit.

Great bump in the road!! Three chicks offered an amazing lunch, great scenery, and fun entertainment! Beware the attack Turkey! He's my favorite! Try the FRITO PIE!! All the way! Cowboy candy is delicious and the salads are phenomenal!

Philly Cheesesteak with red peppers - no green. Tasty coleslaw.

All of their food is delicious! The only thing I would change is fountain drinks instead of canned drinks.

Quaint (in the good way) decor, colorful garden just outside, and the sound of chickens and goats playing nearby make for a festive and interesting ambience.

We have been searching for some good liquid weed and feed for my 25 gallon tow behind sprayer. My house was built on a pasture and I'm trying to get rid of the weeds and Mexia and had called the big companies who wanted a fortune to do it. So I started going to Tractor Supply, they recommended this stuff that wasn't worth crap, Lowe's, Home Depot and Atwood had no clue what to use and if it would kill my existing grass, Bermuda. So we stopped back in at Texas Country Farm Supply and discussed our options with them. They went out of their way to make us feel like a part of their team. They called their distributor and asked for guidance. Walked us through the process. Discussed the different stickers weeds that we were dealing with too. They may not have everything that the big box stores have, but from now on, our first stop is here and if they don't have it, then we'll go out further. Oh, and they have a UPS drop location there too, lol. Love their value and customer service.

I have never had to treat respiratory issues. Both ladies listened and gave their opinions. They helped me decide exactly what I needed to purchase. I couldn't believe how quickly the products arrived. I also got a text from Silver Horse letting me know to expect the stuff a day early! Everything was wrapped and packed so that nothing could be damaged. Best of all according to my husband......was the price. I looked all over the internet and the nebulizers and compressors were sky high. This is not the case with Silver Horse. My vet has me treating my mini twice a day. The products I purchased worked great. I couldn't be happier. So, to make a long story short, if you want a quality product reasonably priced with excellent support Silver Horse is the place to go.
