One of my go to places in Lynchburg. The beer selection is always good and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. There is a lot of seating both indoor and out. They are very dog friendly and dogs are welcome inside. I only wish they had a schedule of food trucks.

Yummy sampler size .. flight of beers

Loved this brewery.. as others have stated it's and old car dealership.. the show room is the bar area and brewing takes place in the back.."mechanic " area. Its a perfect setup for a brewery! Lots of seats and open airy feeling up front. Plenty of parking and even some outdoor seating! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. You can bring food and have your dog there too with you . The beer was terrific.. with a variety of styles to suit most taste buds. (Sorry. ..There are no cocktails or wine).. Go check it out when in Lynchburg.

Came here for trivia night and was not dissapointed! A super cool and open space dedicated solely to trying and sampling different beers. Got this lemongrass blonde ale which was refreshing, clean, and hit the spot after a long day of work. I'm new to the brewery scene so I was surprised when they said they offered no food but the fact that they're so open about allowing you to bring your own food as you chill out and talk with friends was more than enough to get me on board with their vision. Three Roads Brewing offers an impressive selection of beers, IPA's, and sours. Even for someone like me that gravitates more towards a well mixed cocktail as opposed to a beer was able to find something that fit my tastes. I highly suggest you go for a date or just a hangout with friends.

Beautiful building with a great view with plenty of parking in downtown Lynchburg! Nice assortment of beers. We enjoyed and IPA, Belgium and aBrett Saison! Looking forward to many returns!

Good beer and great service. Stopped in during a work trip for some local beer. If in the area, would stop in again.

Came here the other night with a group of friends. It was great, the music was loud but we found a quieter place. Friends got bbq from the truck outside. The beers were super good and the barkeeps were very informed. People were playing cards, board games or just hanging out with their dogs. Super chill. The music was unique and good.

This is a really well done brewery! Walking up it is reminiscent of an old car dealer, and sure enough it used to be an old Ford dealership. The retro feel is cohesive throughout their whole environment! It's a super cool space and really nice beers to boot. I will say the rugs are a bold statement. I only saw one person spill beer on them. Definitely worth the visit!

Overall beer is good. Entertainment is sometimes spotty. I prefer to go there when less crowded. They are popular.

Good times and good brews. We'll be back. BTW some of think that Yelp reviews should be shorter.

This is a downtown location that is on my agenda to check out. I am looking for downtown sources of good stout beer.

In Roanoke for the day and needed a beer…read more Scale: 1-5 Beer: 5 - I had the NE IPA that was good. Saw a porter and ESB that I will try next time. Atmosphere: 5 - Relaxed vibe. We enjoy visiting local breweries and decided to stop in at AFOG on a Sunday evening at 6:30pm…read moreafter calling and confirming their hours. The brewery was easy to find and we originally thought it was housed inside an old school building but later learned it was previously a health services building. In addition to AFOG, there are also residential apartments in the remaining adjoining part of the building. There is a large outdoor area where a birthday celebration was happening amongst a small group. We proceeded inside and were immediately greeted by Sam. She helped me identify the IPA options and i immediately chose their Millennial Serum, which is a hazy imperial style that I enjoy. We looked around a bit, snapped some photos and looked at their swag. I'm a big tie dye guy and I was happy to see they had a great selection of AFOG tie dye shirts in my size. We decided to sit at the bar while I enjoyed my beer and chatted about our day. We also enjoyed talking with Sam and learning more about the brewery. We learned they are soon opening their second location in Buchanan, Virginia. Great stop, we felt welcomed, the beer was delicious and I have a new tie dye that will remind me of our time in Roanoke.
