I can't say enough about this place, the people, inside & outside, it's simply what the doctor would order if she/her would tell you to take it easy. The food is outstanding! I love their Soups, Club sandwiches, Burgers, Salads, You gotta get there early to get any Chicken & Dumplings, so what does that tell you?.! The thing that impressed me the most, you'll see at least one of the three chicks out in the backyard or working behind the register, maybe helping bus tables. What a darling little place! The servers were so friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. During the time of social distancing this was a fun way to sit outside in nature and be entertained by the animals. Side note--no animal smells to ruin your food! India was our server and she was ridiculously kind and helpful. My wife and I asked what her favorites are, to which she replied "the Philly steak quesadilla and the chicken caprese sandwich." They were AWESOME! We all got a side of fries, which were also incredible. The chef puts some kind of seasoning salt mixed with sugar...it's hard to describe, it's just good. We topped it off with the lemon meringue pie, and left full, and extremely satisfied with the service, food, and atmosphere. We even pet the turkey before heading out. Do NOT pass this restaurant up if coming into Texarkana. We'll be back during our stay to try even more items from the menu. read more

It's a little off the beaten path, but well worth the detour! The cafe is next to a feed store, and at first I couldn't tell where to go in! Surprise! All seating is outdoors! This is the ONLY reason I did not give 5 stars! :) Even though it's an August morning, it didn't feel too bad! As directed we rang the bell for service and our waitress was right out!!! This is a legit whole in the wall barn....a spot you would never think would be this good. Amazing food with super friendly staff made for a great last minute lunch decision. Cute little place. We got there and weren't really sure we were in the right place. The cafe is inside a feed store which made it unique. The food was good, wait staff were attentive and very nice. I would definitely visit again. Cash if you pay in the store and if you use cc then you have to pay over in the feed store. We were traveling from south MS to OK and looking for somewhere to stop along the way to stretch our legs and maybe grab some lunch. We found this place on Yelp and read the reviews and tried it for ourselves. The reviews were correct!!! The store itself is a neat general store feeling, but the cafe is an experience within itself. The open air atmosphere is so inviting and while waiting for our food, my kids were able to go out and play in a "backyard" kind of area. We had the BBQ pork sandwich, Philly Steak and the Nacho salad and it was all very good!!! We will definitely stop back by if we are ever in the area again. This is open air cafe just one of the cutest places I have ever been to! When you get out of the car the welcoming committee - two dogs and a turkey are on the porch happy as ever to see you. The waitress was really nice and the food was excellent! My husband had the Philly, and the other reviewers are correct, it is out of this world! I think times on google were wrong and thy were closing when we came in but they were happy to feed us. Great people that work there and I really enjoy the atmosphere! Seeing the online reviews I was intrigued by this cafe attached to a feed store. It's charming inside with views of their chickens pecking around outside. I got the patty melt on jalapeño bread; with the thin patty and perfectly grilled onions it was among the best I've ever had. I had ordered chips but I got some accidental onion rings and they were crispy and delicious. My husband got the fried chicken sandwich on sourdough that was slightly sweet and he loved it. Also got a side of chili which was great for dipping fries. I will absolutely go back. I had my mouth fixed for breakfast but they stop serving at 10:30. read more
