I purchased tickets from Liquidator for a concert. I should have trusted the reviews. I got to the event, tickets didn't work. The person with the real tickets to the event were already in the concert. I had to purchase real tickets at the ticket booth to get into the event. The only way to get a refund from Ticket Liquidator is to get a letter or an email in writing from the concert venue that the tickets were invalid. WHAT? I was supposed to ask the ticket counter person at the event to present me with something in writing to the reason they wouldn't take my tickets? Wow ... I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased. I was luckier than most folks here: I actually received the tickets I purchased, we saw the show, and it was great. I was annoyed that Ticket Liquidator "subscribed" me to 15 months of Wine Spectator magazine, a tall glossy 1/2 thick pile of ads. It's annoying to recycle because it is heavy, so I tried to unsubscribe ... but that was not so easy. First I wrote to the magazine and requested that it be canceled. I received a postcard stating that because my "order was placed through an agency," the magazine distributor couldn't unsubscribe me. Instead, I had to call a phone number. The phone number was a recording that instructed me to an internet address and a mailing address where I could unsubscribe. I tried unsubscribing online. I received a $30 discount coupon from T-Mobile today to give Ticket Liquidator a try. I wanted to get my wife tickets to a concert for Christmas so this was perfect. I had not yet looked into getting the tickets for said concert but went straight to Ticket Liquidator to look it up. They had tickets available for $40! That means after the $30 it would only be $50 for tickets, great price! I put them in my cart, proceed to checkout, apply code and go to the payment page. On the payment page it shows the convenience fee, $12 a ticket which is REALLY steep, then their is a charge to be able to print out the tickets and it was $8?!?!? I have never been charged when picking the "print your own tickets" option! So I was going to be paying $32 just in fees, my total is now up to over $80. I went to check other sites for the same tickets and directly from the artists webpage I was able to get tickets for $20 a piece, the whole venue is general admission mind you so they were not worse seats, and only a $8 convenience fee which worked out to be $34 cheaper even without a discount code. My experience with Ticket Liquidator was utterly traumatic. I booked two $300 tickets in June the day the sale of tickets for the Springsteen concert in Chicago opened. Those tickets were bought through Ticket Liquidator, after which their vendor Prestige Entertainment sent me an email asking for my credit card details and informing me that the tickets would be sent to me at the end of August. So far, so good. Come August, there was no news about my tickets from Ticket Liquidator. They would pass any query I had on to Prestige Entertainment. When I asked them where my tickets were, Prestige sends me an email saying they were waiting on "some information" and the tickets would get to me by Sept 4 in time for the Sept 7 concert. Or would be Fed Exed Overnight. Nothing of the sort happened. Even on Sept 7, the tickets had not arrived as I had been promised. I called up Ticket Liquidator every day from August 31st until three hours before the concert was to start but had no sign of my $300 dollar tickets. Finally on Sept 7, Prestige Entertainment called me and gave me an excuse about how the actual seating at the venue had been changed. Because of which I would not be able to get the original tickets I had paid for - in terms of seating. I had originally booked two tickets for the M block at the centre of the arena. What I was to be given instead was two tickets in corner seats in the T-block at the side. After the company had charged me money for FedEx shipping, I had to actually go and pick up the tickets myself from a restaurant opposite the venue. Ticket Liquidator has offered me a $40 discount on any future show. I am, however, never going to buy tickets through Ticket Liquidator or Prestige Entertainment again because of this horrible experience. If I enjoyed the concert despite my corner row tickets - which would have been an even better experience from the centre of the arena that I had originally paid money for - it was only because of Bruce Springsteen. Please DO NOT buy tickets through Ticket Liquidator or Prestige Entertainment. They are unprofessional and do not deliver what they promise. You will only be disappointed if you deal with them. Purchased tickets to see Darius Rucker on 1/28/16. The night of the event 7/22/16 I logged into my account to print my ticket and there was no ticket available in my account. I tried to call them and they did not answer the phone. I called Monday morning to get a credit to my account and Ticket Liquidator said there was a ticket in my account and they would not refund my money. I hung up the phone and logged in, there was a ticket in my account. I called my credit card and I am now disputing the charge with the help of Capital One. Hopefully I will get a refund from my credit card. Capital One has been very good in the past. read more

So, you guessed it, when I called Ticket Liquidator and spoke to a customer service agent as well as a supervisor, I was told TUFF LUCK - we never guaranteed that Bet would be in the show, we only guarantee that you are buying ticket to hello Dolly!! OK if she called in sick one night I would understand but since this has been a regular thing since early June, This is FRAUD! I just purchased tickets from ticketliquidator, and was shocked at the service fees and the delivery charge to print out your tickets. Go with someone else for concert tickets. They claim to be cheap on concert tickets, but then they hit you with outrageous service fee of $32.67 per ticket and a $7.95 delivery fee to print out your own tickets. for two tickets that cost $121.00 each with service fee and delivery was $315.00. I will never use this site again. It will be interesting to see if we have problems when we go to the concert. Avoid using this group. I purchased 2 tickets totaling $155 to see Hall and Oates and after receiving a confirmation email I then got a phone call where the ticket liquidator rep stated that my debit card was declined. I stated that this was impossible because before purchasing the tickets, I deposited monies into my checking account to make sure the transaction will go through. After calling my bank, I was informed by the bank that ticket liquidator after getting paid the first time, attempted to debit my account two more times; the bank noticed this and interpreted this as duplicate charges; thus they declined the charges. I called liquid Liquidator and informed them of this and they proceed to tell me that the first charge was a preliminary charge (even though the money was taken out of my account) and the second and third attempt was to get paid. They could not explain why after getting paid the first time, why was a second attempt made to get paid. In the end, I have not tickets and my checking account is less $155 which ticket liquidator stated would be "returned" to me in 5 to seven BUSINESS DAYS. Never again. Buyer beware.. read more

Purchased concert tickets 6 months in advance through a third party site, Ticket Champion, and found out THE DAY of the concert that they were counterfeit. I was denied access to the concert I had been dying to see for months, and was told that in order to see it I would need to purchase new tickets. I then was told to contact my bank for a refund, but since I had purchased them so far in advance, the time period to dispute a claim had passed and I needed to contact the company that sold them to me. While speaking with their terrible customer service rep, I was told that she couldn't do anything because her accountant was in a meeting and she didn't know when she would be out but she could call me back later. I ordered tickets for a Buffalo Bills game because they are cheaper than Stub Hub. I should have gone to Stub Hub where I have never had any problems. Ticket Liquidator took my money, and I never got my tickets. Apparently, when you order tickets through this company, you pay for a request, not the actual tickets. The tickets were already sold when I ordered them. Ticket Liquidator didn't contact me to let me know that I didn't get the tickets. However, they still took my money! After three emails and three phone calls, I finally spoke to a representative two and-a-half hours before the game that told me that the tickets were sold. We completed a last minute concert tickets purchase 1 1/2 hour before a show. Waited 30 min for a confirmation email which came with instructions and pin to claim the tickets. There, we were instructed that it would take about 35 min to deliver the tickets. While on our way to the venue we got a call informing us that the tickets had been sold to someone else "moments before" our sale and "There was NOTHING they could do". I asked if we could just purchase different tickets on the site and were told NO... it was now past their cut off time of 30 min before the show, but she was "so sorry" AND... we would be getting a full refund ...in 5-7 days!!! My husband immediately went to a competitor site and purchased other tickets, within minutes he got a call telling us that these tickets were also not available BUT they would be upgrading us to better seats for the same price as the concert was about to start, Then stayed on the phone with us until the tickets were available in the app.... The concert was great! It was my experience with Ticket Liquidators that was a NIGHTMARE!!! I ordered tickets nearly 2 months in advance through the website & was told the tickets would be delivered by postal method the day before the concert. No tickets. I called customer service that morning and was told they would have to get in touch with the supplier and they weren't open yet. I called back and was told that they method of service had been switched to email and I should be getting an email that morning, the morning of the event. No tickets. I asked them to just please email the tickets and they said they couldn't release them because restrictions were higher because they were in demand and they were ordering them directly through Ticketmaster. This made no sense. If I bought the tickets, I should get the tickets. I then spoke with them again and they said they would leave the tickets at will call. So, I was essentially driving 2 hours away, staying in a hotel that I couldn't cancel at this point for an events which I did not yet have tickets. My daughter and I arrived early at will call an hour before the event started. No tickets. I was then told I would need to go to wait in line for ticket service. No tickets. I called and asked for a supervisor and was put on hold 25 minutes. I called the supplier and was told that the courier was en route to drop them off. It is now less than 30 minutes to the concert and my 9-year old daughter and I were sitting on the concrete in desperation waiting for tickets to arrive. I went through will call 4 times. No tickets. Finally, we decided to go back to the hotel . As a last effort, I went to a different window. Finally, tickets. I noticed the face value was $79.00 for tickets I paid nearly $300 for. We got in about 10 minutes before the show. The only good thing is that when we were sitting in our nosebleed seats, ticketmasters called and offered better seats for all of the trouble since they were the supplier. This method of third-party ticket companies buying up all of the tickets then raising the prices and charging astronomical fees should be criminal. And then, to not get your tickets until 10 minutes before the concert starts after having gone back and forth all day to get them is absolutely ludicrous. I will NEVER, EVER use Ticket Liquidators again. They took what should have been a fun, exciting event with my daughter into a hellish experience. read more

BEWARE this company is a rip off and a con. I found this out when I went to buy tickets for a same day concert at the Davies Symphony Hall in SF. When I googled Davies Symphony Hall I was shown a web site that said "daviessymphonyhall.org and clearly implied, when I went to it, that they were THE Davies site for ticket purchases for the event. The site showed a seating chart with prices for different seating areas. In addition to the various implied and carefully constructed misleading statements one even said: "we (leading me to believe it was Davies making the statement since it was a daviessymphonyhall.org site with graphics and wording that appeared to be an actual site for Davies) recommend booking tickets using Ticket Liquidator, which is an online marketplace for official tickets for events at Davies." I wound up paying over $200 for 2 tickets that were offered for $29 by Davies Symphony Hall direct. In addition, don't be fooled by their leading you to believe you are purchasing tickets for a certain section while in very fine print, despite showing the area, they say your tickets can be in other sections as well. In this case, the tickets they sold me were in the last row of the top section when I thought I was getting tickets in a lower section. THIS IS A SCALPERS SITE, UNDER LEGIT FACADE and they will do whatever they can to mislead you into believing they are THE seller of the event tickets. DO NOT BE MISLEAD, YOU WILL BE "SCALPED" and SCAMMED. PASS THIS ON TO FRIENDS AND OTHERS. POST THIS ON FACEBOOK AND OTHER PUBLIC SITES!
