Excellent experience- stopped here on a Sunday mid-morning on the way back to Dallas from camping in Arkansas. Entire team was very welcoming and kind. We had our pup with us and they brought her water right away- even offered to make her a chicken breast! Our food was delicious; biscuits and gravy were very good & Goat Chick sandwich with onion rings was perfect. We stop at bars/breweries frequently to and from camping trips when they have patios that will allow for our pup with varying degrees of success, but this will become a regular stop on the way home from AR!

Great pub; with good drinks and atmosphere! Chicken & Waffles were good, and the Chicken Fried Steak was huge & flavorful! Well-stocked bar, and Weekend Brunch fare available if desired. Recommended!!

Best meal we have had in arkansas to date.

Old fashion hamburger was awesome. Very busy place. Comfortable. Felt right at home. Will have a shot of whiskey before I leave

10 piece, garlic Parmesan traditional wings with excellent ranch, celery and carrots

Food was really good, hot and fresh! Lots of cool items on the menu as well. I had the traditional garlic Parmesan wings with celery and carrots. Ranch was delicious and the wet garlic Parmesan sauce was yummy. Hubby had the avocado burger and ate every bite and the fries before I remembered to get a photo. He said it was delicious and he would order it again. The service is very slow and not very attentive so come prepared. We helped ourselves to a seat since no one gave us instructions, helped ourselves to some menus after another 10 minutes, we skipped an appetizer at that point and jumped into our order. Later helped myself to a refill, flagged someone down for our check and a Togo box. It wasn't overly busy so I think it's just their vibe.

A great staple of downtown Texarkana! Rock and roll casual vibe, lots of decor and music, with inside and outside patio seating. Staff was super friendly and recommended *literally everything*. Got the Texas (BBQ) burger which was hot and had a GREAT bun!! Side of sweet potato fries (and tried their reg fries which were awesome). Very extensive menu and fun place.

We stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon. Place was very busy! We stood by the door until we finally asked the waitress if we could just sit anywhere. We order the queso for appetizer, get the ground beef in it. It was good! I had the chicken strips & chips, the chicken was fried a little too long, but overall tasted good. I would get it again. My husband had the burger & onion rings & he said they were good. They have live music sometimes I'm assuming as there is a large stage at one side. Worth a stop if you're ever the area!

Yes, dogs are welcome on the porch

We came here on a long road trip (Texarkana was our overnight), we had our dog with us and looked for spots where he was welcomed. This will not disappoint dog lovers. He was welcome on the porch and served a nice bowl of water! There was plenty of close parking even though it's downtown. We were here on a Friday night and feared it might be packed, but we went early and had no trouble getting a seat. Be aware, however, if you are sitting in the outside space, you will likely be sharing the outdoor space with smokers. Unfortunately we were down wind, which we did not find terribly appetizing. I had read reviews about the burgers so we both got burgers, they did not disappoint! I eat gluten free so I got the avocado burger with no bun. So good! Yes, they do serve wine, it's not the yummiest, but it is an option. Check this place out!

Great bar food, cool atmosphere, good music. Great place to work remotely, and one of the few places open at lunchtime downtown right now.

Best all around food in town. Beer is good and cold. The servers are really nice. Be patient with them, they are always busy.

Decided on the wedge salad and the Baja Tacos. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen but my tacos are delivered to my table BEFORE the salad, when I asked about the salad the lady said it should be out "soon" {sigh}. A few minutes later the salad arrives while I was looking disappointedly at the tacos. I even asked Abby if this was the normal amount of meat provided on the tacos and she said yes...oh well. Salad was OK, a bit drowned in Blue Cheese dressing but it was an OK salad. The tacos...totally missed the mark. They were supposed to be "3 flour tortillas filled with grilled & blackened red fish, topped with slaw and cilantro cream". There was basically one "fish nugget"...inadequate, the "blackened" was more like tanned so no blackened flavors, while the cilantro cream didn't do anything to improve the dish. I guess I could have sent it back but I combined one into the other two to make them a bit more like a meal. Service from Abby was good, but overall not a huge fan of this meal.

Wow, wow, wow! A truly fantastic meal!…read more Our first impressions walking in weren't super great due to an unfriendly hostess, but everything else was amazing. She just stared at us as we walked in, no welcome, and not a single bit of souther hospitality that I expect from a small town establishment. The food was superb, though! My husband and I both ordered the wedge salad and the chicken capres. The chicken was sous-vide with cherry tomatoes, spinach, mozzarella cheese, balsamic glaze, and fresh basil. Plus it was gluten free! Omg, the most tender and juicy chicken I think I've ever had! I chose the grilled okra as my side and I was not disappointed. The Twisted fork is a great, laid-back place for some classic southern-inspired food!

Existing. At first it was cool. I met a couple of young guys. Super nice. Totally normal human interaction. We talked. It was fine. No problems. Excellent. Then they left. And, uh... yeah. Everything got weird. Like... record scratch weird. No bartender came over. No eye contact. No "hey man, what can I get you?" Just a lot of standing and looking past me like I was a ghost or maybe a very calm ghost. I tried to make casual conversation, because that's what people do in bars. And suddenly the room felt tense. Like I had accidentally walked into a staff meeting or a crime scene. At some point it hit me. Oh. They think I'm a cop. Not because I did anything. But because I was standing upright. And sober. And aware. Which, apparently, after 11 pm here is suspicious behavior. For the record, I am not law enforcement. I am just a guy who is cold and trying to hear music. I wasn't kicked out. I wasn't served. I was just... ignored. Like if they pretended I didn't exist long enough, I might fade away. So I left. Nothing dramatic happened. It was just awkward. Uncomfortable. And kind of impressive in a sad way. I walked into a bar and accidentally became a vibe check the place failed itself. This might work great for regulars or a younger crowd earlier in the night. But if you are a grown adult who knows how to behave in public, you may suddenly find yourself labeled "possibly undercover." Party on. I guess.
