The kitchen is so well stocked, it made cooking such a breeze. I was able to make chocolate soufflés in the kitchen (I just had to bring my own hand mixer and chocolate). Their kitchen appliances, pots, and pans were better than the ones I had at home! Even their gas grill outside looked like it wasn't even touched. The even got wifi, directv, and Netflix hooked up. It was nice having these options even though we didn't spend a lot of time using it. It even had ac in there! After you spend your afternoon walking up and down the river, it's nice to come inside in a well conditioned cabin. The cabin is off the main road but you don't hear too many cars. Especially if your hanging out in the back by the river. All you hear is the river. And plus it was very convenient to have the gas station, convenient stores, souvenir shops etc. just down the road. My friends and I had such a terrific weekend that we were so sad to leave back to the OC. We will definitely be back and recommend this quaint cabin to anyone. FYI: they told us that if your cell phone provider is AT&T you will have better service up there than any other provider. They still have a landline for you to use, which was nice. And don't forget to check out The Doll Nest in the area. It's a shop full of Russian Nesting Dolls and toys! How cute is that!

My partner and I came here for Christmas weekend, wanting to get away from the city, and we were not disappointed by our choice at all! The rooms are redecorated, the food Jackie serves is AMAZING and they are both so extremely hospitable! The location is really great because it is easy to get to the local shops and the park entrance. I cannot say enough good things about our stay, and we will be back soon for another relaxing getaway!

I stayed two nights, first breakfast was french toast and WOW.(best in my life no joke), second breakfast was a spinach frittata also Very good (I am going to try making it!). Most of the breakfasts come with a special jam or sirup that is home made. The home has a very hommy feel to it. The rooms are very nice and feel like a nice hotel room, but no TV (not that you need) Fresh baked brownies sat in the kitchen! Don't bring pets if going to the national parks they cant really do much! Hairdryer in the hall to share if you need! They have a deck on the second floor with a fridge and table/chairs for sharing with other guest (note a room does sit behind with a window) Did I mention FRESH baked brownies sat in the kitchen?

Our party reserved the Sequoia Charmed and Kaweah Gem Suites during our visit. I loved that each suite was walking distance to the river and that were lots of places to sit and relax on the way there. I stayed in the Sequoia Charmed Suite. There was a tiny balcony that overlooked the river. The outdoor kitchen was great. There were bikes to borrow, and there was even a ping pong table. The suite was adorable with a tiny kitchenette and a large pullout sofa. We really liked these beautiful suites. The owner, Diana, was thoughtful, and the suites were big, beautiful, and really relaxing. For our next stay in Three Rivers, I would love to stay at this lovely property again.

Our suite, The Kaweah Gem, was fully stocked with luxury towels; mini fridge, coffee maker & rapid heating electric water kettle for tea, hot chocolate, etc. Bedding was luxurious & comfortable! Shared outdoor kitchen had everything you could imagine & we were able to BBQ after a quick trip to the local grocery store. The privacy & river views are beyond special. On line pics don't reflect updates to the suite, teal carpet replaced with darker tile. Diana also accommodated our request to bring a masseuse on site for massages by the river. And if you're interested in the history of the area, Monica (a fourth generation resident), is a fountain of knowledge... and one of the sweetest people you could ever hope to meet. My wife and I were looking for a unique, relaxing get away, and Wicky-Up delivered just that... it was perfect: charming decor, delightful conversations with Monica and Jack, delicious fruit fresh from their farm... and Sweet Pea- an incredibly friendly pup who will literally lead you on a beautiful, relaxing walk through the almost endless rows of orange trees. This was a spur of the moment get away and I said to my wife let's call and see if Dee has room. The Cabin was available to we invited our younger son and his wife and kid to join us. Everything was perfect; road conditions were we good, tourists weren't a hassle and fortunately Western Divide Highway was OPENED for our return trip home...this time through Kernville. Everything about Mountain Top B&B was great. This winter brought lots and lots of snow, Dee's car was still buried and sustained body damage as a result. The Cabin easily accommodated our four adults plus a toddler. The Ponderosa Lodge (next door) offered up cocktails and grub and a fun crowd of mountain madness lovers.
