Sure, I wish it were downtown instead, but in this day and age it's sometimes nice just to have a place where you can talk face-to-face with a real person. (And when I come out here to the 'burbs, it's a great excuse to grab a bite to eat at Guaca Mole!) Anyway, as for Fidelity in general, these nice people babysit a nice chunk of my net worth, and they seem to do a pretty good job of it. Plenty of low-fee funds. They don't ever try to steer me into anything stupid. Vanguard still might be my fave, but I'm pretty faithful to Fidelity (get it?). If you ever feel the desire to hug a broker, you could do a lot worse than a visit to Forest Green Blvd.

If you don't do that, they never respond to email. Morgan Stanley's e-sign program has more bugs than an old rotten log and is frankly impossible to use. I was excited to work with Morgan Stanley in Louisvile but soon discovered it's like leaving your money with Mable at the Mayberry RFD bank. Never use these people.

This place is terrible. Poor business practices and unprofessional. The tracked down an old work number and have called over 100 times in a matter of a few days. Despite being told that this person no longer works here and that it is a business line and their constant (over 45 calls in an 8 hour period) calls are disruptive, they still keep calling. They have been told to remove the number multiple times and yet the calls continue. My next review will be sent to the BBB.

When I went to buy my 1st house, I went thru 3 different lenders that I decided not to use because I couldn't understand what they was telling me about the loans. That scared me, I was thinking, I am not going to feel comfortable signing anything if I don't understand everything. Purchasing a house is huge and the last thing I want is to get tricked into signing a lot of papers that I don't understand.
