I went two weeks ago with my daughter. I got a French pedi and she got a shellac mani. I loved my pedicure. She took her time and did a fabulous job. For my pedi I would give a five star. My daughter's shellac lasted a week. The shellac closest to her skin was getting caught in her hair and clothes=whole nail shellac coming off at once. It lasted a week. For my daughter's mani I would give a 1 star. Hence, combined rating of 3 stars. read more

I do not normally like to write a bad review, but...I just spent an hour and $20 for a woman in this salon to completely massacre my natural nails. First she was so preoccupied by the tv show that I had to keep redirecting her. Then she started to take the dreamel to them, I said that I did not want it to touch my nail, she assured me that she would 'only a little bit'. I have deep furrows, flat lines and pits on each of my nails now that will take months to grow out. Not one single nail is smooth, beautiful and healthy as they were when I walked in this morning. She wasn't even able to file the edges in a uniform manner. Disappointed is an understatement, more like heartbroken! Won't be back, not even for a free service, not worth it! read more

This was my first time here and I usually go to a different place but I thought I would try somewhere new. It was a nice nail spa and the people were friendly but I wouldn't say it was an exceptional place. One thing I didn't like was that they didn't have a palette of gel colors to look at so you just had to choose a color by just looking at the nail polish bottles. Also my accent nail wasn't the color I asked for. Overall this place is alright, but I'm going to stick to my usual nail salon. Wow surprised with so many negative reviews! I had been doing gel nails at home not having much luck- not as strong as I needed and she did a regular acrylic full set. it has been 2 weeks - now no chips- nothing- I was impressed. she said I could supplement with the gel- for fills- and just come in as needed. and I am talking about the owner. one poster is correct, there is some children that do run around in the salon but when I was there they did keep them under control.... she did also do some personal business while doing my nails but I see that happening more and more anywhere you go.. the level of professionalism isn't like it used to be read more

This is the THIRD time I have been here. Its conveniently close to my work, so naturally I decided to try it the first time. The first time, a gal did my pedicure, it was fast, and well done. Since the first time was a decent experience - I decided to tell my co-worker to join me after work. I had a gentleman do my pedicure, my coworker had a female. Hers looked like a million bucks. Meanwhile, dude painted my toes and the end product was not glossy, but, a "wavy" finish. I told him about it, and he "fixed" it-- not really, he just added more top coat and looked awful. At that point, I didn't want him to "fix" anything else. I really wanted the gal to do my pedicure. My third time, and likely last time- I decided on French pedicure... Bc it's really hard to mess up a white line--- Anyway, I reluctantly had the same dude again. Instead of saying I'd wait for some other person other than him, I gave him another chance. He uses cuticle trimmers to cut your toenails, and cuticles, but not much pushing back of cuticles. He files polish off that is hard to remove, and doesn't fully buff the file lines out. He did a decent white line, but WTF, the clear coat looks practically matte and I can see the file lines. Only ONE coat was applied too. This will be the last time I come here, I'd rather drive further and go to the citadel mall, where I know the work will look good. So bummed this place is so close, and I can't come here without hesitation, it would have to be desperation. All their FB reviews are awesome, but looks like Yelp is nailing my experience here too. read more

Charged $40 (after I complained originally wanted to charge $50) for a manicure and pedicure after cutting 2 cuticles on my right hand I could of done better job myself. According to the website they are supposed to be able to do nail art but since they could not do what I originally wanted (even asked if it would be easier to do design with acrylic nails she seemed like she didn't know what I was talking about) I had to change design to something easier the nails should of been free after cutting cuticles way too short that they were bleeding WILL NOT GO HERE AGAIN!!! read more

This is my 2nd visit and again, Thuy did a great job. My last manicure lasted well past 3 weeks. I find everyone to be nice and friendly.

Always accommodating, pleasant and excellent work. Thuys is a favorite-one I will miss when I move from the area.

This is by far the absolute worst nail place that I have ever been to. I went in with my two daughters to get pedicures and they acted like they didn't know how to do any nail design. They refused to do stars for my one daughter but did them for my other daughter. One daughter was not happy with her eyebrow wax. The tech told her she would not trim them with scissors. They did a horrible job on just plain lines in my pedicure. I'm sure our one tech was there against her will. I kept asking her if she was ok. I think this place is really shady. I'm very picky when it comes to acrylic nails. Thuy always does an AMAZING job, everyone is always so friendly and makes sure you are satisfied before you walk out the door. When i've had a broken nail (we've all done it) it's been replaced no questions asked and taken care of. I've had the same set on for over 6 months now and my acrylics are still going strong! The colors are limited BUT they are always fresh polish. You know her polish doesn't just sit around.When i've gotten the shellac done on the acrylic's i have never had any issue with them chipping, and i'm always impressed with how little the fake nails have lifted since i've had them. Just moved here from California. I live literally down the street from this place so I thought I'd give it a try. There was no wait they finished my mani/pedi in an exceptional amount of time and the manicurist took his time doing my nails seeing that I had a pretty painful cut on the top of my hand. Such and awesome nail salon! They do so much for so cheap. I'm from Texas and at our nail salons they don't cut your cuticles, do the hot towels or nearly take as much time yet Texas charges the same price ($35). I would have gladly paid more to get my nails done here :) read more

I was really concerned before I went in because of the reviews, but I had a gift certificate. They were all so friendly and remembered my name the whole time. I got a pedicure to pamper my swollen, pregnant feet. It definitely helped and they did a wonderful job. So happy I went in. read more

Thuy has been doing my nails for about 2 years now, she does an excellent job! I get acrylic nails/fill-ins and they are always done nice and thin (they don't look like chicklets!). I've never had a fungus or any issues. Fill-in prices are very reasonable too, at $25. Although it is a busy place, Thuy always tries to find time to fit me in. I have been there many times when they are busy, she tries very hard to work people in. I've never seen her be rude to anyone, she actually jokes around with people which is nice for a change when getting nails done! read more

I have been a customer for many, many years and would never think about going anywhere else. I am always treated so well!!! I regularly schedule my appointments, but when something comes up, Thuy will always do her best to fit me in if possible. The salon has a calm, relaxed atmosphere and I always come out in a much better mood than when I walked in. Rude and condescending service, then they blame their behaviors on cultural differences..nope! Did a mani, pedi and my nails were all different lengths, polish on cuticles that were not properly done, did not cut to what was requested. Feet, what a joke same issues but even worse because of no attention to areas that needed attention. Was a rush job and didnt even bother with working on slightly cracked, dry heals. Guess you shouldn't come at the end of the day when no one wants anymore customers. So many more places that will treat you with respect and do an amazing job that will actually meet your expectations. Do not recommend. 1st off owner is nice but is very painful. She has no regard for what she is doing and how rough she is. She ruined my nail beds. Then there is a couple (man & women) who have 2 children and use the salon as daycare. Considering the kids are either running around or crying you would think they would be a more child friendly salon. Profession and appeared clean. I didn't exactly get the pedicure I was hoping for, but I have yet to find the perfect place that properly removes ingrowns. The polish colors were more limited than I would have liked- I suggest bringing your own. It was quiet and comfortable though and I didn't have to wait on a weekday afternoon.
