For instance, the large suite we booked in Walnut Creek last week included a concierge lounge, which had snacks and drinks all day long. With this booking, all you get is the room, which is a very nice room by the way. Okay, they did give us some certificates for free pancakes in the morning or a free dessert for dinner. I used one once. There is an icebox down the hallway with pre-bagged ice that fills the rooms' ice buckets. Room service is available. The property is located adjacent to the Columbia Point Marina Park, a nice boat landing and beautiful park. A few restaurants are nearby within walking distance. There's a 24-hour Winco just down the street, which is very handy. Our suite included a wet bar, microwave and refrigerator. Two bathrooms was a must for us, which is one of the reasons we booked this room. Even the guest bath has a shower, which is very nice. The bedroom has a sliding door that closes off the living area. The room includes a gas fireplace, which was very nice to have. There's a good sized balcony with a perfect river/park view, two chairs and a table. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Be careful of their Riva restaurant, it's kind of weird. I've never had an untraditional lox bagel sandwich like theirs, and I didn't like it. They also thinly sliced and cooked the ham until it was brown! Whoever heard of brown ham? You might want to ask them how things are prepared before you order. The elevators are as slow as possible; even slower. We had some issues with our room. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom was extremely loud, but they were able to fix that upon our request. The toilet seat in the guest bath is almost falling off. No matter what we tried, the main bathroom shower leaked all over the floor and onto the bedroom carpeting. And, the television is full of large white dots all over the place. The front desk said they are already aware of the television issues, and are working on replacing them. The wet bar included paper towels, real dishes and silverware. The couch folds out to a bed. There are no electrical plug outlets or USB ports at the side tables near the bed; that wasn't good. However we were woken very early at 06.15 with deliveries/staff arrivals occurring beneath our room (204) which was an issue. However when we requested a room move the staff could not have been more efficient and obliging and the following night we slept until 09.30! The whole hotel is spotlessly clean. I ate in the bar one evening (interesting and tasty non typical bar food - very positive comment!) and my server was a lovely bubbly and chatty lady who took an interest in my conversation. I travel with my dogs and need an option that is on and off the freeway quickly but close to an outdoor dining option. This hotel meets all the criteria and in addition the breakfast is fantastic, the rooms are very clean and the staff is great. Additionally, the hotel is dog friendly and very close to a great park where we walk the dogs after a long day in the car. The few restaurants nearby have a small outdoor patio so it works, even though the food isn't outstanding, it works since we are just passing through for one night. We will continue to use this as our stop over for the travel between states!

We found a better rate and then booked with BW. I submitted the form with screenshots to prove the price difference. Please see below for the advertising of price match on BW website. The screen shot of the better price. And the price of bw for the same day. We put on the reservation we had a service animal but upon arrival they were very short stuff us and proceeded to bounce us around rooms to accommodate the animal we had already informed them of. And they proceeded to charge an Additional $250 local fee. We had moved to spokane but were in the area to sell our home. Not locals but they didn't listen. In the end they charged us $434.00. For a room that was not the one advertised or that we paid for. When the price match peeps got back to me they have only argued with me over the price match. They said the price had to be available when they reviewed it days later in order to price match. Meaning my limited low price on Super.com was no longer available 3 days later so they won't honor it. Even with a screen shot. See emails below. Then they told me the super.com was sold out and that's why they wouldn't honor. Then told me it was not a better price. So they wouldn't honor it. See below the price difference is clear. BW before tax: 164.15 Super before tax 146.74 BW after tax: 184.88 Super after tax 164.58 Both show Super lower. So that email is wrong completely. Then the service and room were so bad. It was not the room we paid for. They moved us. Treated us like we annoyed them. So we checked out and left that day. We didn't stay the night. We still have a 434.00 charge on our card. They haven't sent the fee back yet. They told us 4 different prices. On BM receipts say 164.15. Then 184.88. Then 219.88. They charged us over 400$ We didn't even stay. And they are giving me the runaround about the guarantee still and about the way our stay went. For such a big company they are truly showing how they will fight and be stingy even if they are wrong. They say price match in the listings. They even give you a quick run down of the rules for it. But then they hide behind this little stipulation in the fine print that says "if the price matches when they review it..." so however many days they decide to wait before they review it.... if it still matches after that, then they honor the price match.
