It's just not my style of thrift. They have things like books, CDs, cheap jewelry, men's suits, women's clothing. No major brands and just the stuff you'd find at a yard sale on a Sunday. Stopped by looking for furniture and was surprised at how good the prices were, even on well-used pieces. The shop itself is really pretty and has a huge variety--books, clothes, electronics, and even paintings. The owner gave me a deal on a painting when I thought it was marked differently, which was such a kind gesture. Staff is very friendly and easy to chat with. Smells better than any thrift store. Reasonable clothes prices of about eight bucks per item of clothes. Not much housewares. No furniture. Everything seems well taken care of and there is a dressing room. Hard to find but turn into the parking lot by Leslie's Pool Supplies. Drop off for items around back. This was a First time Visit, Store was clean with Cute Displays. I really didn't find anything that caught my attention except 1 small item. The cashier had NO personality at all , she was too busy on her Cell Phone. Staff just walked right past you with , no Smile , greet , nothing! I would suggest get a staff that enjoys working & provide good customer service. read more

I wanted a thrift store to take my daughter to that wasn't Goodwill and this was an excellent find. Not too large and overwhelming with heaps of junk. It's smaller but better quality donations. Pricing is a little on the higher side than what you'd normally see at a huge store that accepts everything, but still a good price point as far as thrifting goes. And of course the detail/displays of the store are the coolest part. When we were there the woman was in the middle of a window display that (in her words) were a reflection of the Ukrainian refugee crisis. So interesting and awesome to see her create window art in real time! My daughter was happy with the selection so I'm sure she'll ask to return soon. read more

Thrift on Blackstone is a small little thrift store on Blackstone and Herndon. It's pretty clean and organized, but didn't have much to offer. The majority of the store was clothes clothes and more clothes. This thrift store did not have a lot of decor available. Great displays in the front of the store, making you feel like you're walking into a boutique. Friendly staff. Organized store. Head over and see what treasures you might find :) read more

Charming boutique-like thrift store. Very artistic displays of a variety of merchandise. The good thing about this store is that all of the proceeds go towards Mennonite services to the community. I've been a regular here for years. Store always smells clean and fresh, and is well-organized. Prices are still relatively reasonable but they've slowly crept up in the past year or two. The staff is always friendly and compassionate, since sometimes very pungent homeless/drug addicts come in here and are generously given clothing for free. That, I can respect. I came in last week for the first time in several months and was really put off by the newly-installed television mounted to the wall playing a sermon by Steven Furtick. You are forced to listen to this evangelical talk because the TV oversees the checkout line. I understand that this is a Christian organization and I can respect their charity, but the TV on the wall feels like an extra push of shoving religion down my throat and does not make for a pleasant checkout experience. Plus, Steven Futrick in his sneakers and his modern megachurch vibes is so douchey. I went through a Christian phase in my earlier 30s and those modern hip pastors and their "cool" sermons were such a turnoff! Might I suggest Charles Stanley or someone else more pleasant? I honestly am not sure I will come back for this very reason. *sigh* read more

The best thing about a clothing or bookstore is their selection and quality of goods, right? Yes, And the best thing about many shopping experiences is the layout, decor, theme, and overall look of the store. The management of this non profit store really went above and beyond in their design of this thrift store! There are "instagram worthy" decor elements in this place---it is so interesting. And they have a great, highly curated selection of clothes, home goods, books (in really distinct sections), toys, and more! If you've never been to a thrift store, definitely visit this one! If you love thrift stores and visit them often, you will be blown away by how awesome this one is. Friendly staff as well. Best thrift store on this side of town and maybe in Fresno. Prices are fair, weekly half priced colors (and it seems completely random, not like they mark down the stuff that has been around the longest only), employees are friendly, and so is the store. 1/5 of my wardrobe comes from this place and I've only been going since fall. As soon as you walk in, it feels like a boutique. The clothes are in great shape and ordered according to size. The prices are excellent. There is a bathroom and beautiful fitting rooms. First of all I am a huge thriftster! I make Saturdays my "treat yo self" days. I drive around Fresno to find all the lost treasures that people donate. One Saturday, I was driving down Blackstone to the next destination and my husband pointed out a possible new store, Thrift on Blackstone, so we decided to check it out. When we went inside the store it is uniquely setup with beautiful window displays, kinda had an Anthropologie feeling. Everything from clothes, books, shoes, housewares, etc. I'd like to mention they are reasonably priced. The staff is super friendly and always busy putting new items out on the floor. I've visited this place two times and each time was able to find lots of cool clothing and even shoes! I'd defintley recommend this place to anyone that loves to thrift! read more

Cute store! Does not have that thrift store smell. All the clothes are very clean. There is a limited selection, but I can usually find one or two items when I go there. Prices are fair since they thoroughly clean their clothing. Will be back soon!! Great customer service! read more
