I took my vehicle, a 2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, to this repair shop for an oil change. According to Toyota's official maintenance schedule, this vehicle requires an oil change every 10,000 miles when using 0W-20 full synthetic oil. However, the shop performed and charged for two oil changes within an interval of approximately 5,000 miles. I was not informed that the second oil change was unnecessary based on the manufacturer's recommendations, nor was I given a technical explanation justifying an early oil change. At no point was I advised that the service was redundant or optional. Had I been properly informed, I would not have authorized the second oil change. I attempted to contact the shop by phone and left a voicemail requesting clarification, but I did not receive a response. I believe this reflects a lack of transparency and failure to obtain informed consent for an unnecessary service. If you can't trust this shop with an oil change, image any other service. read more

It took about two minutes to schedule an appointment through their website. Along with follow-up messages through text, it's very easy and convenient. I came in on a Friday afternoon for a state inspection and oil change. Doug and staff are nice and knowledgeable about their work, and to my surprise, I was out within the hour! Overall, the price was reasonable and the quality of work is exceptional. I plan to return in the future. read more

I initially went in at opening for a flat tire. The garage was full and booked, but the team members were able to squeeze me in because they didn't have to search for a leak. Since then, I have visited the shop for 2 other maintenance needs because they are always honest and affordable. I even mentioned I'm moving, and they gave me advice on what to look out for to find an honest mechanic in my new home. Overall I am happy with this shop and sad to have to find another to go to. read more

I called at 8:30am and was able to get my car in for new tires and an inspection on the same day. Doug worked with me to find reasonable tires at a good price. I got a call from him before going in telling me he was running 30 minutes late, which let me adjust my schedule rather than adding time to my wait. Doug and his team did great work on my wife's car. A honest straight shooter. We were told by the dealership her car need rear struts. When Three Suns looked at the car they saw no issue with the struts and performed only what needed to be done...how refreshing. I called after seeing the great reviews here about this car shop and was more than delighted that the owner, Doug was able to work on my car today. It was in desperate need of new brakes and rotors. Doug's price was more than fair...it was a relief to know that I finally found such an honest auto repair place. Doug also went through the other issues that my car has and gave me printed out prices for each item. He finished the car when he said he would, sent the estimates, the invoice and other information to my phone and then called to let me know that it was ready. First off, I was impressed by the clean & orderly workspace at Three Suns... it obvious that they pay attention to detail when you see a clean, organized work space. Second, the issues with my vehicle were explained to me in layman's terms, which I appreciate since I am (obviously) not a mechanic. Lastly, even though there were a few concerns with my car, I was provided with tips to manage them and a timeline of when to expect the need to repair. At no point was I given a hard sell on getting the problems addressed immediately. I felt respected as a customer, even though I was not a big revenue source that day. Straight talk & honest dealing.
