Pro tip: The speed is free on Sundays. My daughter was inspired by some community artwork with mixed media on canvas. We showed a picture of the inspiration to Ms Audrey. She had the perfect materials and know-how to help us create our own masterpiece, inspired by the art we saw at the museum. My daughter did not want to do anything else in the city besides make art with Ms Audrey- we even skipped the children's museum. We learned different techniques for using the materials and I'll definitely be incorporating them as we continue to create at home. Ms Audrey helps you not only bring beauty into the world, but she makes learning a new craft accessible step by step. Her process helps you create while expanding your crafting skills along the way. With odds and ends tucked in every corner, and rooms that look like you shouldn't go in but can and are filled with antiques of all different varieties. There didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the chaos that is The Olde General Store. It was neat to look around though and see all the offerings. I loved some of the old farm tools and wished I was more artsy to create some neat repurposed projects but alas walked out with my bank account still intact.

On top of all that, I forgot my plates, cups, wine opener, napkin... Pretty much everything at home! And she dug around to find all of that for us. There are about 25 vendors selling hand made crafts along with 1 food vendor and a popcorn vendor. Plenty of seating out by the water fountain to enjoy your food or just relax. For the kids they offer FREE pumpkin painting and it looks like the kids pumpkins are free as well. Speaking of FREE, they even have Free coffee, hot chocolate and hot apple cider. And it's hitting the spot on a cool Fall day. The bathrooms here at the pavilion are top notch. And they are super clean and well stocked with paper also! With plenty of parking and the quality of items offered this is a must attend event that I'll be looking forward to attending next year. The crafts range from simple to complex, and every craft is very independent! Avoid if you're not into loud noises as the work space is a little small and others and their crafts will be making lots of noise! (Especially the hammer for the leather works!) I've never had a drink here I didn't love, but the espresso martini especially is one of my favorites in the city. Really mellow flavor and very foamy.
