By 2:25 PM, no one had shown up. I called and asked what time the technician would arrive and they told me he was about 10 minutes out. I was told I was given a window of time between 1 PM and 3 PM. I was not given a window of time. I was given a specific time of 2 PM. Dakota will not take accountability for her mistakes. She will blame it on the customer. Dakota told me she pulled the call record from our phone call when the appointment was set and that she heard herself give me a window of time. Then in the next sentence told me that outgoing calls are not recorded. So which is it? Spoke with Justin the GM and that didn't go well either. Apparently I was hostile. Well anybody would be hostile if they were called a liar. He does not take feedback about his employees or his business. He will defend them to the end. He says that Dakota is "perfect" at what she does. I am extremely organized so when I have appointments lined up, I know exactly what time I need to be there for that appointment. I know for a fact, I did not make a mistake about my 2 PM appointment. I know for a fact, I was not given any sort of window of time. When talking to Justin, he asked me if I had the call recorded. I explained to him that I am just a customer I shouldn't have to record the calls. But since he is a business, he should have the call recorded. He told me that I am not a customer because I'm just a tenant and my property manager is the customer. He is extremely rude and he does not care about any feedback regarding his office or staff. It seems they think they can treat people however they want if you're just a tenant and not a homeowner. Very disgusting behavior. What I did was remover a ceiling fan and deloped a means to hang an arts and crafts ceiling light and shade. While my work, to develop a means to hang what was a lamp Arts and Crafts lamp shade, to use a ceiling light, in the process I miss-wired and developed a short, hence the call to you. I also wasn't fully OK with my system to hang the heavy'ish shade, that once was a lamp shade. Hence the call to your shop. Drew did a great job of both checking and fixing the wiring problem, but also developing a sturdier means to attach the inverted lamp shade. Responses by email and text are quick and they answer the phone or call back promptly. Highly recommend for plumbing and water heater service! I started off having them do some plumbing work for me to correct issues identified during a water meter replacement. They did a great job so I quoted for some more work - a leaky toilet valve, replacing the main water shutoff gate valve that leaks by, and a spigot that cannot decide whether it leaks or no. They sent thorough quotes that gave me all the necessary information to gather comps (none of which were comparable in price or thoroughness). I decided to move forward with the water heater and leaky toilet valve (when it rains it pours; AC went out at the same time I needed this job) and Tim showed up right at 9. He was polite and respectful and got right to work. He brought the new water heater in on a dolly, appropriately strapped and used a part of the cardboard box to protect the unit from the ratchet strap. When he had to run out for a part, he let me know and went to get it. The water heater install and toilet valve replacement took around 3 hours. I did a goof and moved cash to the wrong bank account and didn't have my checking account funded on the day of service. I called and talked to Audrey while Tim was still on site and she said it was totally fine to write a check that would be ready to cash on Friday (it's a Wednesday currently). Customer service is top notch and a great example of why to keep using independently owned businesses when private equity and corporate options seem like an easier option. One consideration is that of the 4-5 times Front Range Water Heater employees have been at my house, none have covered their shoes. For service professionals entering a home in all weather conditions and going back and forth to the nasty crawl space, that's a level of respect to the homeowner that I hope for every time and rarely encounter these days. So I'm not docking them for it but I do hope they consider the practice.
