The first time I visited was extremely pleasant, the staff was helpful and offered options. The second time the manager was borderline rude. They were not there on my first visit. They kept it professional - but clearly was bothered that I was purchasing something that was special ordered. The manager said "that person was new and she should not have sold it to you." REALLY - WOW. I asked if I could be placed on the list for the SPECIAL monthly order - they said yes. I provided my name and phone number. 4 weeks later, no call or text. I popped in for dry food and canned goods for my pup. Saw that they had the frozen raw food I'd purchased and requested before. Grabbed it. Went to the counter to pay for it. They began again with "that's special ordered..." I told her I was one of the customers that requested it. Gave my number again. She confirmed she had my information but wasn't sure on why I didn't receive a call. In possibly the most unpleasant tone - she said "it should be fine for you to take this one". It's been 4 weeks - I called to check if the order had come in. They confirmed that they have the stock, in a slow irritated voice. I gave my number again. Asked if they had called. No because "my" order has not come in. It saddens me to know that a very dear friend recommended this store branch. It is well out of my way. But they came highly recommended. I've expressed to my friend that I don't think it's the place for me and my family. The manager or lead - doesn't want my money. He said, that he was hoping that wasn't true, but I'm not the first friend and POC that's relayed concern to him about that Hollywood Feed Branch.

We are not pet lovers in any stretch of the imagination. We only own for the most part turtles and pet fish. But the things you do when you love your kids right? We pass by the pet store daily and decided to stop in with our daughter. It is a fairly tight space but they make good use of it. There are lots of cute puppies of various breeds and the employees including the owner who is very present gave us a quick break down on "puppy ownership 101". We were surprised that dog ownership can be on the pricey side especially the ones as young as the puppies(2,000+). But this place does give you a lot of value for the cost. They offer free classes for the life of your pets to teach you how to potty train, overall take care and other various areas of pet ownership and it's never a cost as long as you purchased your pet from their store. They have lots of accessories to go with your purchase including a fence that you can put inside of your home and of course several varieties of dog food as well as travel gear. All of the animals appear be well taken care of and we love the fact that they are a Christian owned establishment and they are very vocal about that. They also do not purchase dogs from what's called a puppy mills, or shady dog breeding companies. So that's good to know and they also include proof of lineage with each pet purchase. We are not ready to take the leap and become pet owners yet but this place appears to be a very good option and the employees look like they really care about the well-being of every animal that sets foot in here.

Other groomers didn't want to deal with that and have turned her away but not the staff at this Petco location. I usually go with a specific groomer, Helena, but she was not available so I took a chance with any available groomer. The appointment was shorter than usual which caused my to question if they gave her a haircut. received a call and text that she was ready for pickup about 2.5 hrs later. When I got there, Ve shared some health concerns that Trixie may have arthritis and an ear infection, which I truly appreciated. They did just as I requested and cut her coat down for the summer and left her tail long. Of course, we will be back.

The store has displays of pretty hummingbird feeders and supplies, bird houses, decorative crystal birds, earrings and occasionally they carry locally made items like soaps or socks knitted with alpaca yarn from a nearby farm in Snellville! The people are so friendly and helpful. They will always help carry bags of seed to your car. I use the curbside pickup about once a month. Highly recommend.

I recently brought home two teacup Yorkshire Terriers, and I am absolutely in love with them. From the moment I picked them up, I could tell how much love and care had gone into raising them. One of them, Tiny, went straight to the pee wee pad when we got home--such a smart little guy! His older brother Titan loves to cuddle and falls asleep in my sisters arms when she hold him.
