This guy can't be trusted. Period. Decide for yourself or just to somewhere else. If for some reason you do go there, pay very close attention to your bill. He tried charging me $1700 for three cavities! Oh but only 1200 after my insurance!? What!!?? I said absolutely not. He "adjusted" the bill taking off the same amount the insurance was paying, that's suspect. So if I didn't refuse to pay that ridiculous amount, it would've cost about $585 per tooth?!! Not to mention the teeth he drilled, he did so going by 2 year old xrays from prior Dentist. These teeth were past repair apparently and now I have zero cash/insurance left until next year and I accomplished nothing this year. Not even mad, disappointed and sad mostly. read more

No masking protocol in place right now, at least not in common areas. Walked in and neither the receptionist or anyone in the waiting room was wearing a mask. Abandoned our appt. after letting the receptionist know we weren't comfortable with the situation. With RSV, COVID back on the rise, and being in the middle of flu season, I cannot understand the rationale. Staff seemed very nice, just wish they would take safety more seriously. read more

I really like Dr. Reilly's practice. I've been to several dental practices in my time and Three Rivers has exceeded all of my expectations. The bottom line is that Dr. Reilly is highly skilled, has an exceptional "chairside manner," and employs the latest dental technologies. Having been 'gifted' with a plethora of supernumerary teeth in addition to the usual number (including wisdom teeth), I am all too familiar with extractions. I heard very positive things about Dr. Reilly and was thoroughly disenchanted with my previous provider, so made an appointment. His office is amazing and showcases cutting edge technologies. A modest man, he doesn't trumpet some remarkable professional achievements: (1) a graduate of Tufts Dental School, the best program in the nation if not the world; (2) selection by his peers as one of the 'Forty Best Under Forty" dentists in 20xx (I forget the year). My initial exam was impressively detailed, definitive and lengthy. Adding frosting to the cake, his professional demeanor is very relaxed, no hubris, no bulldozing. Nevertheless, I suspect Dr. Reilly was more familiar with my teeth after that first appointment than any DMD I've seen was after two years. And yes, as I fully expected, extractions were on the treatment plan. I had two neighbors removed four days ago and it took a good while, longer than I can recall being taken ever before. On the drive home, I was absolutely dreading the dulling of the anesthesia, thinking all that extra probing would exacerbate the pain. Uh, *NO !!* Not at all. ... In fact, that evening my jaw hurt less than a minor stubbed toe. Same the next morning. Extractions, root canals ... had 'em all, sometimes popping pills like crazy. The contrast is amazing, to say nothing of pleasant! Honestly, I don't think he's especially 'gentle,' rather he is particularly skilled, which clearly is the better alternative. As a pain-adverse patient, I have to assert Dr. Reilly is the poster subject for minimal discomfort dentistry. read more

I visited Three Rivers for the first time on January 28th and found the staff to be friendly and professional. Jill greeted me with a smile and helped to make sure that I was comfortable while waiting. Amanda was professional in her work with X-Rays and cleaning, and she assisted Dr. Reilly in a complete assessment of my oral health. The office was very clean and seemed to have more state-of-the-art equipment than my previous dentist in Massachusetts. One of the worst experiences ever. First, walked in, the dentist and the receptionist might have something going on and flirting all the time when we have some question to ask. Then the insurance questions come out, the dentist become extremely inpatient and keep telling us it's ran out of time even though We had arrived 5 mints early in a storm day with a 2 yrs old kid. ( The receptionist was just unwilling to call the insurance to double check with the insurance company and finally made us to reschedule.) Before we left, we asked the receptionist to call back if she find out with the insurance company before our next apportionment, but no call received for 2 weeks. BTW, the middle of working with the receptionist the dentist kicked his office door closed,which shows huge disrespect. I would strongly not recommend this dentist towards their working attitude. read more

have been seeing Dr. Reilly since I moved to the area about a year ago. Dr. Reilly is very professional and does a great job explaining the specifics of every procedure even if it's as simple as a cleaning. The first time I saw Dr. Reilly, he noticed a small cavity and filled it immediately. The whole process was pain free, and I was out of the chair and back to work within an hour. He also makes himself available and was able to see me same day when I was experiencing serious pain. I know that visiting the dentist is something most people don't enjoy, but Dr. Reilly makes the overall experience much, much better. i also had Dr. Reilly's office whiten my teeth for my wedding. I got many compliments on how beautiful my smile looked. I would highly recommend this process. read more

I cannot think of anything I could suggest to improve this business. From the moment I walked in the door, to the time I smiled in my rear view to pull out, I felt very comfortable and secure. I knew I chose a great place. The staff, as noted in prior reviews is over the top friendly and personalable. The entire office is spotless, including the bathrooms. I never felt rushed, or afraid to bring up my concerns. The doctor is very professional, and clearly takes pride in his work. Not to mention, my teeth feel sooooo clean, and I paid a lot less than I thought I was going to have to after not going to a dentist is so long! read more

I bought the limelight deal for teeth whitening. saw dr reilly for not just a minute. he had his dental assistant do the whitening. I left the office with my lips swollen and gums swollen from the bleaching. two days later i'm still having problems smiling and eating because of the bleach. definitetely wouldn't recommend read more

I went to Three Rivers Dental for the first time last year. Dr. Reilly and his staff were very accommodating. The office is both professional in appearance, but inviting in its essence. I have worked in dental offices in the past and have had the pleasure of experiencing top quality customer service. Because of a relocation, I had been trying to find a dental practice that fit my needs and offered that same type of customer service I had grown accustomed to; I found it at Three Rivers Dental..! Dr. Reilly takes the time to explain the procedure he is about to do and won't proceed until all your questions have been answered. I also appreciate that he uses the most recent dental technology available and feel that I am in good hands with someone who keeps abreast of the changes in his profession. I agree with what everyone else said about Three Rivers Dental and Dr. Reilly. I couldn't have said it better myself. First off, I HATE the dentist...HATE having my teeth scraped and picked at. I have a lot of plaque build up as a coffee drinker and other dentists have always scraped my teeth to get it off. I also have two open nerves from receding gums and they are always hit by a dentist and hurt so bad. But, I must say Dr. Reilly isn't like the other dentists I have been too. He uses the most advanced dental technology so my teeth weren't scraped, but were cleaned some high tech way that didn't hurt! I was so relieved. Also, he recommended filling two cavities that my last dentist didn't even identify, and after getting in there he found the bottom of my tooth had a cavity in it and I was so close to needing a root canal! If Dr. Reilly hadn't been diligent in examining my teeth and recommended filling just that tiny cavity, I would have had to go through with a painful root canal procedure very soon. Also, Three Rivers Dental office is very clean and very professional looking. Great ambiance with a quiet, calming feel to it. I loved the dental chair and room. It had a great calming view and was very clean and hi tech! I even watched a movie while my cavities were being filled. I can say that I no longer HATE the dentist...as long as I continue to see Dr. Reilly. He took very good care of me and explained everything very thoroughly so I understood what was going on and was informed about the process. That has never happened to me before and made the experience very unlike my past ones. I would recommend Three Rivers Dental and Dr. Logan Reilly to anyone. I chose Three Rivers Dental after being treated by a dentist for forty-five years who recently announced his retirement. I traveled thirty-five miles south of Portsmouth for the past thirty years since leaving the town where he was located. I feared finding a new dentist who would give the same dedication and patient comfort. At my age I was not going to choose another dentist that would retire and leave me once again having to make another selection. My friends referred me to a few Portsmouth dentists and I called their offices but either their attitude or reception, quite frankly, turned me away. I received a copy of the "Greenland Grapevine" one day and noticed an advertisement for Three Rivers Dental, right in my home town. I visited their office and spoke with Dr. Reilly, set up an appointment for a new patient consultation and cleaning and was very impressed with the office environment and Dr. Reilly's personality and professionalism. On the day of the cleaning Dr. Reilly revealed certain major issues I needed to address which raised the question, why didn't my previous dentist detect and inform me of these. The advanced dental technology Dr. Reilly uses, my former dentist did not have, allowed him to discover these issues. As Ann C. stated in her review of Three Rivers Dental, Dr. Reilly makes you feel comfortable and takes whatever time he needs to explain any procedure that needs to be done. Since that visit I have had two major procedures performed at Three Rivers Dental and I cannot believe the lack of discomfort or pain I experienced. One procedure, the installation of a crown, was installed and made at his office within 9 min as I watched, that only took ten minutes without the usual waiting time of two or three weeks. Dr. Reilly even called my home later that evening to see how I was recovering following both procedures. Both procedures were absolutely painless during and following the visit.
