This is the best park for your kids. We love it. We moved from Cedar to St. George a month ago. We picked our home location to be close to this park. Also is a great spot for Pokemon Go. The only think that I don't like is it's hard to tell where my three year old has wondered off too. If you have younger kids just know it's not a sit in one spot park. It's hard to see your child in one area. You defiantly have to walk around the park to keep a close eye out on little ones. read more

I wish they had parks like this when I was a kid! Popped in here when I wanted to catch up with a friend in the Zion area, and she had her kids with her. Meeting up at a park was perfect for them to run around while we caught up. This free public park is an all-abilities park with a water feature area (more than just a splash pad), various climbing structures, slides, swings, zip lines, and even a train ($1/ride). The slides and swings and stuff have traditional seating along with those that allow for those with disabilities to partake- hence the "all abilities" thing. It really is quite an impressive place. read more

This park is amazing!!!! I wish we had one where we lived. My kids played for hours and never got tired of the park. They have a little snack shack where they sell drinks and little bags of chips etc.. the slides and equipment does get hot in the sun but some of it was still bearable. Train rides are shut down for a few hours during the hottest hours of the day but when it opens up its $1 per ride. Love the dinosaur theme and the waterfalls! The volcano I think is supposed to do something but didn't when we were there. The park was very clean and they clean each seat after each train ride as well. read more

There is not enough shade or seating areas for parent or caregivers to watch the kids. I love that it is big and all inclusive but when we went the train wasn't running and there were some obnoxious older kids running through the splash area getting the younger kids and parents soaked..we ended up leaving and having a nice picnic just outside the play area with shade and walked around the park. We will be there again but maybe on a weekday and stay away from rowdy older kids who have no regard for the little ones. It was very clean I noticed and parking was easy. read more

Absolutely perfect park. We went to the picnic area closer to the cemetery. There is plenty of seating for eating and watching kids at playground. Ample shade so it's cool & pleasant for little kids & seniors! Will go back!!! read more

Took the kids to thunder junction today while passing through St. George. We were absolutely blown away by this park! We had so much fun exploring and playing on the unique attractions. The train ride was one of our favorites as well as the splash park. We will definitely be back! read more

Basically an amusement park for free!! This is the best park I have ever been to, I'm so impressed that a county can put together something of this caliber. The park contains a playground, splash pad, volcano, musical nature walk, garden, and is surrounded by a diesel train that costs a dollar a ride. The playground is special needs friendly, with wheelchair accessible toys and others like swings and a zip line that have secure seats with safety bars on them. The volcano "erupts" every 45 minutes or so thanks to fog machines that point out the top. A series of handicap friendly slides leave from the side of the volcano. As an adult I was able to enjoy every bit of this park even in 98 degrees, so imagine how much more your children will enjoy it! read more

Super FUN & SAFE play area for kids of all ages!!! This park is very well laid out, clean and creative environment. There are so much activities for kids to do here, enough to keep them occupied and busy for hours while grownups can sit, relax and enjoy watching their little ones. The landscaping and different play structures are absolutely beautiful!!! Children will have a blast playing and exploring here I promise. Enjoyment can be contagious u guys!!! So warning...lol!!! Just bring your kids here and experience it for yourself. It would be a shame to miss this lovely park if you're living locally or visiting St. George. read more

I must start with the worst part of this place, which is that it can be difficult to get to. The street that leads to the park has no names on them and you cannot see much from the street. You basically have to drive into a cemetery and just before getting there turn right towards the park. Now going into the park is free. There is so many things for your kids to play with. There are slides, different kinds of swings, rope slides, music section, splash pad and a train. The whole place has a dinosaur theme with stuff everywhere and a volcano on top of the big slides. The volcano erupts with steam and dinosaur sounds every 30 minutes. The slash pad is pretty big and my son loved playing there the most. As it gets warmer the splash pad gets pretty packed with people. The train costs $1 per ride and is totally worth it. The train goes around the whole park, is pretty long and has cool things to see along the way. Overall, this is a great park for the whole family. I would probably not go when it is too hot or during the really busy days but still a great place. read more

This is an amazing park! We took the kids here while visiting family in St. George. The entire time I kept wishing we had an amazing park like this at home. The park is clean, spacious, has plenty of picnic space and best of all is made for all shapes, sizes and abilities! I love how inclusive this park felt. It was great to get to play on the structures and swings WITH our kids, but also know that if we wanted to sit comfortably in the shade, they'd be able to play safely on their own too! There is so much to do here that I cannot imagine any kid ever getting bored. We came after train hours, on a weekday, so it wasn't crowded at all. Next time we are in town visiting family we will definitely re-visit this park! read more

This is hands down the best park I have ever been to! I took my two year old, his grandparents, my husband and my two sisters. We had so much fun. There is so much to do. We were visiting from California and the whole time we were thinking why don't we have these kind of parks in California?!! There are numerous slides, swings and a sensory garden. I love the parent and child dual swing. If you are in St.George and you have a child, you definitely want to come here. A neat park with lots of fun equipment, but seems like theres a lot of wasted space too. Its crowded a lot and sometimes kids have to wait or try and find something else to play on because of the amount of other kids. There are lots of other parks in town thay don't have the mass amounts of children and just as cool of choices in equipment that weve gone here once or twice for the experience, but usually pass for a less crowded park. read more

Wow coolest park ever! My 2 year old for the next week or so kept talking about how she wanted to go back to this park because it was so cool. There is tons of different things to do. Tons of different types of swings, spinning toys, rocking ones, just everything a kid could dream of and more. Dinosaurs figures all over to make it's super fun and you can't forget the awesome volcano right in the middle of the park. Something I didn't know before going is there is a cool little splash pad that is perfect for the kids. It's just a small size but when it gets real hot like when we were there perfect for the kids to cool off. My only disappointment was the train. They need more stuff to look at on the train ride. Your paying a dollar a person just to ride the train with nothing to look at. They should add some more dinosaurs to look at that would make it a lot more entertaining and would justify the dollar spent. Overall such a cool park and would literally be amazing if your kid is 5-12 years old. My daughter is two and some of the things we're a little too big kid for her but besides that it's a awesome park. read more

Came in from Las Vegas for just a quick little turn around trip with my husband and kids. There was plenty of shade, the park was very clean and the water was a nice temperature. Fall break visit with our grandsons along with everyone else from the Wasatch Front. Crowded, but lots of fun. The name is kind of a misnomer...my grandsons call it 'The Dinosaur Park', which fits well. Our only mishap is when my 3-yr old grandson pinched his fingers in the 'rolling-pin ride', (the orange toy with rollers along the bottom). My opinion is that it is not kid-friendly and not safe, so beware. Overall, it's like a free amusement park. I couldn't believe they didn't charge an admission, and kept asking myself, how is this funded? It seems like it would be free for locals, with a nominal admission fee for visitors. read more

I am shocked St. George has such an awesome amusement park that is perfect for kids to explore! And did I mention it's free? With a huge volcano that actually erupts, caves, musical instruments, climbing wall, and even a train...you can spend hours here exploring. The train costs just one dollar per person and it takes about 5 minutes to ride around the park. In the summer they turn on the water, and it becomes a splash pad area. We visited for the first time on Christmas day and had the entire park to ourselves! When we went back a day later the place was totally packed and it was hard to find parking, but we still had a great time and even brought some food to have a picnic. Overall this place was a huge hit and we will definitely return on our next visit to St. George! read more

This is the park where local parents with kids of all abilities can play together for free. The large park offers slides, swings, splash pad, zip lines, and more for kids with and without disabilities. If you plan on coming with your kids in the early morning then bring a beach towel or bath sheet towel to wipe off condensations from the slides and swings. There is ample shade but be careful with some plastic slides exposed to sun because they are hit in the afternoon. The splash pad has shaded alcoves on one end and a T-Rex Head at the other. There are 5 slides of various heights. I could not believe they had a zip line to a rope and a disc for kids to stand on. There was a second zip line connected to a disability seat. There is a train that costs a few dollars to ride. Riders must be at least 42" tall to ride solo. My family loves to explore this park. We will definitely be back in the spring and fall to play with friends and family. read more

We adore this park and make it a point to stop every time we are on a road trip. The splash pad is great, the play equipment is fabulous, and the train a favorite for my kids. However, the employees that run the train station are very... .... Hands down the strangest customer service I have ever experienced. During the train ride/tour there were some very questionable things shared by the guide over the speakers.
