I couldn't ask any of my Pendleton Pals to pick me up at 3:30 in the morning to drive me the 70 miles. You can't beat this Courtyard for airport convenience. If I didn't have a heavy suitcase, I could have walked it and arrived in about 5-10 minutes. No need to walk; the hotel provides a free shuttle that runs every half hour starting at 4 in the morning. Can't review breakfast but the room and sheets were clean, the bed comfortable, the shower hot and powerful. The Bistro's chicken sandwich and fries were more than adequate saving me the trouble to get a Lyft to take me to a finer restaurant.

They sell bottles of wine for $10 and microwave meals like Mac & cheese for $5, which the kids were fine with, and ice cream sandwiches/bars for $2, we learned from our friends/team mates traveling with us about the super-long-lines & wait times at the local restaurants (due to our event), and decided to dine-in for a fraction of the cost/time and enjoyed the east-side-sunshine we Western Washington folks never see, while the kids played. There's local dining within walking distance, but with large events going on, it seemed the locals here in Pasco weren't staffed ready to accommodate. If you've read my reviews of hotels I'm kind of a clean freak about having toilets accessible near the swimming pool (who wants to swim with kids peeing in a pool?) and this hotel does it right: there's a restroom with a shower INSIDE the pool area!!! Love it! There's another hotel closer in proximity to the TRAC convention center, but based on our experience, I'd stay here again if I was in the area. For instance, the large suite we booked in Walnut Creek last week included a concierge lounge, which had snacks and drinks all day long. With this booking, all you get is the room, which is a very nice room by the way. Okay, they did give us some certificates for free pancakes in the morning or a free dessert for dinner. I used one once. There is an icebox down the hallway with pre-bagged ice that fills the rooms' ice buckets. Room service is available. The property is located adjacent to the Columbia Point Marina Park, a nice boat landing and beautiful park. A few restaurants are nearby within walking distance. There's a 24-hour Winco just down the street, which is very handy. Our suite included a wet bar, microwave and refrigerator. Two bathrooms was a must for us, which is one of the reasons we booked this room. Even the guest bath has a shower, which is very nice. The bedroom has a sliding door that closes off the living area. The room includes a gas fireplace, which was very nice to have. There's a good sized balcony with a perfect river/park view, two chairs and a table. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Be careful of their Riva restaurant, it's kind of weird. I've never had an untraditional lox bagel sandwich like theirs, and I didn't like it. They also thinly sliced and cooked the ham until it was brown! Whoever heard of brown ham? You might want to ask them how things are prepared before you order. The elevators are as slow as possible; even slower. We had some issues with our room. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom was extremely loud, but they were able to fix that upon our request. The toilet seat in the guest bath is almost falling off. No matter what we tried, the main bathroom shower leaked all over the floor and onto the bedroom carpeting. And, the television is full of large white dots all over the place. The front desk said they are already aware of the television issues, and are working on replacing them. You can search YouTube for "Room 233 at the Lodge at Columbia Point" to see my video of the room. The bed was very comfortable, and they gave us nice pillows. The wet bar included paper towels, real dishes and silverware. The couch folds out to a bed. There are no electrical plug outlets or USB ports at the side tables near the bed; that wasn't good. The map and numbering system is confusing. But we made it to room 3230. Ice machine closest to us is broken. Got in the room and its HOT. Took a good 3 by t hours to cool down. I would call ahead to see if they can turn the AC on in your room ( its june). While unloading our keys got deactivated.. had to go back to the front desk and get it fixed. He said they get deactivated easily with other cards and phones. We're also asked for a rolling bed, security has go go get it but they said theyre all out. Hopefully will get one tonight. The room is decent.

We arrived on Thursday morning around 10am, and the room was ready to go! They told us the rules, the pool information, and the breakfast schedule, gave us 2 keys and off we go! We opted out of the room service, but they ALWAYS made sure we had enough towels. Which was amazing! The pool was a perfect temperature, and we had it all to ourselves for a little under an hour! Which was great! The breakfast, isn't anything to write home about, but it was filling and proportionate...The pancake make is a trip! lol! They had Darigold Chocolate milk! I have stayed at this hotel three times as I go back-and-forth between California and Montana each…read morespring and fall. I travel with my dogs and need an option that is on and off the freeway quickly but close to an outdoor dining option. This hotel meets all the criteria and in addition the breakfast is fantastic, the rooms are very clean and the staff is great. Additionally, the hotel is dog friendly and very close to a great park where we walk the dogs after a long day in the car. The few restaurants nearby have a small outdoor patio so it works, even though the food isn't outstanding, it works since we are just passing through for one night. We will continue to use this as our stop over for the travel between states!
