A very expensive but tasty juice shop. Atmosphere: 4/5 - Modern & sleek but not a lot of seating. Clean. Price: $$$$/5 - Probably the most you'll ever pay for juice. $10 for 473mL bottle. Customer Service: 4/5 - Server was polite. Service was slightly slower than average speed. Location: 4/5 - Lots of nice shops nearby. Close to river & transit. Taste: 5/5 - Best juice I've had. High quality, not too sweet. Menu: 5/5 - Large menu with many unique and tasty drinks. Vegan friendly. Sustainability: 4/5 - Glass bottles, waste reduced juice production. Strengths - Sustainable initiatives, tasty. Weaknesses - Expensive. Good items to buy: Blue Majik, Garden Veggies. THIS PLACE IS A SOLID 3.5/5 I debated hard about what I was going to rate this. I'm giving a 4/5 on YELP but I would say it ranges from about a 3/5 to 4/5? I don't know... I've thought long about this review having tried this place enough times to make a decision. I mean you can't deny it that their juices are great. From their juice menu I've tried the Enerchi, Refresher, Rejuvenate, Royal Flush, Clean Greens and Awaken. They were all pretty good other than the Awaken one - I wasn't a fan of the lime but I am sure others are. For $10 a bottle I would say these are quite expensive for juice. For example I've probably spent over $60 for all the juices I have tried and for that price I could make triple the juice at home for $60. I think you definitely get better value for your money with their shots. For their shots I have tried the TLC, OT, E3, and LGC. I absolutely LOVE the TLC shot. These shots range from $4 - $6 and I do think that they're worth it. Shots are something that I don't think I would make myself. So I don't mind the price and I find these to be low in price. They also take the glass containers bottles and reuse them. So your best bet is to return the glass bottles and not create extra waste for the environment. Also I can see on the site that they offer a beginner cleanse online? But the website isn't really that accessible. I see that I would be getting some added benefits like oil pulling packages etc. But it doesn't actually give me the lowdown on anything else? I see the delivery times as well, but where is the menu? I take a link to the "beginner cleanses" page but that page doesn't load at all. It just gives me a blank page with pictures of different coloured juices but no explanation. I tried from my phone and two different computers but that page doesn't work. The best thing you can do for the website is to click the "subscriptions" button and see the menu items for there. THAT is what you will be paying for. So 6 juices per week for $240.00 per month. It doesn't seem too bad when you put it that way, but it does add up. Would I recommend this for someone new at cleanses? I am not sure. For $240.00 you could just purchase your own juicer and make all the juice per week you want? For times where we just want a bit of really well made juice to give us some extra health during the day. I would say yes come here and try their juices! Or even their smoothies! They are definitely good for a treat now and then. I am not sure however if I could justify coming here all the time. Ambiance is nice and place is really trendy on the inside. That is precisely why I can see this as more of a lunch spot/occasional thing. Place closes at 6:00PM though so you have to get there early. Very comfortable vegan eatery. Love the Turmeric Chili Soup, Avocado topped toast, Kale chickpeas bowl. We really enjoyed it. You could tell they put effort into all they serve. One of my favourite spots in Saskatoon. They have fresh made smoothies and cold pressed juices in glass bottles! Most everything is organic and all as much local as possible. My favourite smoothie is the creamy cocoa, a mix of ingredients I hadn't thought of putting together myself but it's just so damn delicious!! They also have fresh salads to go and healthy shooters (the one I usually gravitate to is the organic turmeric). Their juices are so fresh and delicious. It's definitely a local hang out for me. I have been a supporter of Thrive since it's opening, it's a wonderful addition to those conscious of health & well being. Their ingredients are fresh, organic and taste soulful. I enjoy their Cleanses every few months to kick start myself, their shakes are filling and wholesome, even my kids love them...and my favourite dishes are the Kale Salad and Avocado Chocolate pudding! Just arrived in town and was looking for a smoothie bowl. The atmosphere is great and the staff very polite. The prices are outrageous however. $15 for an acaii bowl that barely had anything too it. Serving sizes were so small I left needing to find more food. I would not come back to this place or recommend it read more
