Matt B. and I got married last month, and Tic Tock played the crucial role of our florist. Eddie was great to work with, and he and his team did a beautiful job on our big day. Our wedding was in Santa Barbara, but Tic Tock is right by us in Hollywood, on La Brea near Franklin. I visited the shop once to see a mock-up, and I got to see behind the scenes. Tic Tock is more of an event florist than a flower shop where you can walk in and buy a bouquet. The store is accordingly not designed for retail, but it is gorgeous and fragrant, with gardens and gardens of flowers filling it wall to wall. The mock-up was pleasant. We had a comfortable place to sit and Eddie showed me a centerpiece and a bouquet he'd made after consulting with my planner, who had consulted with me. I had like one tweak for the centerpiece that he ended up following, but left everything else to him. I was very happy with what I'd seen. He sent me home with a beautiful bouquet, just because. If there were any mistakes on the wedding day, I never heard a peep about them. Eddie and his team did a stunning job with the bouquets and the arrangements for both ceremony and reception. I had an exquisite, heavy bouquet centered around garden roses. My bridesmaids had lovely peach-colored flowers that complemented their dresses, and my flower girls had matching garlands for their hair. Tic Tock covered the ceremony walkway with a thick ombré carpet of petals. Our high heels speared them as we took our places. Two urns of flowers stood on both sides, and these were taken into the reception area after the ceremony. The reception flowers involved tall giant centerpieces bursting with flowers, and smaller arrangements in mint julep cups. It was all perfect, and I couldn't have been happier. If you're looking for a florist to fulfill your wildest Pinterest dreams, Eddie is your man. Our wedding would not have been the same without the vision and artistry of the Tic Tock team. read more

And with in minutes my Mom, Mother in law, Sister and I knew we were going to end up using Tic-Tock for my flowers arrangements. I've seen his work online and always loved it. I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism until I met with tictoc unfortunately. This is my experience: my initial call was taken by Mina. She chuckled at the fact that I'm having 150 guests at a larger well known venue. After calling a few more times since someone was supposed to get back to me and no one did. Finally Jennifer did. Of course they only do in-person consultation and my husband and I drove out all the way from Orange County. We were greeted and sat down. We started the meeting she asked me what I did for work I mentioned real estate and she disagreed how that's not the business to be in but the wedding business is. Keep in mind we drove from Orange County and were ready to be shown some things and not hear awkward remarks. Although it was nice that Jen shared about her own wedding it seemed she just mainly continued to talk about that than asking us more about our ideas and wishes. I tried to share some pics I had on my phone and Jen took some notes down. After about 30 min Jen mentioned we were about $6800 and she was going to write us 3 different proposals with the different options we discussed. She said she was going to Orange County in the following weekend when she would be able to pick up a deposit and I assured her again to let me know when so I can be prepared. I asked her at the end what makes them any different from other surrounding florists who specialize in Weddings and her response after getting flustered was that one particular florist by a name I don't need to mention is more to the celebrities and the "waw" factor and at tic-toc your known to be taken care of, which clearly was not the case with my visit, plus what bride doesn't want a Waw factor! My husband wondered what the point of this visit was and why it couldn't be handled on the phone since she didn't show us anything, not even images as a reference to what we were looking for. Anyways we gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for those quotes. A week and a half later, no response. I finally reached out to see why I haven't heard back and the response I got was the following. (See photos of text msgs). Jen said they are not able to do my wedding. No reason no response until I was the one to reach out. And just bye! No proposal no numbers nothing. I reached out to the studio and Mina answered telling me Jen will call me back she was driving. Jen calls me and she said there was miscommunication and the proposal is already written up she just needs to get "her butt into the office" verbatim and send it right away. Waited all three day holiday weekend, all the way until Thursday and still nothing! She tells me on the phone that they usually have a starting minimum of 8k but if they like the couple they can be flexible with the pricing. I mentioned to her that money is not an issue. Keep in mind she never mentioned this to me in all previous communication at all! Not even at our initial meeting. Then she says her boss doesn't want to work on Labor Day weekend, which is not even on the same weekend as our wedding. Then she was supposed to send those proposals and didn't send anything. Her final msg is that they have been discussing my event the last few days. Really what a presidential discussion guys. I will make sure to divert anyone from your business! Good luck in life. He thinks hes the Father Nature of flowers so he is SUPERRR expensive.....for my wedding i was promised me the best.....he discribed my wedding to resemble the gardeen of eden.....He charged me $1,800 for my center peices! My mother received an arrangement for her birthday. It arrived late and the flowers were very wilted and looked smashed -- like they hadn't been taken care of in transit. Since it was a gift, she didn't want to say anything, but considering the cost of this type of gift I felt the need to speak up. I called the number on the card and a woman answered. We weren't looking for any compensation or anything like that, just wanted this issue to be addressed because it's infuriating to spend this kind of $$ on a gift and arrive at this state... And then this lady had the AUDACITY to accuse my mother of messing it up herself. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? LOL. Then she lied and said "well, why did she call me and tell me it was beautiful and she loved it?" What...................? So we sent her photos and she called and was accusing my mom of all kinds of things, then ended with "there was nothing wrong with the flowers". Excuse me? If you have EYEBALLS and you can SEE OUT OF THEM then you should see that there's a problem. I then asked her how she had the audacity to accuse her of messing it up and she said "well, I didn't say that." So now my mom is a crook and I'm a liar :) what a pleasant woman to deal with! ON TOP OF THAT, the delivery guy said to my mom, "who's M. K.? I don't think you're her, I need to see your drivers license to confirm." ??!??!?! That's rude and uncalled for. I have no problem with people and companies making mistakes... It happens, but you have to own up to it. Again, we did not want compensation -- it was a gift. We wanted her to address the fact that they made a mistake, whether it was on the delivery part or the arranging part... The fact that she blatantly took turns accusing everybody but herself just shows me that she doesn't care about her customers in spite of the high premium they're paying for these arrangements. read more

Tic-Tock does beautiful arrangements, that is very true. I had not ordered from them in years, but in a time crunch I ordered for the same day delivery, which happened. The arrangement was delivered fine, it was not the colors I had asked for but nonetheless, it was a nice arrangement. On day two, the arrangement started to smell and started to fall apart. My wife called on day three just to give them a "heads-up" was told to email pictures and that was the end of that. That was over 30 days ago and still no response. Customer service should be a priority and consistent across the board, whether you're a customer for one arrangement or a big order, customer service is very important and should be consistent. With Tic-Tock, the customer service was great when they were taking my order, but no response is not very cool. There are many floral vendors where the customer service is great from start to finish to afterwards. read more

This florist makes me want to say ehhh. That was my experience in 4 letters or less. Im a giver. I love to give flowers. I had heard of these guys before so I finally gave them a try. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone seemed to be in a hurry and was very quick with me on the phone. We were off to a bad start. I saw some of their lush designs online so I had to splurge a bit on the price. When it came time for delivery, the flowers did not show. Frustrating! I called the florist again and got them to get the flowers out the door in time before my poo bear left work. She says she loved the flowers and sent me a pic. She loved the flowers, but they were from me, so of course she loved them. However, I did not love the pic. Nothing like what I thought I was ordering from the website. Burst in here one afternoon just wanting to grab a few blossoms for a HS Senior Night and got the best service. I knew I was interrupting real arrangements, so I didn't want to be an inconvenience, but great help from the staff anyway. Told to select my loose flowers from their cooler, so I did and then the gentleman proceeded to arrange, add more sprigs (?), wrap, bow, and present them to me at a price that was way more reasonable than I imagined. To accommodate such a last minute client in such a generous way over a few small arrangement speaks volumes about the location and the people there. They designed my wedding and I was very happy with everything- pretty, professional and within my budget. They created multiple centerpieces, bouquets and a floral wall... that was all beautiful. I have guests still mentioning how phenomenal everything was that night. I trusted my team and they delivered. I was worried that they wouldn't be able to do it for my budget but I was wrong! I was also nervous because I was having a traditional Asian wedding and their team were able to understand and create all the things we needed for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. WHAT THE HECK MAN.......it was supposed to be something special for valentines day......i heard about this joint from a friend of mine and he told me its SUPER expensive but who cares when it comes to your girl once a year u know what i mean fellas?! We kind of started off on the wrong foot when he made me wait more than 30 min to take my order! After patiently waiting he asked me what i wanted with attitude and i was lost because i really didnt know? When he noticed i dint know too much about flowers i noticed him taking advantage of that fact....he was mentioning that the minimum order is $800 for today... .i knew it was gonna be expensive but reallllyyyy??? when i expressed shock towards the price he looked at me like im crazy and cheap....and saying his customers are paying in the range of $2,000-$5,000... After he mentioned that i was intimidated so i ended up buying the $800 arrangement and he had the nerve to tell me that there was an $85 dollar delivery fee plus tax???!!..... so i spent over $1000....for some stinking flowers that he wouldnt show me what it would look like but assured me that it would be out of this world and im getting the deal of the day..,,,,, So eventually i got them after the time he promised so we had to postpone our dinner reservations.........when we got the flowers i was in disarray and told the driver this cant be right....i payed over a $1000 for these flowers and it looked they got off some dude on a freeway off ramp.... i could not believe my eyes...it contained a total of 36 roses hydrangeas.....and a bunch of those cheap flower fillers, I called him the next day.....to express my frustration, he did not return my call all day...so i went there the following day and tried to talk to him and get my money back....he basically laughed at me and said theres no refund policy and escorted me to the door. Luckily i put this on my ammex so i'm disputing the charges......after doing my research and talking to people...i understand that this has happened in the past.....well i guess you live and you learn they say huh. read more

Terrible spot , told them my price range was $50 and they told me they could offer me a hand bouquet, I thought cool, no worries. Do-able... they set me up with dried out old roses with spotting already, and put it together with branches from a pine tree. That was the best they could do?? For $50?! I was fucking pissed man. I wish I coulda took a picture of them so everyone could see how terrible they were. Don't mean to trash on the business, but come on, at least give your customers some fresh flowers , ESPECIALLY IF YOURE ASKING FOR 50 DAMN BUCKS, and not with just branches from a pine tree. I went to this florist based on the positive reviews they had on Yelp. I was shocked at the VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I walked in this morning hoping to a get simple bouquet for my wedding at the courthouse today. He basically was very rude to me and insisted that I couldn't afford anything there. He was very unhelpful, regardless of how much I was going to spend, and had very poor manners. It's unfortunate how miserable and unpleasant he treated me, especially on the most important event of my life. Do yourself a favor and go to Parisian Florist! read more
