I manage an apartment community and we used Tick Tock at the recommendation of another manager that uses them on her site. From setting up (we have A LOT of paperwork to go through) with Katie, to scheduling with Luke, to confirmation from Aaron, this process could not have been easier!! Everyone at this company that I have worked with is not only very responsive but extremely polite and nice. The prices really can't be beat either. I had a similar company come out that we had used previously in an attempt to clear some junk and it cost double if not more to remove the same amount of junk. We had two dumpster corrals with what seemed like a full apartment or two of furniture. Everything from couches, to mattresses, to tires, you name it. I scheduled with Luke to come by Friday and by Thursday morning I had an email from Aaron that it was completed. I went and looked at the areas and they were PRISTINE. At the end of my move, I had a few last pieces of furniture that Salvation Army wouldn't take. I was stressed and running out of time so I started looking for a junk removal service. I quickly came across Tick-Tock, sent them an email with information about what I needed to have removed, and within 10 minutes I had a quote from Luke who said they could probably take it the next day (Friday) and definitely by Monday. I agreed, he sent the e-invoice, I paid, and at 5:45am the next morning (Friday) Cameron emailed to confirm my items had been removed. And just like that, I was FINALLY done with my move. Had an encounter with this company today. Was shocked to see them removing my friends belongings. Had no idea they had been hired by my friend. However in the end I found out that they were. But none the less the guy, who I think is an owner was a complete jerk. I was trying to contact my friends to find out what was up and while talking to them this guy comes at me with a complete attitude telling me I should just talk to him. Well guess what dude, anyone doing something bad is gonna lie so I thought I would just call the people I trust to tell me why someone is going through their stuff. This guy was abrasive and rude to say the least. A little business sense would suggest a calmer reaction from a business owner would be warranted in a sensitive situation. Luke is the kindest, easiest person to work with. He cares about doing the job right and making his customers happy. The crew is fast, efficient and always on time. This is the third time I've used Tick-Tock and they've always been absolutely professional and thorough. Once they came early in the morning and I don't know how, but my extremely sound-sensitive dogs didn't even hear them. I'm still trying to figure out how they maneuvered a pile of junk into a truck without making a sound. Luke and his team have always been able to come when I need them, even with little notice. Advance notice: I only got as far as requesting and receiving a quote from Tick Tock. I ended up not using their (or anyone's service). But I will say that Luke responded lightning-fast and in a personal fashion that made in clear that he was trying to understand my situation--in other words, the opposite of an automatic reply e-mail. The quote was very reasonable, and I would have gone with them if I had decided to dispose the debris. This was the worst experience of my life. I called this place to do a remival of things for a family friend who lost a loved one. Luke was very nice up until the point he got the credit card information. Then it was like someone flipped a switch. He was suddenly very rude and arrogant, and then the very next phone call it sounded like he was trying to disguise his voice with a really bad minnesota accent. Fast forward to the day of the job. He showed up with one employee and was very agitated the entire time, snapping at his employee (who was doing a fine job.) At one point i overheard him tell his employee to "hurry up so we can get to a real job. This place is a waste of my time!" And proceeded to go sit in the truck and made the poor employee finish alone. I even jumped in to help the poor kid, as his boss was expecting him to load couches alone! I will never use this company again. I have never been more insulted or felt so judged in my life! Update: im being harrassed by Luke in private messages. I can assure you im not a former employee, and its sad that he would throw some random apparent employees name out there rather than stand and admit his mistake. This is very sad and disheartening to see there are people like this who harrass others to make themselves appear without fault. Ill be praying for you at church in the morning,sir. I was very happy with Tick-Tock Junk Removal and their speedy reply to my estimate request. They came out within 2 days of calling and I didn't even need to be home, they simply took care of what was left outside where I instructed them and did everything via email and text. It was extremely easy to pay the invoice online and I appreciate that I didn't need to be there for a certain window of time because they allowed me to just leave everything outside.
