We ordered a Detroit Style pizza and cannot rave a bout how great the pizza was. Picked up and it is very hot and remained hot until we arrived at home. We added a Caesar Salad as well. It was delicious and very surprising as being picked up at the restaurant. Recommend this pizza store. Well worth the trip and price. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a Hawaiian Pizza with added mushrooms over the telephone. Picked the pizza up and brought it home. When opened I saw that it was covered in extremely hot peppers. Inedible in my house. I have never ever seen or heard of a Hawaiian pizza with hot peppers on it ever. I called the store and spoke to a supervisor and was shocked by his attitude and refusal to make it right. Very arrogant and uncaring. I just spent 40 dollars for a pizza I can't eat. Higher end pizza, but great quality. We've had a variety of the pizzas, and I'm inclined to the deep dish pizzas (particularly the Buffalo style). Pizzas are quite filling so a couple slices can satisfy (particularly the deep dishes). read more

Some amazing pizza, through thick and thin. When I went, I picked up the Triple Pep Detroit-style pizza, and the Prosciutto New York-Style pizza. Both were magnificent and I would consider driving back to London just to get them again. The Triple Pep is absolutely brimming with pepperoni slices, so if you love pepperoni like I do, you'll fall in love with the pizza. The sauce and cheese are delicious, and the edges of the pizza have that signature Detroit-styling browning. Top points all around. It's a hefty pizza, so it'll last you for either multiple meals on your own or to share with friends. The Prosciutto pizza is the perfect foil for the Triple Pep. There's no shortage of toppings here either, and the flavour is sublime. All the toppings compliment each other well, and this pizza will leave you satisfied. Solid and unique pizza. Wolf bros don't usually make mistakes and this is yet another example of a good food vision executed well.

I'm a fan. Easy online ordering (though I do wish there was section to add comments. I would like to try a few of the pizzas with certain topping removed for allergy reasons and there doesn't seem to be a way to request this online. It's perhaps on purpose as I did note they didn't take substitutions, but completely removing an item surely is different?) & each time we've ordered the pickup was ready in under 30 mins. The pizzas are massive (easily feeds 4 hungry people), fresh tasty toppings, crust has a good crunch on the outside with a bit of oven char, then gluten-y chew on the inside. We've tried the NY deluxe and the NY prosciutto and both were delicious. We've also tried the wings (dill pickle & hot honey) and they're great. Fresh, crispy, flavorful. Salads are large and do give you more than standard mixed lettuce. The negatives: there aren't size options. If you're just ordering for 1 or 2 people you're either going to eat leftovers for days or have a lot of waste. Also it's not cheap. I wouldn't say overpriced given the size and quality of ingredients the prices are fair, but definitely well above the price of, say, Dominos. I'll be a regular! read more

The newest pizza joint in town offers either Detroit or New York style pies. The ingredients on each pizza on the menu are set; you can remove items, but substitutions are not permitted. We had an uneven first experience. We had to call over twenty times in order to get a human on the phone. Was then left on the phone for fifteen minutes; we could hear what was going on (not on hold), but couldn't get anyone to come to the phone even when we yelled loudly and frequently. I think that they put the phone down and forgot about us. We called on a second phone (again, multiple attempts) and eventually reached a human. Our order wasn't ready on time, which is concerning during a pandemic as we didn't want to be standing there one minute longer than necessary. Surprisingly, the pizze in our order weren't fully cooked, so we had to finish them in our own oven. Onto the good - the pizze are *huge*, so while they are expensive, you get a lot of food for your money. The ingredients that they use produce a quality pizza. It may be that they are still finding their footing in terms of service. I would be inclined to try them again on another occasion. read more

It appears the growing pains are over for Through Thick and Thin Pizza because my experience was top notch! Ordering online was easy. We ordered and I got a text message soon after for confirmation. Our pizzas would be ready in one hour. We ordered 2 New York style pies. One pepperoni and one Canadian. When I arrived the server came outside to greet me and my pizzas were waiting for me. I was a bit worried they were going to be cold but they were steaming hot. And damn these things are HUGE! I have to say without a doubt it was some of the best pizza I have had in a long time. The tomato sauce was perfect. Flavourful and a bit acidic (in a good way). The crust was thin and soft but crispy on top. Just heaven. Yea, the slices are massive. Kind of like when you buy a slice from a walk in pizza joint. It's obvious we'd have leftovers and they still tasted amazing after heating them up under the broiler. This spot will definitely be on our rotation when we want a damn good pie (not a cheap and quick one). Thank you for bringing new and fun restaurants to London that taste deeeelicious! read more

We had a really bad experience yesterday. When I went to pick up our order, the person asked for a tip "for the kitchen" in a very loud voice (presumably so that the other customers could hear - a pressure tactic?) and refused to hand over the payment machine for me to put in the amount ("because of Covid") and then made me tell her the amount of the tip twice (increasing volume) before she put the amount in - and then gave me a "face", with the words "OK, really?" when I told her the amount. Very rude. First, most businesses will hand the payment machine to customers. At your other restaurants, this happens all the time. This gives some privacy to customers. What if I had to use my PIN? Was I supposed to tell your employee my PIN out loud? Obviously not. This was clearly some sort of pressure tactic. Which brings me to my second point: I really don't like being pressured to tip more. I'm fairly reasonable tipper, so it's not the money. What offends me is the thought that that your employee wanted a large tip and tried to embarrass me to accomplish this end. Lastly, the rudeness. I normally tip fairly - even at takeout restaurants. However, I could do without the eye-rolling, the none-too-subtle looks exchanged with other customers waiting in line and generally poor attitude. We really like the food from Through Thick and Thin - and order from you at least 3 times per month. We are semi-regulars at other Wolfe family restaurants. However, now.....I'm not so sure. read more

Disappointing. I was excited to try because I'd heard good things but it was not worth the price. We got got the 18" NY style Canadian and there were only 3 or 4 soggy pepperoni on each giant slice with 1 to two pieces of raw bacon strips. For over $40 you would think you'd get a few more toppings. It was somehow burnt and undercooked at the same time. read more

You probably don't deserve to eat this. If you start with the triple peperoni - it might take a while to get to anything else on the menu. Crust is nearly as good as Buddy's in Detroit - toppings are several levels up, I'm neutral on the sauce. Overall A (easily). read more

Have ordered a few times to try different flavours. Quality ingredients but somehow not executed well. On the deep dish chicken pesto the pesto was so flat I question what it was made with. It's not basil. The roasted chicken has more flavour so we gave that pizza a 2 the second pizza was the company deep dish or the Big Mac rip off... delicious but salty af and needed white onions. We have that pizza 4. The deep dish are amazing the crust on these things are truly incredible and the feature of butter chicken they had was perfection but for 2 pizzas /$80 they need to be spot on every time and they just aren't hitting right. read more

Swing & a miss. I ordered a small thin crust pizza for take away. They would not add one item to my pizza in spite of the fact it was an ingredient they had on hand, so this was the first strike. When I got there, I waited for 10 minutes for a pizza that was already out of the oven & boxed. Strike two. When I saw the size of the box, I asked if that was for a small pizza since the box was so huge. The counter person said, no, that was for a large. When I said I had ordered a small, she blew me off, blamed it on speaking on the phone through a mask & basically said better luck next time - but it seemed odd that placing an order for a small pizza in my home when I wasn't wearing a mask got so confused she placed the order for a large - unless, of course, she was wearing a mask that covered her ears. By the time I got my pizza home (cold, due to the unnecessary wait), I discovered although the sauce was good & the pepperoni was plentiful, this was not even close to a thin crust pizza - it had a regular crust. So the small thin crust pizza I ordered that they would not put onions on cost me $28.00. So strike three. Through Thick & Thin Pizza, you're outta there. This place is clearly for young people wanting to try the latest trend. I daresay the more experienced diner (geezerheads), would not return since we don't care to be treated with insouciance by staff, we don't care to be bamboozled by claims of a certain style of crust & served up something else & with so many other choices in London for a pizza the way you want it, why would we return? read more

oof. was looking forward to this place opening for some time now. i was able to get an order in yesterday as soon as online ordering opened up. quickly grabbed a new york style in the deluxe. the online order form defaults you to a tip of like 20% or 25% (or you can pick an amount as well if you're paying attention) even though you have to go pick it up yourself. I ordered quickly and picked the 10% tip option since I knew the wait times would be piling up. They closed online orders shortly after I submitted my order. But boy am I super disappointed! First the good. It's a big pie! Quality is top notch. Nice large slices. Great looking ingredients. Very nice crust. Looks great. Smells great. But they ruined the most important part: The flavour! It's awfully salty :( There's no way this could be the intention. I think they must have messed this up for my order somehow. I wonder if they spilled salt on it. The overwhelming saltiness completely ruined the flavour and experience. There were pockets of pizza deliciousness but most bites were just really overpowered by the salty. Not enjoyable :( I don't recommend the deluxe for that reason. Not sure if it's the parm or the pepperoni; there's a lots of pepperoni on this. I'm willing to give them another chance with different toppings; probably go meatless. I'd kinda like that tip back....? read more
