Crème Brûlée

Little man loves it! The complimentary bread was delicious. He loved the Caesar salad so much that he didn't want to share! He loved the lobster tail and asparagus. I loved my boneless ribeye and the asparagus. It was so much food that we saved the loaded potato for a different day. The Creme Brûlée was a big hit!

As mentioned in the Resort Review - the diner choices at the Three Fires Steakhouse was very good. The service staff was so courteous - and the warm bread delivered to the table was so good we could not finish our food. Very standard decorations for a steakhouse good selection of cocktails and wines for my winos. We will most certainly return. Thanks to Madi/Rey and everyone in the kitchen staff.

Reducing my rating today. We waited 20 minutes for food and it was NOT busy. The tacos were cold. There was a kid taking all of the sauce bottles from tAbles and so as king the lids. While I appreciate the need to clean, we still want to have sauce in the table. This is the second time this has happened. So am starting to see trend here. Customers are not a priority here anymore. Hope management sees this and fixes things. By the way - even cold the tacos are still delicious

Slow Roasted Prime Rib -Roasted Wild Mushrooms, Fried Calamari, Loaded Baked Potato

Returned for our second Valentine's Day visit. My husband and I split the prime rib, a baked potato, roasted wild mushrooms, and calamari with shishito peppers. The prime rib was decent in size but under seasoned, which is fixable with a little table salt. Mushrooms were delicious, cooked in plenty of garlic and butter. The baked potato came fully loaded and was MASSIVE. And finally, the calamari was the star of the show. Perfectly fried and light, the shishitos seemed to be brined and had a nice little vinegary kick that cuts through the grease. The batter was also well seasoned and did not over power the squid. Great dinner, we plan on returning again

Our family tried Norsemen for the first time on a trip into Topeka for a concert!…read more Unfortunately, based on the overall positive reviews I see on the platform, I think we might have caught the establishment on a bit of an off night. It was a Friday around 6:00 pm, and despite being worried about our ability to get a seat at a popular restaurant during that time of week, we walked right in and were seated immediately. Good start. That ended up being about the only "good" mark of the evening. The service was extremely slow all evening, and without verbal explanation. However, it was pretty plain to see that they were desperately understaffed. It just would have been nice to have been provided a good expectation up front, as we ended up very squeezed for time at the end of the dining experience, causing concern for making our concert date after. That said, the couple of folks working the entire half of the restaurant I had eyes on were working their tails off, so credit to them for the effort. Not their fault. After waiting for an extended time for our food, only some of it arrived, with a promise that the other meals were right behind. That ended up not being the case; the last person at the table to be served received their meal long after the others had completely finished. I'm assuming the kitchen was just as short staffed as the front of house. The food was...fine, at best, on this occasion. Considering the wait and price, it actually lands at pretty suboptimal. There was definitely potential; maybe on another night where it was cooked with better attention and served fresh, it might have been above average. Of good note, the lingonberry options on the menu were fun, and the appetizer we ordered with it was definitely the food highlight of our experience. The place had a nice vibe to it! It did come recommended, so, we might give it another chance someday down the line! Food = 1/5 Facility = 3/5 Service = 1/5 Ambiance = 3/5 Value = 2/5

Update on 9/13/24: Devastating visit after a long time waiting to return. We haven't been driving…read moreto and from Olathe as much and I was so excited to return for my favorite beer, beet chips, and some sort of exciting entree. Walking in on a Friday evening to an empty restaurant should have told us right then and there things have tanked! Weird long wait from sitting to receiving waters to the server returning to take our order but then..... maybe 30 minutes goes by and our server returns to awkwardly tell me that the kitchen can't seem to find any soup. Wtheck? The hand-written board upon entering the establishment clearly states lobster bisque still available and why does it take so long to realize there isn't any? Continued to wait for one order of wings and cold beet chips! I guess the beet chips are no longer made to order and served warm? Server stood at the bar talking to people. Wrong food trying to be delivered to the table next to us, table across the way sat without food or service for way longer than we did.
