Great outdoor space, lush green grass, palm trees, and water surrounding a gazebo. The gazebo is raised, 6 steps up on a platform. Unfortunately due the weather the original gazebo was destroyed and there was just a temporary one placed. Not as pretty for photos but still kept the sun off of the newlyweds. From the left side, mostly hidden by palm trees, there is an exposed area under the platform with random concrete and trellis. Overall a nice outdoor space for a wedding.

They post a lot of them on the walls when you enter. I come here bc it is inside and I'm like oh it's good to hang out inside when it's a scorcher out. But unfortunately since it's old it's not very cool in here. It's still a cool spot and happy they use it for many community events. There's parking in the lots and around it and mostly free so there a bonus. Make sure to take a trip upstairs. It's a cool view and you would def see what I mean by reminding you of Back to the Future High School Prom Vibe.

The attendees were in an abundance of friends, family & supporters. The last time I visited the Coliseum there was a Back to School event of which I volunteered. There is a help desk around the corner with some very knowledgeable and helpful people. Overall, a nice place to grab a bite between classes or just play some basketball.

Cocktail hour was held downstairs in the basement area, while the transformed the ceremony area into the reception area. Staff was friendly, drinks were flowing, and a good time was being had by all. Even though the reception was in the same room as the ceremony, the refreshed set up with the tables and lighting totally transformed the room. There was a large area for a buffet, bar and eventually- dance floor. There's a lot of historic character to this venue- wood floors- wide baseboards, nice archways. Was a great choice for a wedding!

My (now) husband and I completely fell in love with the Lyceum after walking in. The venue has a beautiful 1920's charm to it. From the beautiful chandeliers to the grand piano to the gorgeous balconies, the Lyceum is truly on of a kind. The way this place functions is really interesting, too. The ceremony and reception are held in the same spot. After the ceremony, the party proceeds downstairs to the basement for cocktail hour when the staff flips the upstairs into a reception area. The space looks like two completely different rooms, but completely beautiful in their own way. I must mention the staff. Brian and Cortney were both so easy to work with. They made sure my wedding day went like clockwork and were very attentive to all of my questions. I could not recommend the Lyceum more highly. What a spectacular venue!

KEY TAKEAWAYS: - SPACE - The space is large and includes a bar w/ various wine and beer options and some small snacks, as well as a private party room (see PIC). - CLASS - Our paint poring class was tons of fun and appreciated the opportunity to pick and choose colors as well as canvas options. The next Paint pouring event is September 26th and I highly recommend it! - OTHER EVENTS - A September of calendar of events has been included (SEE PIC). - TAKE HOME KITS - They also offer take-home paint kits, which is a fabulous idea and includes all of the supplies needed to do a class at home, based on instructional videos! - SOCIAL DISTANCING - When booking, we were given the option to be 6ft distanced from others, which I appreciated as the class was sold out with a waitlist, and they prioritized patrons comfort. - SUPPORTING CHARITY - They were also accepting donations for Animal Fluff rescue, which I really appreciated seeing.
