Our stay at Three Springs Ranch was by far one of our favorite rentals! Enjoyable, even during a rainy weekend in the heart of winter, the house provided the most gorgeous landscape with snow-capped mountains in the background and a ton of space on the property to explore. We hated to leave this cozy yet spacious 5-bedroom cabin - Photos do not do this place justice! The set up is perfectly communal with the right amount of privacy, bed space, access to bathrooms and laundry. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The wood burning stove (which we used every day!) was the perfect accent and kept us cozy during card games and at the poker table that comes with the house! The guys played disc golf right outside of the house and our dogs were safe and secure inside the gated property. The teepee was adorable too, however we did not use it on this trip :) Shelly McKnight was beyond helpful in every way imaginable, on the days leading up to our stay, as well as during our stay (she even called to warn us about weather conditions for our drives home. Amazing) Overall, the perfect getaway weekend and best way to spend New Years with a large group of old friends. Thank you Three Springs Ranch, we will stay with you again in the future!!!

The house was configured in a way that we all had enough privacy and togetherness, the beds were comfortable, the house well-stocked with everything we could think of, and we absolutely loved the goats and their guardian dog. Amazing views, a short walk to some waterfalls and streams, full hook ups on both sides (EG: you can pull in on either direction). The only 2 knocks I have; the sites seem like they could be a little tight if you don't camp with a friend (and have 2 spots together) to get 1 combined campsite. And the terrain isn't really level so there is some adjusting and leveling to be done on your rig. But either way 5 out of 5. We will 100% be back on a later date.

Sequoia Ranch fit the bill since we wanted to be close to the south entrance of Sequoia National Park. The staff is excellent - fast, friendly check in and helpful with questions. We opted for site T6, a no hookup site since we have solar and wanted full sun and clear sky for Starlink so we can work. The swimming hole in the river is quite nice, we took our chairs and books down each afternoon and sat in the water to cool off. The approach road, North Fork Drive, is good for an early morning walk or run. We saw deer several times, and a few places have horses. Noise is minimal overall, there were only a few other campers that came and went in the dry camping areas who had generators, and they were all a good distance away. And if you need a few groceries, Village Market in Three Rivers is about seven minutes away - prices what you'd expect, surprising selection of beer and wine, and all the other staples you need. Save room for the BBQ!

This was a spur of the moment get away and I said to my wife let's call and see if Dee has room. The Cabin was available to we invited our younger son and his wife and kid to join us. Everything was perfect; road conditions were we good, tourists weren't a hassle and fortunately Western Divide Highway was OPENED for our return trip home...this time through Kernville. Everything about Mountain Top B&B was great. This winter brought lots and lots of snow, Dee's car was still buried and sustained body damage as a result. The Cabin easily accommodated our four adults plus a toddler. The Ponderosa Lodge (next door) offered up cocktails and grub and a fun crowd of mountain madness lovers. I promised Dee we would return very soon...and we will.

We loved this campsite! The sites are well-spaced, the campground is clean, and quiet (We reserved…read more#9 & #10). The creek that flows through the campground is ice-cold, and makes for a beautiful hike (My husband even caught a small trout)! The bathrooms were kept relatively clean for pit toilets, and clean water is provided from a spigot (to rinse dirty dishes, or kids!). There is a super convenient little general store in Camp Nelson, which is the closest town. Just a beautiful place, with Sequoias sprinkled throughout! You will wake up every morning, glad you're there. The camp host (I believe his name is Dan), was super chill and very helpful when we asked about local sights, and hikes. The only con right now is the fire restriction in effect for the whole area, so that means NO campfires (I got a Campfire Permit beforehand, which is required, but was not inspected). It's a very shady campground during the day, and it gets pretty chilly at night, not to mention very dark. Just make sure you have a propane stove/grill/firepit, and some lanterns/headlamps/flashlights you'll be good to go! *Trail of 100 Giants is a must see, though it's a 22 mile winding drive from the campground*

Wonderful campsite! Stayed at group site G. The site is…read moresloped (but not too bad.) Read a review before going up so I brought a flat shovel and leveled out some spots for some of our stuff. Worked out just fine. No showers. Plenty of outhouses. Wood fire pit and small grill are on site along with a couple of benches. Fresh water is close by the campsite. We had a party of ten and no one had any complaints (aside from the first night figuring out the tents on a slope.) Bring a flat shovel - lifesaver. A few things to note if you are going for the first time... * Fuel up your vehicle in Springville (if traveling from the Bakersfield direction or Kernville traveling the other way.) There is a small store about 3 minutes from the campsite with basic stuff but no gas. * No cell reception at all. * Trail of 100 Giants is only 10 minutes up the road. * Hiking trails galore. * Fishing - nothing close by. Rivers haven't been stocked in over a year. * Campsites G and F are next to the road (wasn't an issue with noise or safety unless you have pets that tend to wander.)

Sites closer together than I prefer but it was quiet. We brought more people than can sleep in our RV so we usually set up a small tent. When making the reservation they said we could set up a tent next to our RV but we were not comfortable with neighbors so close. Restrooms at office had screen door only. When stepping out of the shower, I felt exposed to entire campground, especially at night with lights on inside. Before coming to this place again, I would call and ask if some of these issues have been resolved.
